The park was quiet at this time of afternoon, the sharp n** in the autumn air enough to put most off lingering around for long. Not so for a certain little tabby bobtail. He’d spotted a grassy knoll up above the children’s playground earlier and had decided to go have a look and see what was up there, but a glimpse of a shiny-looking something had distracted him and Liryn had put off trying to find a way up to the knoll in favour of checking out the shiny something. It turned out to be a large button half-trodden into the ground. One side had been a plain grey but the other had some sort of coating on it that made it flash pretty colours in the autumnal light. Not too sure what to do with it, Liryn had left it in and gone back to his original plan - seeing what was on top of the grassy knoll that he’d spotted earlier.

Glen hadn't been too sure of what made him go to th park, but he was sort of glad he had went because, well, he needed some relaxing time, and it was nice out so he had decided to just relax, sit in the grass on the knoll and do his homework.
Homework he was now stuck on, ruining that relaxation. "Who even invented math!? If they were still alive....." He quieted down, realizing he had yelled in public about the most common problem in history, and the cat just a bit a ways being really cute may have distracted him.
Cats, his secret weakness, the reason he made sure noone looked at his laptop or bookmarks, and s**t this one was pawing at something. Glen realized somewhere in his mind that maybe he was too interested in the cat, as a procrastination tactic. And this is why he didn't approach the cat, merely watched.

It had taken longer to reach the top of the knoll than Liryn had been expecting and it was only when he got there that he realised that the space was occupied in form of a blond. Not that it bothered Liryn, person up on the knoll = source of potential strokings after all. Instead he trotted closer to the teen with the intention of trying to get a few strokes - after all he likes strokes as much as any cat. The suddenly outburst had him pause and stare at the blond with his purplish eyes for a moment or two as he wondered what was wrong with Maths, but when no further outburst seemed forthcoming he drifted closer, little tail waving jauntily with (he hoped) a 'please stroke me' vibe.

Oh man, that's what he needed to not do his homework, really. He picked the cat up, never truly fearing them as he did...the other things, and began petting the cat, scratching behind it's ears at intervals.
"You have got to be the weirdest looking cat." He was mainly talking about the purple eyes, since yeah, cats didn't normally have them, and the odd little star on it's head, and that certainly wasn't normal. "Maybe a birth defect?" It would be a cool one, if that were the case. He begrudingly returned to his homework, petting the cat occaisionally and wondering if he had anything in his satchel to git. Which, thinking about it, he did. This also proved as a good distraction. "I think cats can eat this. I guess." He muttered, reaching into the bag and pulling out a bit of the candy he had bought early, his other secret favorite thing, cookies and creme candy bars. "Oh, that'll definetly be bad. Maybe you can have a bit?" And a bit turned into a small, full mini bar broke off the chocolate and handed to the cat.
A cat doctor he was not, but man, cats pawing at stuff before they ate was cute.

Liryn was happy that the blond had picked up on his 'please stroke me' vibe and even happier when he scritched behind his ears. There was something about the teen that he couldn't quite put his little paws on, although he was quite happy to sit and puzzle it out, especially as the blond continued to pet him, even as he went back to the book that he seemed to be pouring over. It was as the other was breaking off the candy that it clicked - he had the same sense about the blond as he'd had about the red-head. The blond was breaking off what smelled like chocolate and as he passed it across Liryn nosed at it before sitting up and looking at the teen with his purplish eyes "Thank you" the two words were spoken very deliberately, his voice cheerful as he continued to speak to the blond. "It smells very nice." The park was quiet at this time of afternoon, the time of day and the n** of the autumn air not inviting people to want to linger and with only the two of them up there on the knoll it was hard to mistake where the voice had come from.

Glen froze at the sound of that soft voice, then looked down at the cat and around because no, a cat did not just talk to him dammit, it couldn't possibly have. But when he saw noone in sight he had to unfortunatley that yes, that cat had just thanked him. "Y-your welcome." He stuttered, the shock beginning to actually phase him. "You can talk, you shouldn't be talking! How are you talking and why!?" He refrained from touching the cat at least. Knowing that might lead to him hurting it in his panic (which he was pointedly not doing he assured himself) and he had at least enough sense to not do that. Talkig or not, it was still a cat(?) after all.
And if it wasn't a cat it definetly better not be one of those damn monsters.

Well actually Liryn was a mauvian, not some run of the mill garden cat. He didn’t think the blond would appreciate the distinction though - not with the way that he started glancing round the knoll as if expecting someone to suddenly jump out at him. Instead he nibbled a bit at the treat that the other had given him, noting that it tasted as good as it had smelt. He looked over as the blond finally stopped looking round the knoll that was empty of all but the two of them and started stuttering questions at him instead. "Yes I really can talk" he said when it looked like the questions had come to an end, adding "And I talk like anyone else I guess." He didn’t talk to just anyone though. He twitched his tail cheerfully, as he added. "By the way what’s your name?" It would be nice to be able the blond something other than 'the blond' as he was mentally doing.

"Okay, that statement is wrong on a few levels, mainly that, you know, cats can't talk? And i'm Glen." Well, might as well tell the cat his name, he was just eating the candy. Glen sighed, giving the cat the entire bar.
"You gotta give me your name too, and you know, tell me why you decided to just reveal a secret like that?" And not remind him of a certain shitty movie or some remakes he wasn't particularly fond of. or the cartoo--you know what? The whole genre, he didn't want to be reminded of the entire genre period, it wasn't one of his favorites. "And then tell me why you couldn't just help me with this damn homework?" He gestured angrily to the papers, really more of a distraction tool, something grounded a bit more to reality for him. It also was his attempt at joking, sadly.

"Well maybe not a regular cat no" Liryn conceded in between licking chocolate off his paw, purplish eyes lighting up as the blond pushed the rest of the chocolate in his direction although he made no move to start eating it, instead as the blond introduced himself he sat on his haunches so as to look up at the other better. "Nice to meet you Glen, I'm Liryn" he said in answer to Glen's request for a name, pronouncing the word Lirin. "And I've well got something for you." He got to his feet at that, standing at his rather unimpressive cat-height for a moment for backing up a little and pulling off a small but credible back flip, two object slipping down to land with a quiet thump over the area that he'd flipped over. He picked up one in his mouth and trotted over the small distance between them, dropping it so that it was closer to the other, the object appearing to be some sort of over-sized pen thing "Here" he said. "They're both yours, but you should try this one first." He looked thoughtfully at Glen for a moment, nodding to himself before adding "Try picking it up and calling out "Naos Power Make-Up!" The thoughtful look turned into an expectant look as he sat and watched.

Naos Power make up? Hold up this stupid pen and shout that? He looked at the cat, pretty sure he had simply fallen asleep. Because these things were the cherry on top of a weird afternoon that couldn't be anything but a dream.
Regardless, he laughed. Well, if it was a dream... “Okay, okay. First off, you better hope i'm just asleep on the hill,” He probably wouldn't do anything, but the words comforted him. “Second, i'm probably just in a weird dream, so that threat seems stupid. The words do to, but i'm going to humor you and do it. “ Breathing in, and gaining a confidence he wasn't aware of, he held the strange little pen with that cracked bell for the symbol (and wow, weird coincidence it looked like the liberty bell. He cursed history) and shouted “Naos Power, Make up!”
And promptly wished he hadn't. The transformation itself felt weird, and a bit exhilarating, as if he had tapped into something that had been there the whole time but he could never quite get to it, it also made him incredibly motion sick, so he had to close his eyes for a minute to regain his composure(he was also sure he was nude for just a bit there, and was glad no one had been around. Dream or not, that would be pretty embarrassing). Blinking them open he looked down to see what he could, and grimaced. “Shorts!?” He had noticed the gloves, and those were probably the best part of the outfit the shoes too, considering converse had yet to make that color as far as he knew. But the shorts? They, in their evil, tacky looking on boys way destroyed anything good about his new outfit.”How come I have shorts!? I better not be the only one!” He growled, turning to the cat. At least this clothes nightmare distracted him from the fact he should be freaking out.

Liryn said nothing as Glen rambled on about dreams and being asleep, continuing to look at the blond with an expectant look in his purplish eyes. He knew that the other was neither dreaming or asleep even if Glen seemed not to have realised the fact. And he was waiting to see if the other was going to use the pen - after all although Liryn could provide it, was effectively providing the other with what was his to belong with, the choice to take those first steps and henshin up was one that only Glen (hopefully soon to be Naos) could make. The blond made the choice and soon it was no longer Glen standing there, but rather Sailor Naos, Sailor Naos of... He focused a little and concentrated and the same something that told him that Sailor Mizar was the senshi of hummingbirds told him that Naos was the senshi of liberty. Liberty, not crafts. He tilted his head at the new senshi, "I cannot say why you have shorts Naos" he said at last in answer to the other's question. "Outfits differ by senshi" he nudged the second object towards the blond adding cheerfully "But you do get a cell phone."

"Oh good, because a cell phone would help me get over the fact I just transformed into...into I don't know!" But he did take the phone, examining it, determining he would probably customize the hell out of it later. He made an attempt to calm down, because Liryn was cute, he couldn't bring himself to hate him, or stay mad at him. A few calming breaths later, Glen sat back down, tired even though he had pretty much been sitting not too long ago.
"Okay okay. I--this is so weird. Are we all the same? Different powers? I might as well ask, I've been signed up for life I take it." The last one wasn't really a question for Liryn to answer, because, in the back of his mind Glen, Naos, knew the answer already. He decided to add another question. "Are there more cats? You can't be the only one."

"You're Sailor Naos" Liryn had been pretty sure that he'd explained that much, although Naos' 'I don't know' comment suggested that maybe he hadn't and so he was happy enough to mention it again. "You're the Senshi of Liberty and you will always be the Senshi of Liberty." Liryn continued. "But no one can force you to henshin up." It would always be the other's choice on whether to power up or not. A thought occurred to him. "By the way when you want to be Glen again, all you have to do is focus on being Glen" his voice turned serious "But you should be careful about who you let know about this." His voice turned cheerful again as he continued "And to answer your questions yes there are other senshi and yes there are other cats - although I couldn't tell you how many." He lazily waved his little stub of his tail. "You are not all the same though as you are who you are and they would be who they are." It made sense to him - there could only be one senshi of liberty, just as there could only be one senshi of hummingbirds - whether it made sense to a Glen turned Naos was another question altogether though. He looked up Naos, "Did you have any other questions for me?" Time had shifted whilst they were talking and it was starting to shift into late territory, but if Naos had questions then Liryn was happy to stay and try and answer them to the best of his abilities. No questions seemed to be forthcoming however and so after a last bite of chocolate, Liryn said "I'm going to be off now, but thank you again for the chocolate." He padded away a few steps before turning "As a Senshi you can do magic and you should totally try it out sometime" for a moment he looked deep in concentration but finally he added "I think the words you need are Liberty dispelling beam, but you'll need to put some feeling behind them when you use them - because feeling's important." He turned again calling out as he padded off "And when you meet other senshi" and he was sure that Naos would meet other senshi. "You should add their details to your cell phone so you can call them and vice-versa. It didn't take log for Liryn to make his way back down the knoll, even with him going slowly in case Naos called out to him with another question, the blond senshi hadn't however so on reaching the bottom he trotted off. The afternoon was shifting to evening and evening meant senshi searching time and who knew - mayhaps tonight would be the night that he finally found his senshi. Kaname Kyoto as agreed I've turned this into a closing tag, let me know if anything needs changing :3
