Dimitri had to admit that his plan hadn't exactly been thought through very well. For someone that prided himself on his logic skills, approaching the obviously drunk man outside the club in order to berate him on how he treated his girlfriend wasn't particularly smart.
The girlfriend had received a few curse words and maybe a bruise on her upper arm, while Dimitri got shoved straight into a brick wall for trying to intervene. His glasses slid straight off his nose and clattered to the ground, making him instinctively bend to reach them. His back was promptly returned to the wall by another shove.
"You sir, are a bully!" He exclaimed as he lifted his hands to protect himself.
The man gave a nasty sneer. "Learn how to mind your own business, a*****e."

Ülane wasn't out at night too much anymore. With all the attacks that went down, and just how peculiar this city was overall, he found so much more comfort in his own home once night fell. Nothing was better than sitting back with his saxophone, jamming it out for a few hours before anything else bad could happen.
And yet here he was, strolling down the shady part of town, with a satchel full of papers that needed to be graded. Of COURSE tonight was parent teacher night, and they ran long.. It was times like these where he really really wished he had some sort of vehicle.. And that he didn't live in a weird part of town, so close to the clubs .. Well, that's what came with being the poor soon-to be teacher..
It seemed almost unreal. Right outside of a bar there was an large man, picking on someone who seemed to be about his age, but a little scrawy thing.. Tonight was just.. Just not his night.. Ülane wasn't about to let the guy get hurt.
In an instant, the young man was up on the large man, grabbing his arm and twisting it back, forcing him off of the blue-haired guy.
"Go home, man, you're drunk. Or do I have to get the cops involved?" Even now, as he held the man in a rather firm hold, his voice was quite, almost soft spoken. Looks were deceiving, though, for if this man made one wrong move, he'd be down on the ground in an instant.

"Bullies who hurt woman are my business." This wouldn't be the first punch to the face and Dimitri doubted it would be the last, so he merely braced himself with a grim smile. This was going to hurt. The bigger man went to raise his arm... and had it twisted away. Dimitri watched in surprise, his mouth a wide 'O' as an unknown factor took on his assailant. "Nah man," the drunk man murmured, face dark with anger, "we're good." His girlfriend had attached herself to his other arm and was attempting remove him from Ulane's grip. Dimitri took the chance to crouch and began scrambling on the ground for his glasses.

Oh gods, was he tired, and he thanked whichever one was listening for the fact that the man with the red face decided it would be best to just leave. And Ülane made sure to be very gentle about moving him as well. No need to be rough. Just needed things to go smoothly, and slowly.
"Here, let me help you.." Ahh, even his bones cried out as he kneeled down besides the scrambling blue haired one, picking up his glasses. He then took the man's hand, placing the pair of rims into his hand. Kinda nerdy ones, weren't they?
"Are you alright? You shouldn't go picking fights without the muscle or skill to back it up.."
Ruriska Aaah, sorry, my posts are kinda sucking! XD I'll sound better in the morning! eerr.. Once I get some sleep. XD

The man and his girlfriend took off down the street, with only a few backwards glances. Apparently the threat of police was enough to keep them away. "Thank you..." Dimitri took the glasses, quickly putting them back in place and finally getting a good look at his savior. With one finger still pressing his glasses in place, he smiled. "Yeah well, I couldn't just let him manhandle that girl like that. Did you see him? It was barbaric." He stood up, holding out a hand to take the other man up with him. he had to admit, with his lack of adequate vision, he'd rather imagined this guy to be a bit, well... more buff and less slick. Looks could be deceiving. "Oh, and that was fantastic. I wish I had moves like that."

"Sure thing. I can't just.. You know, see someone get beat down. There's enough bad things in the world, and to see something like this just isn't needed. I only came in seeing you about to get beat down.." Ulane couldn't exactly say that he saw the man hitting the woman, or being rough with anyone besides Dimitri, so he could not judge anyone right away. Only that this man could probably use some work in his self defense skills. With a smile back at the guy, he took his hand, getting up off of his knees and brushed the dirt away, reaching up to brush his hair back.
Oh. Right. There wasn't that much hair anymore.. After a recent run in with a senshi named Pomona, his once long, beautiful locks that had gone all the way to his knees had been burned off.. A subtle wince could be seen when he realized this and lowered his hand again. This was going to take some getting used to, that was for certain..
"Do you really? I've been doing Judo since I was thirteen. Granted, Judo isn't as.. Easy to bash in skulls like some other sports, but It gets the job done." Adjusting the bag on his shoulder, he gave the other another little nod.
"It's not too hard to learn, I think, so if you'd like some lessons, I wouldn't mind giving you a few in my spare time. Though between College, working as a student teacher, and weekends working in my parents craft shop.. Things can be a bit sporadic."

“Exactly!” Dimitri agreed with his saviour wholeheartedly, punctuating his words with a finger. “The problem with people is that they never try to help anyone else out.” He had made it his mission to step into those sorts of situations, saving damsels in distress and giving bullies what they deserved (which was usually just a good talking to and a new punching bag). He was nodding eagerly as the other man explained. How different would his life be if he’d taken up some sort of sports instead of burying himself straight into books? Well, he’d probably have a girlfriend… but then he wouldn’t really have been himself. “I won’t be any good at it, but maybe if I got a couple of moves. A few immobilizing techniques to surprise my enemies!” Dimitri grinned. “So if you really mean it, I’ll take you up on that offer. Wait, you’re going to be a teacher? That’s pretty awesome. What will you specialise in? Please say physics."

"That is true.. But picking the wrong battles can lead to more losses than wins. There's no real.. Uh.. No real victory in trying if you land yourself in a hospital." That made sense, right? He brought a hand up to adjust the shoulder strap on his bag oddly in a slight distraction to himself. This man was eager, yes, but a bit foolish. No matter, if he wanted to be the protector, let him. Even so, Ulane wasn't about to let him go about unguarded. Maybe this man needed his own protector, and though the teacher wasn't exactly a white knight, that didn't mean he couldn't watch from the shadows.
"I'm a music teacher, sorry. Physics is an important part of music, though, so don't get me wrong, it's pretty fantastic. " He grinned back at the man, before looking a bit more serious, shaking his head at the man's self doubt.
"Don't think you won't be good at it. Even the smallest person can make a giant crumble if they know how. It's very much all physics, and if you understand that, then you can bring anyone to their knees. The body has several weak points, most of which can be easily accessed. But at the same time, I'm hesitant to teach you anything. Gah, it sounds rude, but you sound as if once you learn, you'll be out and about trying to risk your neck for everyone. And as noble as that sounds, I don't want to be the cause of you being in the hospital."

“Oh sure, I’m not stupid. I don’t do this looking to put myself in harms way. Usually I’m a lot more careful, but you know, sometimes you have to throw caution to the wind and be of assistance.” His gaze was drawn to the bag that the other man kept shifting and he blinked… wait, where was his bag? Had he lost it? It had his text books in it! If he lost it he would… oh, it’s right there by his feet, where he’d dropped it earlier. Dimitri was temporarily distracted by the drama going on his head as he picked up the heavy backpack and then placed it back down again. “Sorry… anyway, yes, I know, momentum = mass x velocity and all that.” He pushed his glasses up again. It’s just, well; even with that in mind, one has to admit that physical ability does have some bearing.” He chuckled, presuming the other guy had simply changed his mind about teaching a stranger. “I’m not some wannabe Kick-a**. But I get it, you just met me, it’s all good.” He crouched and began rummaging through his bag in search of his phone. “My name is Dimitri.”

"Ah, no no no, I don't think you understand me, It's more like.. Oh, no, I don't know.. I'm worried for you. Yes, we did just meet, but at the same time, from what I can tell by what you've been saying is that you'll go ahead and poke your head into anything that you deem wrong. Not that that's entirely a bad thing! Not at all! The world needs more proactive people like you, I'd think. Maybe it all means that I need to take some time to get to know you better." His brain was slowly becoming more frazzled, if only because he was trying to dance around his words without saying anything that could be offensive.
"I'm Ulane. It's a pleasure to meet you, Dimitri. If you don't mind my asking, why are you in this part of town anyway? It doesn't exactly look like your scene. " But who was he to say anything, with his own business casual wear and school bag. The only reason he was here was because the path back to his home that he normally took was offlimits now. After all, parks were supposedly 'dangerous' at night.

“Not everything,” Dimitri disagreed, but he did have to admit, he did get himself into a lot of unnecessarily unfortunate situations. He lifted his hands in the air and waved them a bit. “No, it’s really okay. Don’t worry about it.” Another quick rummage in his bag and he finally pulled his phone out with a triumphant, ‘aha!’. “Ulane. What is that, Polish?” Dimitri stood with a grin. “I do love the club scene…” he let that sentence hang for a moment before continuing, “my local chess club is located just around the corner from here and as vice-captain I was required to attend for an important meeting. Honestly though, this probably isn't the best location for it…” Now he checked his phone, or more importantly, the time. “Aaah,” he groaned, “I missed my bus.”

"Alright then, if you insist." The teacher nodded, curiously watching as Dimitri continued to go about his bag. if whatever he was looking for was lost within it, maybe it would have been smart to leave it in his pocket. Then again, if he had gotten into a worse fight than thatone was, perhaps it would have been broken.
"It's Estonian. I've been in America long enough that I don't really have the accent anymore, but I was born and raised there for the most part." Ulane loved to talk about his country, beening so very proud of the little Baltic nation! Any of his students could attest to that as being a fact.
"Ah, yes.. That makes far more sense." It was kinda funny to imagine this guy dancing at the club! The only moves that came to mind were things like the funky chicken, or maybe the Dinosaur, Which caused Ulane to chuckle.
"That's unfortunate. I'd offer you a ride, but I don't have a vehicle of my own seeing as my place is a few blocks away. If you'd like, I could stay here with you for a while, incase that scoundrel comes back. Or maybe even walk with you back to somewhere safe, if it's not all that far. When is the Next bus?"

“Oh nice,” Dimitri grinned. “My family is originally from Greece, but I was born here.” He had never even been there, with either money or just not enough time always getting in the way. But one day he’d make a point to go... and maybe fix the economy while he was there. The blue-haired man scratched his nose as he flicked through the screens on his phone. “Next one is in an hour and a half. It’s not so bad. I just really wanted to get a good sleep tonight. There’s a test tomorrow you see… and I need my sleep.” He gave his own hair an anxious ruffle. “Aaah, damn you chess and your unstoppable lure.” With a sigh he shook his head at Ulane. “Don’t worry. I don’t need a chaperone and I don’t have time to try save anyone else tonight. You can go home.” It had been nice of him to ask though.

"Greece.. I heard it was a lovely country with lovely food and lovely people!" He recalled traveling about Europe when he was just a child with his mother and father. Oh, but that was years and years ago!
"Well, I wish I could help get you home faster, but.. Alas, I cannot. There's enough time to grab a quick cup of tea, right? Or do you really just want me to go ahead and leave?"

"Well, if you're not in a hurry, tea sounds nice." That should help calm his nerves at least. Dimitri had never been very good at waiting. "There's a nice place just around the corner. They're open late."
