Take turns rolling one 6-sided die with an RP post to determine random event!
You must wait until TWO other people post and roll before you can go
again.
1. A small hole in top of the balloon begins to rip (If you land on this 6 times as a group, your balloon is going to slowly decline... and you all must stop rolling. This is the end of the side story for your group. Any number of times less than 6, continue rolling.)
2. The breeze picks up slightly. (nothing happens)
3. A murkrow soared past. What was that thing people say about murkrows... weren't they bad luck? (you can only land on this once per person and counts as a side story point for you. After that, this space will turn into nothing happening. The murkrow is only spotted by the person who rolled.)
4. A pidgey flies by. OH GAWDD, NOOOOO! WE DON'T HAVE ANYTHING TO GIVE YOU-- oh wait, there's something different about that pidgey... (you can only land on this once per person and counts as a side story point for you. After that, this space will turn into nothing happening. The pidgey is only spotted by the person who rolled.)
5. The Captain tells you about the geography of the land, the local flora and fauna... something something something... How boring (nothing happens).
6. Sitting cramped in a balloon with all these people and little leg room sure was annoying... (nothing happens).
If you somehow manage to all see murkrow and pidgey and your balloon is still in the air, CONGRATSSSS!!!! You win the event.

Genesis threw Ajax into an empty balloon and leaped in after him, only to crash against the other side of the basket. Phew, good thing no one had been here to see her except Ajax.
Peeking her head out of the edge, she kept an eye on the scrambling trainers and looked out for Corbin.
Ajax wuffed with displeasure when he was so unceremoniously thrown into the basket, but better safe within than fighting without, he supposed. Unable to see over the lip of the basket, he settled instead by the side and kept an ear pressed towards the wall.

Once Corbin was close enough to the balloon for Aaron to make it, Aaron jumped from his trainer's arms and into the balloon. He nearly landed on Ajax and did his best to scramble out of Corbin's way.
Corbin grabbed onto the edge of the basket and vaulted over. He landed in a crouch and slowly stood up. He stretched and cracked his back. "Oh man. Way too old for this kind of stuff. Really wish I still had my old gear." He muttered to himself. He reached into his coat to hand Aaron his hat back. "Hold onto it this time. I don't know if I'll be able to catch it again." He said to his pokemon before turning to Eliza, "Hey. So nice to see you made it in one piece. Sorry I lost track of ya. It was madness out there."

Genesis laughed, feigning more relief than she felt.
"Don't worry, I was the one who left," she said, shrugging her bag up by way of explaining her sudden disappearance. "Glad to see you made it out of there alive, too. It's crazy!"
Ajax took a step back to avoid the pup, the fur around his neck rising impulsively at the sudden presence in his personal bubble. When he realized who it was, however, he gave a slight c**k of his head, asking silently if the pup was all right.

Corbin nodded when he saw the bag. "And this is why I don't let others take my bag." He said, "Not that I've gone through something exactly like this. It is crazy. It seems we lost that one young lady, Anise." He sighed and looked about. "Hm.. doesn't seem like anyone is running for this balloon right now.... but we should be ready to make room."
Aaron took his hat and put it back on his head. He looked at Ajax and slightly tipped his head. Yeah he was beat and ragged but he was okay overall. After all it seemed that Corbin took the brunt of the attacks. He felt bad as he should be the one protecting Corbin but instead he was the one being protected.

"I'll keep that in mind for next time, if we don't end up dying here," Genesis said, an amused smile tugging at her lips.
At his words, she scooted off to the side in case anyone else decided to leap in similar to how she did. Then, "Let's try to get this thing going -- we don't want to fall with the rest of the ship."
Although their communication was nonverbal, Ajax could infer the pup's guilt from the way he looked at his trainer. He was not one emotional support and as far as he saw it, the guilt could serve helpful so long as it drove the pup forward without impeding his progress. Following that, it wouldn't do to dwell upon it.
"Your hat's too big," he said, stating the obvious by way of conversation.

Corbin laughed a little at late. "I doubt we'll die... but a flying pokemon would be handy right now." He said. He looked about the balloon when she mentioned trying to get it going. "Well miss.... I've done lots of things in my time but flying a balloon is not one of them." He said gazing up at the firing device to heat the air in the balloon, "I think that's what we use to get it to lift up..... but I don't know if we should do that just yet. I mean there are still a few people left on the ship."
Aaron looked at Ajax for a long moment and scooted off to the side, near Corbin. "I'll grow into it." He commented simply. After that was what Corbin told him all the time. That the hat was too big but he'd grow into it.

Genesis snorted, playing amused but wondering if she'd done something to make Corbin think so. Hopefully, she was only over-analyzing things.
"We won't be leaving them, silly! It's going to take a while to get the balloon up, and we don't want to start the countdown only after the basket's filled," she told him. She tried to sound confident, but honestly she'd no idea what to do, either. Her preferred mode of travel via vehicle was bicycle. The rest of the time, she had her Pokémon take her or simply rode in the back of whatever her company chose.
She poked around and eventually got a flame going -- and it was only then did she how large the actual balloon had to be to support eight people. Yep, this was definitely going to take some time...
Ajax nodded and left it at that. Not one for conversation, he figured their short exchange would be enough for the pup as it was enough for him.

Lex rolled into the balloon, shifted and swung both his Cottonee and pack into the basket before hauling himself up and in. "I have decided I really hate bird pokemon," he grouched.
The cottonee puffed up, shaking loose bits of cotton like puff and broken feathers from his round form. He gave a soft whistle of agreement and flapped his leaves.

Oki scattered the birds crowding around them with a loud Roar, and Anise saw they were closer to the balloons than she thought. She dashed over to the nearest one and clambered into it, then turned to look at Oki.
"I don't think there's enough room in here for you. You better return for now, I'll let you out as soon as I can," she told him, and held out his pokemon. The Zoroark sighed but assented, and was swiftly recalled to his pokeball. Then Anise crouched below the rim of the basket and held on to anything she could before looking around at the basket's other occupants.

"Ah yeah I guess so. It would be bad to try and get the balloon ready to go as the ship goes down." Corbin replied to Eliza. He moved out of the way of the two newcomers. As he was looking them over to make sure they weren't severely hurt he noticed one was Anise. "Anise. I thought we had lost you in all the insanity out there." He said before looking at Lex, "Hello there. While you say that now..... you'd probably appreciate them if you were say... plummeting down towards the ground after an airship failed and crashed."
Seeing the new people, well really one new person and one new pokemon, Aaron quickly hid behind Corbin as best as he could. He peeked out when he thought they weren't looking at him. During one of those peeks he noticed that Oki wasn't around. He looked questioningly at Anise for a moment.

Cai sprawled into the bottom of the basket, catching his breath and cursing as he pushed bloody red strands of hair from his face.
"I'm going to kill someone. I am going to straight up murder whatever idiot is responsible for this stupid trip and I am NEVER going to leave solid ground again for as long as I live!" The battered healer shakily sat up and dragged himself into a crouch, mentally giving himself a once over as he moved, testing for injuries that he couldn't immediately see or feel. He shed the remains of his jacket at their feet, readjusting the pocketed strap of his satchel over the loose fitted high necked green tank beneath it.
Hole's were torn in it's stomach, and thin scratches showed in the pale freckled skin beneath, but nothing too serious had become of him at least in that delicate region.

"Tell me about it," Genesis agreed with a dramatic sigh. She paused suddenly when she realized she recognized the Cottonee, but she recovered so quickly the inaction was almost imperceptible. Turning away, she feigned interest in the balloon and fanned the flame with a hand, as if that alone would speed up the process.
"Anise! It's good to see you got out of there! Ho--" Another body soon joined them, his sudden appearance cutting her short. She inspected him for a moment, then loosened the bag on her shoulder, preparing to take supplies out if need be.
"Oh, I forgot to ask!" she said, slapping her forehead. "Are you guys okay?"
Ajax joined Aaron behind Corbin's legs, though it was less out of fear and more out of realizing the growing necessity for space. He appraised the newcomers silently, paying special attention to their Pokémon.

Anise was a bit rattled by the scramble through the Pidgeys and it took her a moment to recognize the person speaking to her. It was actually the sight of the Riolu in the distinctive hat that recalled her. "Oh! Hello Corbin, good to see you made it safely out of the swarm." She noticed Aaron was looking quizzically at her and pondered over why for a moment before she recalled he was interested in Oki. "Oki's in his pokeball right now," she told him. "I wasn't sure there'd be enough room in the basted for him, especially if more people come in."
When someone else came into the basket with scratches and bloody hair, Anise gasped and reached for her bag. But seeing how competently Cai was checking himself for injuries, she paused. Did he knew at something of treating injuries? Deciding it was best to be safe, she offered, "Are you OK? Do you need treatment or supplies? I'm a healer, and I kept my bag with me," she offered, patting the messenger bag slung over one shoulder.
At Genesis's question, she answered, "I'm shaken and maybe a little sore, but well. Oki kept the Pidgeys off me well enough, though it took us a while to get through them."

Cai gave Anise a wary appraising look before finally nodding his acceptance and acknowledgement. He patted his own pack, in the process releasing one of the latches to reveal a small cache of supplies. It could be assumed some of the other pockets held similar. Nothing fancy, but enough basics for the most common oopsies encountered on a day trip. "I, as well." He responded to Anise.
He'd not broken anything, his fall, nor the tumble into the basket had been that traumatic and other than a few cuts and some swelling bruises, Cai was fairly sure his worst injury was just the cut to his forehead. "If you would? I can't see it myself." He pointed to the injury.
Cai had noticed his previous companion, as well as two others in their basket, one of which was also reaching for her bag. Had all of the healers landed in the same basket? Sucked to be anywhere else then. Cai withdrew a small travel sized bottle of antiseptic spray and carefully bent to obscure the scratches on his stomach while he tended them. "Lex. Is Hollin injured?"
