It has been nearly a week now. The land slowly being reborn from the land of Lunaris. The center of this creation is a large oak tree. It stands taller than any known tree recorded in the land. However many trees of it's kind slowly form beside it. A temperate forest is spreading across the land like a wild fire...
Animals seem to be sprouting out of large seeds and aimlessly travel the land looking for food...

Anthony Archer stood up in front of the tree. Awe inspired by it's energy and size. He heard a snap near it and looked down to see some thing familiar. A black wolf standing beside it. Though he noticed it's eyes. "Gares?"
The wolf nodded as it shifted into gares human form. Though he seemed to abolish his armor for fur armor. Lining his whole body with fur. His head protected by an armadillo shell. Gares smiled to Anthony. "You were right to bring me here. This ancient has told me things. Things I never would have believed when I was a paladin. I feel so much freer than before..." He smiled. His wolf ears sticking out of his Armadillo helmet. "I won't forget my vows as a paladin... but my master told me to seek to control my shape shifting... and this ancient is telling me how."
Anthony waited for the rest of the team. Before he made a decision about what to do.

Aqua emereged from the thick wood afterwards, the tree imediatelly catching her eye. She looked up at the massive thing in awe. She had seen smal glimpses of it once in a while through the knitted branches, but it was far larger than just that. "Wow, it's amazing!" she said, sensing the energy around it. She looked down to see Anthony with a fur covered Gares? "Thank goodness, you made it." she said to him.

Gares smiled at her. "Of course I did. I thought you would have been here sooner. I am going to stay here and understand the ways of the shape shifter..." He nodded to Aqua. "He is a wise spirit and has taken me as his apprentice."
Anthony raised a brow. "The tree took you in as an apprentice?"
The tree then shook violently as a face began to break apart from it. Revealing a face with a chin and large eyes. A big nose and leaves as a beard. Vine like arms fell to the side as he eyed his company. "AHhh. These must be the guests you mentioned. Welcome to my forest! My name is Delenos. I was once a humanoid. Though through a great transformation of spirit and mind. I have become one with creation and heal the damage done by ruin." The face lowered itself down to Anthony and Aqua. "I have heard of your names and are welcome to stay as long as you please. I can provide you with the fruits of your efforts, and congratulate you to making it this far." Delenos spoke slowly as his wooden body would shatter if speaking to fast.

((The Great Deku Tree!!!)) Aqua looked up at the tree. "Amazing! Thank you very much, sir." she said. "Do you really think you can heal the forests?" she asked. She ha seen what they looked like, not good at all.

"Of course I can heal the forests... and I plan on doing more than just heal the forests. I plan on cleaning the air and cleansing the water that was polluted. To restore the earth and to help life." He looked to Gabriel. "Please child. You should not fear me. I am an ally of all life."

Gabriel said looking around still feeling cautious. The other two didn't know the exact detail of what happened of him and were probably tired of hearing him talk about it.

"It's not a pretty sight. Nor a fairy tale story. It's more like a nightmare but I suppose Traveling companions deserve to know the whole story at least." Gabriel said as he turned his back towards them and removed his shirt revealing several burn marks that looked like it was caused by some kind of flaming arrow. Along with several other burn and cut scars all over his back. In between his shoulder blades there was a marking for some kind of god. It looked like it was carved into his body and then scorched to make it close up and become permanent. Surprisingly his arms and legs weren't marked but his upper torso was nearly torn apart. He then turned towards them revealing that mark that Gares and Anthony had regarding their god was seared across his flat and slightly toned stomach. Along with the names of several of the other gods. His body was torn apart with scars and gaps of flesh missing from having them cut out and burned to permanently leave him like that. It was not a sight for the weak hearted. If Aqua thought his back was bad. The front was much much worse. He then sighed and began to explain his story of how Mermaid flooded and drowned a large chunk of his home kingdom. And that the parts they couldn't flood had been burned down. He told of how he was held down and tortured having his flesh cut and the gashes carved out as they'd planned to imprint him with the names of all the gods. He then told of how he managed to get away, but only barely alive before they could finish the job. And finally he told of how he was manipulated by dreams into letting it all happen. It was a painful story and silent tears were rolling down his face as he finished recalling the events of the past.

Gares would look at the cuts. He remembered being a part of that massacre. He hid his face behind his new found fur. He killed everyone in front of him... but he didn't know they tortured anyone.
"It's a damn shame kid..." He admitted as he looked away. Not wanting to see the symbol of Xysero on his back. He noticed how Gares had looked away. Though didn't say anything about it."
"To dwell on the past is to boil yourself in your own anguish. It will only twist how you see things." His vine like arms carefully caressed Gabriel closer to his face. "You poor poor humanoid. I wish such things did not happen to you." He would breath what felt like a mist of spores on him. Restoring the scar tissue, though not the burned skin. "That is the best I can do for you child... if only I could have been their to help."

"I try to forget my past, and live life to it's fullest. But with everything that's been going on. I feel like my past is trying to catch up to me." Gabriel sighed picking up his shirt but didn't put it on. Instead he draped it over one shoulder holding it by the collar in his hand.

"The past is in the past Gabriel. Think yourself as the wind. Go where your heart tells you, but do not burden yourself with what you leave behind young one. Your heart must be open to all those who seek to be caressed by it." He looked to the rest of the group. "That goes for the rest of you little children."

"I know. Revenge is stupid. Hatred only breeds Hatred. That's why when I escaped I found my way to a village and began trying to help out those that were in the need of it. I figure it'd be better to spend my life helping others and making life better. Then to waste it on revenge and hurting people. I mean. It won't bring the dead back to life. It's better to honor what they stood for and live my life the way I was raised up. Don't you think?" Gabriel sounded sincere about the way he wanted to live. He hated that dreams ruined his life yes. But he also chose to live his life to make others better. It seemed like he was speaking wisdom beyond his years.

The tree shook himself. "NOooo. When you help people to return the favors of the dead. You still look to the past. You will always find it staring back to you. I gave you my answer child. Follow the your heart as though it was the wind. It will guide you to where you need to go."
