Cosplay - It didn't take long for Korina to begin making clothing once she became more involved in sewing. She started one year by choosing to be the green M&M for Halloween and grew to make more costumes of many sorts of characters. She's known to show off her creations throughout the year at a convention or two, for costume parties, or just around the house. She even makes costumes for commissions.
Crocheting and Sewing - Korina's grandmother taught her to sew and crochet as a young girl. Her first projects were primarily scarves, plush dolls, and quilts; later she progressed to outfits designed after her favorite characters and pieces of her own design. She opened her Etsy shop late 2008 and it is chock full of plushies, (sizes ranging from six inches to over six feet) bedding, and goods of all sorts. She accepts commissions for custom orders and prides herself on the quality of her work.
Pinterest - To sell her many creations, Korina uses Etsy. To relax, she spends long periods of each day going through pins from many different boards on Pinterest. From DIY chalkboard paint to tips on loosing weight, it's her go-to website.
Shopping - Due to the long hours where neither of Korina's parents may be found at home, they keep her stocked with a practically bottomless credit card. Not the best move for a sixteen-year-old with expensive taste in material for her projects and in pretty much everything else. She prefers to shop online (Etsy or Amazon) and orders so much that many times she forgets what she's ordered. It's hard for Korina to go a day without making a single purchase, online or in person.
Virtues:
Caring - Korina truly has a heart for those in need, strangers or not. She wants to do whatever she can to make their situations better, including putting whoever else before herself. People have been known to take advantage of her sympathy, but she still seem to find the good in people and aims to help better them anyway she can.
Forgiving - With as many people that take advantage of her caring personality, it's amazing that Korina forgives as quickly and easily as she does. She rarely stays upset with a person for too long. It's not in her personality to hold a grudge. Many times this has set her up to get hurt over and over by those who understand her mannerisms.
Generous - Korina loves to share her abundant flow of funds and time with her friends. From paying for their food or filling up their gas tanks to spending an evening consoling a heartbroken friend, she can't get enough of giving.
Optimistic - The glass is half full with Korina. Even if something's going wrong, she feels that after every storm there's a rainbow. When something's bothering someone else, she tries to console them by looking at the bright side. If she's the one being bothered by something or someone, she tends to get upset and cry/whine/pout for a while and then takes another look at the situation to see the positive side, no matter how small that may be.
Flaws:
Emotional - Crybaby might as well be Korina's nickname. It's easy to make her feel upset by simply not smiling back at her passing on the street. She tends to wear her heart and soul on her sleeve and has been picked on and taken advantage of numerous times thanks to this. She's not the type to get mad over a situation. Pouting is a different story, though.
Naive - Korina doesn't understand the corruption and hate in the world. It's amazing the girl hasn't been tricked with the "Free Candy" van tactic or something of the sort. She's been ridiculed by her parents and several close friends numerous times over her instinctive response to accept everything as truth and everyone as good. It's caused her several instances of mockery and a few close-calls with some shady characters. She'll change the subject if it's ever brought up since it makes her feel dumb.
Spoiled - Since her parents aren't able to spend as much time as they'd like to with Korina, she is rewarded most everything she wants and more. They tend to feel guilty about how little time they actually spend with her and as a result, shower her with gifts. Korina hasn't said anything to them yet, but she would much rather more time with them.
Unsure - Korina is notorious for being indecisive. Decisions are difficult things to make, especially since there's always a wrong one. She hates knowing that a choice she could make today that feels right for the situation may cause an even larger issue to be dealt with at a later time. Even when a decision has been made, Korina fights with herself on following through with it.

Effect - The affected party will not recognize the world around them for the time effected, but will feel a sense of déjà vu. Locations will suddenly look foreign and faces no longer look recognizable, but the character will feel as if the information they seek is "on the tip of their tongue". Characters who try to remember how they got there or what's going on suffer from confusion and disorientation.
Use Limits - This attack may be used three times per battle and affects one person.
Power Limits - This attack lasts for twenty seconds.
Weaknesses - Mneme must not be bumped while spinning and pointing at her victim or else the attack will fail. She can hit a target up to three feet away.
Super Sailor Scout Attack:
Name - Mneme Haze!
Execution - Mneme spins in a circle, shouting the name of her attack, and then points with both of her index fingers toward an enemy.
Effect - The affected party will not recognize the world around them for the time effected. Locations will suddenly look foreign, and faces no longer look recognizable. Characters who try to remember how they got there or what's going on suffer from confusion and disorientation.

Execution - Mneme spins in a circle, singing the name of her attack, and raises her hands up slowly, creating an invisible range.
Effect - The affected parties will not recognize the world around them for the time effected. Locations will suddenly look foreign, and faces no longer look recognizable. Characters who try to remember how they got there or what's going on suffer from confusion and disorientation.
Use Limits - This attack may be used one time per battle and affects all parties within the five foot radius from Mneme.
Power Limits - This attack lasts for thirty seconds.
Weaknesses - If Mneme is knocked down during her attack, it will falter. The range is stationary and doesn't move as Mneme does.

Hey there Xevra! Your profile looks pretty good to me, I just have one question...more for my own clarification than anything.
On her attacks, does Mneme just spin around once, or does she have to spin for the entire duration of the attack?
Like I said, I am just curious, and I would get so dizzy if it was me omg. I got dizzy thinking about it! (I love her hair by the way. It is so big and fantastic)

Hey, Orange, and thanks for looking over Korina/Mneme!!! biggrin xD Having Mneme spin through her entire attack would be hilarious and makes me dizzy thinking about it, too, but I had only intended for her to spin once at the beginning of her attacks. Thank you so much! biggrin I love her hair as well. <3
