My favorite anime and Manga vary. I have a lot I like and a lot more I love.
My top five though is....
1. K Project
2. Brothers Conflict
3. Clannad and Clannad after story
4. Shiki
5. Itazura na Kiss
Plus a lot more. I don't read manga not unless the end of an anime makes me mad and I want to know more about it. For example Fruits Basket.

I started reading manga at age 13 and have been collecting since then. So far I have over 200 manga (luckily because i worked at a library and people would donate manga and i would take em) But it's hard to say what my favorite is because I've read so many, so Ill say that right now I'm enjoying Gantz. The anime is good up until the last episode and you're left like dafuq is this because the series STILL hasnt ended.  On of my girly favorites is Fushigi Yuugi And this is the only series that I have the FULL number of volumes. OK ok i guess you could say this is kind of my all time favorite ahahaha Samurai Deeper Kyo

Oh GOSH! Don't get me started..
I'm such an Otaku.. its so bad. ._.
Besides all the classical Animes, like Minky Momo in Yume ni Kakeru Hashi, Lady Lady', 'Hello Sandybell', and 'Lady Georgie' I've been watching since young.. I remember one of my first shoujo type of Anime was 'Peach girl'.. which got me hooked. >_<
Other Animes that I liked, Don't laugh some are a bit girly >.>, (My tops are with the hearts <3)

As for mangas.. Yeah I read almost every Shoujo Manga out there on the net. From Korean manhwas to the Japanese mangas.. It would be too long to list and I have a gazillion favorites......Woot.. I had no life >_> I still don't <_< But I watched too many Animes and read too many Mangas..That I got tired of it in the end.
So what happened next.. I moved on to J-Dramas and K-Dramas.. >_> And watched almost every K-Drama out there <_<

As for the why part.. The ones with the '<3' Had special meanings that I felt was able to connect to reality. Like Naruto.. Deathnote..
The rest was for mere entertainment. Some may have had special themes to take from or what not.

I love Asian Dramas. Have you watched one called Devil beside you or Fated to love you. Those are my two favorites right now.

MARMALADE BOY!!!! I read that one in english and in spanish, it was one of the first few I have ever read hehehe. Dude, I read Tokyo Mew Mew when I was 15, I will never read that s**t again...EVER. I consider Death Note to be one of the best well crafted mangas out there. Though it is not something I would read again because it's a bit confusing at times. I have a couple mangas of Kimi no Todoke, but I never finished the series or anything, was it worth it? OMG, I left out one of the most hilarious manga EVER. heart Wallflower heart

I have watched a bit but never really finished them XD But I'm mostly into Korean dramas. They appeal to me more; their plots are just amazing. >.< Plus the guys are hot. heart

But Death Note..Kuroshitsuji..Bleach (except for the fillers) Watched ALL the episodes <3 Once I watch an anime, I usually don't read the manga.. Vica versa ..since again I get bored easily <.< I'm such an Oddball... For the Mangas, I loved the Gender Bender ones XD And where the girl was a strong heroine.. xD
