He had continued to come out patrolling despite his pesky little problem. He wasn't the only one plagued by it. He'd helped a young girl rid herself on one not an hour ago, but he's only managed to get caught up and cornered by his own just after. Now he was running again, sporting a bruise on his cheek from a blow to the face. He couldnt help but curse the fact that his double was exact right now to the weapon because he was certain the snake left an odd bruise.
The last time he ran he didn't really have a destination in mind, he was just trying to escape. Tonight, however, he was headed straight for the library. Not everyone had a clone and he was hoping that maybe that was the case with Camelot and that he could help. If not, he would just need to think of another plan. For now that was it and he was almost there. He could see the building just three blocks down.
"Ugh," he shouted out as his double hit him hard with its rod, right in his kidney's. He went down clutching his side and trying to scurrying back from the double. It didn't stop its advance looming over Shang and jabbing at him. He dogded, but he couldn't keep it up for ever.
"For the queen," it spouted as it tried once more to take Shang's life growing more frustrated with each miss.
Shang swung out a foot slamming it hard into the other's inner thigh, watching the double stumble and fall giving him enough time to get his feet and summon his weapon before he was being attacked again.

Kyndall, and by extension Shalott, was a woman of little excitement these days. Well, except for the four month old baby at home and finding out her stepson was a senshi. Well, and finding out her husband was a templar, something even she didn't know could happen. So perhaps it was for some peace and quiet that she went for a walk on patrol that night. Though that wasn't meant to be it seemed. It wasn't hard to spot Shang ahead, she felt his aura, but there were two of him there.
This...wasn't a good thing.
"Shang!"
The last time she was him he was completely broken up about his missing sister and looked fairly beaten up. She'd tried to help him and had taken some liberties. Hopefully he did not remember her badly. He didn't look like he was doing too well with the double. Where had that come from? It didn't take her long to determine the knight, the real one, was in trouble.
"I'm coming!"
She'd gotten a power boost since he saw her last. She hoped that would help in this fight. She picked up to a run and stood by his side, eyes flashing with determination. She was here to protect, serve, and guide the new members of Order in their new lives.
"I'm here."

His name being called out almost got him clocked in the head again, but he just barely managed to dodge the hit before throwing out a punch of his own and looking to his new arrival.
He KNEW her, or remembered her at least. She had been pretty determined to help last they met, but she looked different now. Still surely she was the same determined woman she was the first time they met. He could use a little of that now.
"It's good to see you," he said a bit frantically as he was dodging blows but still he was a well mannered man and he felt the greeting was necessary before he spilled all.
He pushed the double hard making it tumble away from him and turned trying to fill Shalott in. "This thing as been chasing my for several nights. It seems determined to kill me and only me, and its just as strong as ...arrrrggg," he cried out mid explanation as he received a kick to the back from the now up again double.

"Oh!" she looked chagrined. "Sorry!"
It did seem like the copy they were looking at was exact in every way. She threw a blow to try and get the copy to back off before getting a better idea. It had been a long time since she used her powers but now seemed like a good time. She wasn't sure what her knight powers were but she knew what they used to do.
"Back up." she cautioned. She wasn't sure what the boost was.
Taking hold of either end of her long garland she let her fingers thread through the metal symbols of earth bound to both sides. She felt the power of Earth welling up from the ground and in through her feet and up her body into the flowered vine. At about the same time large grasping, thorny vines started erupting from the Earth around the copy they were fighting. The vines moved up the double's legs with thorns sharp and ready to hurt. So long as his double didn't struggle, though, he was relatively safe.
"Well, he's not going anywhere. Now's your chance!"
She could only hold out so long with the magic but this being her first time with it who knew how long that would be, exactly. The thorns, those were new but at least the effect was the same. there was about a two foot circle around her victim of the same thorny vines but he could get close enough to strike if he had a weapon.
"Careful of walking on them."

He watched as Shalott threw a punch at the double and it seemed momentarily confused. Shang himself however was just grateful and at her words to back up he did so quickly. Though he hobbled slightly at first, he quickly straightened up and then took on a look of surprise at Shalott.
She was making thorny vines grow out of the ground and they were tangling themselves about the shades feet. The shade cried out in pain as it struggled against the vines, being cut by the thorns. He was so mesmerized by the scene Shalotts voice startled him a bit.
He nodded quickly at her words, but paused for a moment not quite sure what to do. This wasn't a youma and it looked just like him. Even if it was trying to kill him, killing it, ending it was something that weighed heavily on him.
Shang summoned his weapon concentrating on him magic and swung hard at the double. It tried to block but the movement caused the thorns to inflict more damage onto it and Shang managed to land his blow.
He looked torn as the magic took affect, turning his weapon now to be held like a sword and lunging it forward into the double chest and fallen down his head bowed feeling quite guilty. He was on his knees, but he saw the double sort of flicker and disappear. Shang's weapon falling to the ground beside him.

Shalott let the magic die down and without a target to hinder the vines disappeared relatively quickly. She picked up his weapon and handed it back to him, feeling very confused about what had just happened and hoping that this was not evil doppleganger week and there was a copy of herself or her husband running around that they'd have to put a stop to. That would beyond suck.
Of course if she knew there was a copy of her daughter on the loose bent on her destruction she'd have been freaking out a bit harder.
"What was that all about?"
She expected he would know and then noticed how guilty he looked. He'd essentially just killed himself. She supposed she could understand that. Her mama bear instincts kicked in and she put an arm around him, gently guiding him to somewhere he could sit down. Things were never easy in this gig, that's for sure.
"Shang, what happened? What was that?"
She'd been busy at home sleeping for once since her daughter FINALLY decided she was willing to sleep on her father's shoulder. Getting an infant to sleep through the night was not an easy task. Still, she missed and Tony missed the lunar eclipse which now was probably a good thing.
"Are you alright?"

He looked up slightly watching as the wines disappeared, before taking the weapon that was handing back to him and feeling even worse looking at it. He looked up a Shalott's voice and climbed to his feet holding his weapon loosely in his hands. He didn't even get the chance to answers before there was an arm around him and he was being guided to sit down.
He sighed heavily, "it was. Well I'm not to sure what it was, but it had my face and my magic. That guy, whoever he was has been chasing me for four nights and as much as I wanted to try to wait it out I also wanted to try to find out where he came from."
He nodded when Shalott asked if he was okay, a lie, but he didn't want to worry her to much. He shuddered lightly despite what he said and looked up to the sky, "up there he," he stated. His eyes were on the eclipsed moon, "all this started with that. It's on the news, a lunar eclipse shouldn't last for 4 days I'm sure. We all know that."
Shang fiddled with his weapon looking at it guilty for a moment before releasing it back to where ever it went when he wasn't carrying it.

"Yes, that's out of the ordinary."
Shalott looked up and shuddered. She'd been doing her best to ignore it since it didn't provide any immediate problems in her purview but now that she saw this she sighed. There was always going to be something new to fight and that sucked. The older knight was getting perhaps a little cynical in her old age and was trying, however unsuccessfully, to be hands off in the violence department. Though, this had seemed serious enough for her to want to step in.
"So it has something to do with the eclipse. It looked like you, that's odd. Normally they don't copy us, do they?"
Now the idea that there was an identical Shalott or Camelot running around was starting to make her panic a little. That was a lot of power to try to counteract. This was not a good thing, just one in a long line of bizarre things that tended to happen in Destiny City. She made a mental note to talk to Tony about it when she got home. It was possible they'd need to team up on this if they had their own shadows to deal with.
"Do you remember how it started? Anything unusual?"

Shang nodded still trying to put out of his mind the violent act he just comment with his weapon which was a symbol of healing. He shoved the feeling further down, now wasn't the time to deal with it. He looked to Shalott not really knowing how to answer the first question. He wasn't sure, from what he knew from Maia people weren't copied, but he'd still only been doing this for a short time, compared to most.
He settled for, "I don't think so. I'm honestly not sure. Never seen anything like this not even on the news and we don't seem to be the only ones effected. Both side and civilians."
Shang thought about it for a minute, trying to remember details from the past 4 night before he remember. "At the eclispe party, did you go? Sparkly fluffs, like little fairies fell from the sky, they sort of disappeared after landing on you. Everyone seems awed by them, and no one new where they came from, but now one thought anything of it. Could that have something to do with it?"

"I didn't go. Neither did Camelot. We were home with our daughter."
Harmony had gone, though, and that thought made her blood run cold. Did her daughter have a copy of herself running around with murderous intentions? She didn't want to think about it and made a mental note to patrol more around the house and coffee shop where the girl worked. If anything was trying to hurt her baby girl she'd stop it cold.
"I don't know. I wish I did. Every time I think I've seen everything this city proves me wrong."
She laid a hand on Shang's shoulder to try and comfort him. It had to be hard to murder a copy of yourself no matter the reason why. It was something like facing your own mortality in a very graphic way she imagined, and didn't want to have to face that. She was glad she didn't go now. With an infant she was tired all the time, barely getting sleep let alone any alone time with her husband. Neither of them had been very sociable lately.
"Are you alright, Shang?"

Shang looked up at the words Shalott spoke having had no idea prior that she was married to or had a child with Camelot. "You're married to Camelot," he said a little in awe, partly in that he had no clue and partly in how small his world suddenly seemed. He met them separately only to find out that the pair were married.
He sighed at the answer given to the question he asked, but it couldn't be helped. Shalott hadn't even been there and from her response this seemed to be a knew thing entirely. And then there it was again the question she'd asked early, but he'd shaken off.
No. He wasn't alright, but should be really burden Shalott with those feelings. He settled for admitting, "I've had better days Shalott, much better days. To be honest I could use a break from all this for a couple days, but there are lot of other's having the same issues as I and I should try my best to help them. You don't think that thing will come back tomorrow do you?"
He frowned and groaned, he didn't know if he could take be chased around anymore. He definitely couldn't handle murdering himself again.

"Yes," she blushed, "I am. For just over a year now."
If it hadn't been for him she wouldn't be there now and she knew that without any doubt. Shalott forgot, however, that not everyone knew that they were involved. Was it breaking a rule to mention they were married with a child? She didn't see how the information could be used against her, especially not by Shang, and maybe he needed to know that there was life outside of this calling to be found. Taking his moon into consideration, she paused.
"Did you know I nearly quit being a knight?"
Right before she found out she was pregnant to a few months after the baby was born she'd decided to throw in the towel. It wasn't her proudest moment but she couldn't say she regretted the decision when she made it. She wanted to be honest with her fellow knight, though, just so he knew he was not alone.
"I was in a low place. I didn't want to fight anymore and I didn't like knowing that the people I was fighting by night could be friends or students I knew by day. I was worried about my husband and my children. I didn't want to be a part of a war without end."
Obviously she'd overcome those feelings if she was there with him now. She sighed to remember it all, how desperate she'd felt. How lost and confused she was about everything, especially herself.
"If you need time for yourself, take it. If you need someone to trust to talk to find someone. I can't tell you how helpful it's been for me to know that I have a partner that loves me and will support me no matter what I choose. That I can talk to about anything."
Not that she was telling him to get a girlfriend, mind you, but to have someone he could talk to about his knight and day life.
"I hope it doesn't come back but if it does let me know. I'll come and help again."

Shang was surprised by the couple, but after a moment he wasn't because he knew most of her sister's friends to be senshi and even her boyfriend was a page. It really wasn't surprising, but he was was sort of awed still.
When she asked if he knew she nearly quit he shook his head and listened as she explained nodding when she finished and told him to take a break if he needed it. He smiled at her feeling sort of relieve in a way, to basically be given permission. He knew himself, he likely wouldn't take a real break, but maybe a night or two. As soon as all this was over, hopefully it wouldn't last forever, didn't seem like a normal thing.
He listened to her speak, watching her before looking up to the sky. "I have my sister, Sailor Maia. I don't want to bring these sort of things to her, because she younger even though she's been doing this for several years now. Maybe I'm thinking about it wrong though. I wouldn't want her keeping things from me because we're in this together. She's stronger than I give her credit for."
He stood up, "Thank you Shalott. I really hope it doesn't come back, but if it does I will call you. Thanks for listening and talking to me. It means a lot. I should probably go find my sister now."ZaiaFantasy Sorry I'm eternally slow ... Fin?
