*~::Birthday Bash of the Fantastical, Bombastical Hiba!::~*Ladies and gentleman! Boys and girls! Children of all ages!
Allow me to welcome you to this once-in-a-lifetime (or is it once-a-year) event that is the day of birth of our beloved Hiba! Yes, there have been quite a few birthday celebrations, but none can compare to the magnitude and sheer Hiba-ness of the day of birth of a Hiba! That is why we all must celebrate! Celebrate as though our very lives depended upon the excess of our celebration! Let us remember fondly the days of our past and look forward to our futures! Let us revel in the present and the friendships that we have made! Let us revel in the unabashed Hibatastic Hiba that we've all come to know and love!
And each other as well! For what is a party without friends?
...By now, you're probably wondering just what in the Hell I'm driving at, so I'm going to break it down for you real simple...October 25th is the birthday of our beloved Guildmate, Hibarii chan, and as a special celebration to commemorate her time in the Guild and as a friend of ours, we're having a celebration to not only celebrate her...but all of you!
What does this celebration consist of, you ask? Great question! The answer is...anything you want!
This forum can be what you want it to be...a place to reflect on moments in the RP past that you love, moments involving our lovely Hibette...moments that you remember even now, years later!...or it can be a place to discuss ideas for our (hopefully) very Hibaful future! Make requests, let your desires for the future of the RP be known! Is there a Hibatastic character you wish to meet in the RP? Let it be known! Is there a scene you imagine that you would like to discuss with our Hiba? Shout it out loud, my friends!
Want to RP a little scene, or have one of our Hiba-controlled characters answer some questions for your own characters? Or questions that you, the RP'er, have? Ask away! ...This goes for other players too, of course...because for one night, and one night only, we are going to remember the good old days...and celebrate today, all in!
So come one, come all! Bring yourselves, your characters, your friends...just don't bring Minori's Shade, because she can be a bit of a party pooper!
...
The party will open officially at midnight tonight, so come on in and let the fun begin!
...
And on behalf of the Persona 4:FES - The Golden Guild and all of its members, I want to wish Hiba a very Happy Birthday!
~Arena Emperor

Soji Seta, Investigation Team Leader "Show me a hero, and I will write you a tragedy"It was an empty room, or at least devoid of any real human presence...devoid of sound, light, entertainment; fun was nonexistent in this space, this warehouse converted into something more closely resembling what would have been a rather adequate club were the lights on, the people present and partying. There was a bar, certainly, and it was stocked to the very brim with all sorts of beverages of every persuasion...alcoholic and non...and in the back there was a kitchen that could produce even the most exotic of dishes. There was a dance floor, a crystal ball, tables and booths for the more relaxed partygoers; the DJ booth that overlooked the club was set to play just about any tune the avid dancer could imagine, and several thousand more beyond. Even the walls were decorated with fluorescent lights of various neon colors, flashing blacklights, and decorations that would have made the most packed and popular of the Ikebukuro night clubs seem unimpressive by comparison. This was the sort of star power that the night's most important guest required, after all...and yet, despite all the fix-ups and decorations that had been gathered, all the preparations that had been made, there was something undeniably and inexplicably missing from this setting.
It was something that made the lights go on, the ball start rolling, the music start playing, the drinks start flowing, the people start showing, the dancers start electric-sliding, the booths start filling, the chatter start chattering, the DJ start playing, and even more than the above...it brought the place to life.
...
And then the door opened, both of the double doors at once, as if parting before the almighty will of God through the hands of Moses...and in the sudden roll of smoke and electric flashing lights behind him strolled the figure of a man.
...
His shoulders were broad, his expression steel...like the color of his hair, a steely, white-gray that made him near impossible not to recognize. His upturned collar and unbuttoned school jacket gave him the look of a high school rock star, and in many ways you could say that's exactly what he was...
...
With one step into the club he paused...and spread his arms wide, the snap of his fingers suddenly bringing to life the lights and the streamers, the bartender appeared behind the bar like magic, and the music began to bump with a thrumming bass that could be felt within the very bones...
...
One step inside, that's all it took. His lips curled into a smile, and smoky ash irises glinted behind pitch-black shades...that's right, he was cool enough even to pull of sunglasses inside the wild warehouse-turned club, because he was just that awesome!
...
Soji Seta had arrived...and the party could now start because of it.

Jo(shu) Michieru And W.Y.N.N.And as the silver haired swag-master had started into the room, a pair of black wings flapped down outside him, a green haired girl, a brown haired figure, and another silver haired girl, all holding various boxes. "We have arrived...and brought gifts.." WYNN called out, her older brother, and his friend with them. "I hope we are not tardy.""Nah, looks like the party's just getting started, right Kanade?" Jo(shu) called, wearing his Junes shirt underneath his coat, and turning to the silverette with him."Yes. It looks like we are early, if anything." Kanade called, glancing over their shoulder to see Soji Seta arriving, and preparing to make the night a night to remember. She hoped Minori would like her gifts, and the party in general, knowing her as a friend of Rednal's. Plus, she hadn't been to a party in a while....so, it could be fun."Well, a party's a party. I'll go get drinks." Jo(shu) called, starting off to gather it up. If they were going to do it, they were gonna do it right.WYNN nodded quietly, and walked with Kanade, taking in the scenery, before they started on anything in particular.

Suzume Kirihara Parties! Everybody loved them! But nobody could love them more than the petite brunette practically bouncing in excitement at the sight of the lights, the people and the festive air around the sophisticated club. It was an amazing place, with all those decorations, neon lights and fancy blacklights that made her white shirt glow...just the thought made her giggle in excitement. Big, brown eyes looked around, almost as if wanting to take everything in...to take a mental picture of this moment and keep it in mind for later, a bright smile curling the corner of her lips up. Yeah...she loved parties. Even more so if she was sharing the moment with the person she cared about the most.
"Oh! Oh! Look at that! And that shiny disco ball is sooo cool! Kinda makes you want to dance, huh? Oh! And what's that?!" Fingers pointed out everywhere, before this or that caught the girl's attention, making her to run over to the bar, some little decorations and some colorful drinks attracting her. It would be a long night... but, it was surely to be fun. And well... she'd enjoy it to its fullest!
The party was just starting, after all.

Soji Seta, Investigation Team Leader "Show me a hero, and I will write you a tragedy"Moments after the party began in earnest, the DJ's turntables began to pump out a solid dance beat...but rather than taking to the floor and being the first guinea pig to test out that little experiment in the warehouse-turned-club-turned-party setting, he turned his attention to the stage nearby in the space beside said jockey of discs and moved with the skill of a master to stand atop it. Looking out at those gathered, including a familiar Junes employee, a green-haired girl whose appearance gave him an inexplicable craving for sandwiches, and a blue-haired girl he was sure he had met before, he reached out his left hand as if waiting for something to fill it...and sure enough, a microphone from out of nowhere was thrust forward, caught within his grip as surely as the day was long. His lips curled into a smile, long arm flinging out to the side as if to draw attention to himself before he lowered his smile to the microphone and called out in an amplified voice that could be heard by all...
"Hellooooooo Inaba! Make some noise!" holding out the microphone to the assembled crowd of youngsters that had filed into the club, many of them notable figures from the school (such as the kid who slouched by the lockers at school, the lovestruck kid that stood outside of the second floor classrooms, and the girl who was fascinated by rumors of romantic entanglement from the first year's last year...and in return, the young people cheered ecstatically, already having a good time amidst the loud music, the wild dancing, and the readily-flowing drinks for any and all who came. And their apparently impromptu-appointed emcee's encouragement only prompted them to cheer louder, to dance harder...the very presence of the school's most infamous transfer student (save, perhaps, the literally infamous Zeo Kirijo) lending its weight in coolness to the proceedings. "We're going to have some fun tonight, and celebrate the birthday of one of our most beloved Seniors...you know her as the winner of this year's Miss Yasogami High Pageant...give it up for Minori Koroko!"
The cheers and catcalls only increased, many of the guys in the school having been secret fans of the girl's for some time...loving the idea of being in the house to celebrate the birthday with her like this.
"Now then, let's get down to business!" Soji added after the cheering began to subside, motioning with his hand to a curtain behind him on the stage...and as if magic it moved aside to reveal a stack of boxes behind him, all elegantly wrapped in pink and white paper, "While you're all bringing presents to Minori, I've taken the liberty of visiting Daidara and some of the other shops around town to prepare something special for you guys! ...But before you get all grabby, I'm not just going to GIVE these all away...you're going to have to earn them! So without any further ado..." His finger motioned to the big, empty dance floor in the center of the club...and on cue, as if he controlled every little thing in this club with his mind...a disco ball dropped just above the floor and began to glow and spin wildly!
"If you want to WIN one of these prizes, you're going to have to earn it...by competing in my contests! Starting with this one...a DANCE COMPETITION!" the Senior raised his arms and the crowd went wild, "You get one shot, to step on the floor and bust out your best move! The winner of the contest gets their hands on the first prize of the night! ...Ready? Set...DANCE!"Quote: Challenge 1! - Dance Off!Bust out your best dance move on the floor for a chance to win a prize! Describe your dance as you are doing it for extra points! Sai Sakurazaka, the Urban Legend of Oshu City "...You can trip as many times as you want; I will never let you fall..."There would be no stopping her. That much, he knew for sure.
There were too many brightly shining lights, colorful things all around the club, and too much fun being had everywhere you looked for Sai to imagine ever really keeping Suzu calmed down in a place like this. The best that he could hope to do was simply keep up with her, to keep an eye on her and make sure that she didn't get herself into any trouble by accidentally bumping into the wrong person or drinking the wrong things and getting drunk by accident...she was still underage, after all, and if she was as hyperactive sober as she was now...the thought of a tipsy, slurring Suzu (although not too different from a drowsy, drooling Suzu he imagined) was something that he didn't want to encounter if he could help it at all. He had enough trouble washing his shirts as it was. But really, when he got down to the heart of the matter, he didn't want to stop her from having a good time, either. Seeing those smiles of hers as she moved from the disco ball to the colorful decorations to the drinks at the bar and all of the other sights and sounds, they made the entire trip worth making...they made him feel just a little bit inside that maybe he was having fun, too. And fun was a feeling that had been wholly unfamiliar to him before her...just as he couldn't have imagined being happy, finding someone who could make him half as happy, as her. Which was why he found it hard to deny her anything, even coming down here for the club opening and the party for a girl he had yet to even meet, personally. But the party was open-invitation, and the club was something Suzu had been urging him to take her to see ever since she had spotted a picture of the inside online during the latter stages of its reconstruction. And it was a nice place...he had certainly seen rattier clubs than this in his time. Still, if they thought they could get him anywhere near a dance floor...
"Slow down, Suzume," his stern voice didn't have the same serious edge it normally did, but it still cut right through the loud music and the charismatic emcee to reach her ears and remind her that she might not fully enjoy anything if she tried to take it all in at once, "Start with one thing, then move on to another when you are finished. We've got all night to enjoy the club. All right?"

Jo(shu) Michieru And Kanade TachibanaKanade was a bit taken aback at Soji's request, calling out for a dance contest. "But I can't...." she started, before Jo(shu) moved down to the dance floor, and held out a hand to her. She stepped down quietly, taking a deep breath and exhaling, before the two ran out onto the dance floor, and moved parallel to each other.Jo(shu) took a few graceful steps to the side, alternating as he raised his hands to the sky, and let them gently flutter down like petals. Kanade raised her own arms at this, though she did a light twirl, spinning her body with it, coming to face Jo(shu). She let her hands move in a wave-like motion, still a little uneasy, but now facing Jo(shu) again. The two extended a hand to one another, as they seemed to prance around the dance floor, twirling in unison, and moving their hands up and around, inching ever closer to one another. They raised their arms diagonal to one another, before pulling back, turning and twirling more about, spinning around, and walking, ever parallel to one another, like reflections in a mirror. Eventually, Kanade twirled again, moving a bit away from Jo(shu), who started to pose with his hands, and then twirl around, like he was spinning a slight weapon. He gestured to the left, and then to the right, before swinging his arm as if holding a sword, and slashing through the brush. Soon enough, he did pull out his Renki-dama, and started to pose with it, mirroring the movements he had performed recently, with a warrior's ferocity in his eyes as he focused on the battles he had won with that very weapon. Kanade pulled out a small raygun at this, and began shooting out a light spray of ice to make it resemble a fan. She Twirled around Jo(shu), staying clear of blade, and starting to lose herself in the movements. She fired a shot in the air, and then twirled back, firing another one to make a symbol in the sky, the bursts of ice forming a heart, as trademark of her magical girl form. After she slid it away, and Jo(shu) sheathed his Renki-dama, they moved back, starting to mirror one another again as they circled the dance floor, extending their arms, and waving about. They danced to a tune that was playing in both of their heads, in a strange, yet visually appeasing rhythm. After a few more movements, the two turned to one another, making eye contact, yet again. Kanade twirled with each step, inching closer to Jo(shu). Jo(shu) returned in kind, by gesturing towards her with his hands, and twirling with his own steps, closing the gap between them step by step, twirl by twirl. The two got close together, before they started to circle one another again, their hands extended as they kept pace, parallel to one another still as they moved, stopping once more, and mirroring the other's moves. They twirled a bit again, and posed towards one another, starting to inch ever closer yet again. As they got within arm's reach again, they moved around one another again as if taunting the audience with the idea of if they'd make contact, before they stopped midway through their flow. Jo(shu) took a slight knee as he held his hand out to Kanade, offering up the finale. Kanade gracefully placed her hand on his, locking her fingers for the lightest of moments with his....before they let go softly, and turned, their own mental song ending, and opening up the floor to more competitors.

W.Y.N.N.WYNN herself started to move a bit after watching Jo(shu) and Kanade dance, slowly swaying from side to side. She hummed a slight tune, before the music started to pick up, and another, almost identical figure emerged behind her. "Allllllllllllllright, let's get this started!" Wynn called out, starting by thrusting her arm up in the air, lowering it for a bit, before raising it again slowly. She started to twirl, kick a bit, spin around, and gesture all over the disco hall, before turning back to back with WYNN, and the two starting to sing at something that she had seen on Jo(shu)'s computer. She constantly bounced on her feet, while WYNN did a slightly more subtle sway. The two mimicked one another's gestures, and they moved back and forth on the dance floor, looking more like a mirror image than the last pair had. While Wynn's movements were exaggerated a bit the way she gestured out, WYNN kept a subdued, but apparently practiced twirl and bounce, not once losing her balance, no matter what angle she seemed to move. She could mimic Wynn's movements at an instant, raising her hand to twirl with her, and after a fair portion of the song, WYNN even started singing along with her, starting to move her arms to and fro, her knees looking like they buckled as she moved, but she didn't fall, merely swirling about, while Wynn gestured at her chest, her shoulder, and all over her body with her hands, vigorously. However, around the end of the song, Wynn snapped her fingers down, and a burst of wind caused her to vanish like the wind. Not to be out-done, WYNN pulled out her own staff, and send out a surge of wind, allowing her to launch herself in the air a bit, doing a double backflip, before landing on her feet, and backing off the dance floor.

Soji Seta, Investigation Team Leader "Show me a hero, and I will write you a tragedy""Wow, they're really getting into the spirit of this thing..." the silver-haired Senior marveled from his place atop the stage, though he should have expected that some of his energy (and the promise of prizes) would rub off on the guys on the dance floor right now. With all of the pumping music, flashing lights, and rhythmic bumping and grinding going on down there, it was impossible to ignore the fun that the students of Yasogami and the others who had been invited to the shindig were most likely having. In fact...wait...? "Is that...the kid who kept asking me about that girl on the roof's hobbies...dancing with the girl from the roof? Seriously, he finally got the nerve?" Soji's tongue clicked in approval, though only half as much as he had to afford the dancing efforts of Wynn and WYNN, Shu and Kanade, and of course...wait...did Zeo just...?
...It was times like this, when even in the absence of crashing helicopters, psychotically subservient butlers, flashy displays of grandiose admiration, and misogynistic grandstanding on a level that even the most old-fashioned, and fantastically rich of 'gentlemen' could ever hope to match...Zeo could still stun him with his actions to the degree that he literally had no words to describe it...
Yes, it was moments like that when Soji wondered just what the Hell was wrong with his life...
...
But the moment passed just as soon as it had come, and while the dance-off continued, there were more contests to be held and prizes to be had!
"The dance contest is really heating up! But let's keep this party going! Plenty more prizes to win...and contests to take part in! Now then...remember those little packages you were given on the way in? No? Well you do now! Dig into them and find the three little tubes of paint we slipped into them when you weren't looking! Contest #2 begins now!" Soji smiled and pulled three tiny tubes of finger paint from his pockets and splotched a little onto one of his fingers, a silver streak suddenly tracing down the arc of his nose, "With the paint you received in the warehouse, choose somebody next to you on the floor and then paint the face of the person next to you! Choose your design, whatever you like...make them a puppy, a Maori warrior, or Gene Simmons! Just paint their face and show me the design, and you might be the next winner!"Quote: Challenge 2! - Paint Your Neighbor!Break out the finger paints and paint the face of someone here at the party with whatever design you like! The most unique and interesting design will receive one of the party's illustrious prizes! (Use Microsoft Paint, Photobucket, Photo Editor or whatever software you like to create an image of your chosen character's face, painted however you like! Don't focus too much on quality...just have fun! Upload your edited character face and post it here for a chance to win!)

Suzume Kirihara The head tilted slightly, the blue drink picking at her curiosity, before her attention was brought back by her companion. Brown eyes turned to meet crimson one, and the bright smile on her lips grew even brighter. "Mmhm! We have a lot of time to have fun! I think I want to try this-" A finger poked at the glass with blue liquid just as the silverette began speaking, challenging people for a dance off. "Daaaancing!" the girl bounced on her place, before taking the hands of her companion, and tugging gently, for him to come with her to the dance floor. "Come oooon, Sai! Let's dance." Of course...she knew it would be difficult to convince him, buuuut... she could at least try, yeah? "It will be fun! We could dance The Chicken Dance! Or The Robot! Or or or-"

"Hold up, Hold up, HOLD UP!" A voice had said as Zorc had dashed up into the dance floor, and barely skidded back off of it, and then regathered his bearings, or what little he had, and had gotten the music for his dance ready to start in a boom box (Where did that even come from?) and turned it up full blast. "Now lets git this party HYPE!" Zorc shouted as he then cued the music and it started blaring. Then, almost instinctively to the music, he started moving and dancing his body to the beat, moving both his legs and his arms animatedly. His entire heart was dancing to the beat. His dancing was very expressive, with hand motions included. His dance moved along the dance floor, almost everywhere, but still somehow centralized in the middle of the floor. Even his head was bobbing to the beat, smiling sincerely and honestly, strange for the impulsive and nearby-insane person. When the song was nearing it's end, Zorc had begun to rap it up, dancing much more subdued then before, and once the song hit it's high note at the end, he took his jacket off of his back, and threw it towards Soji, a strange gesture indeed, and moon-walked off the stage.
