"My voice; a beacon in the night // My words will be your light // To carry you to me."

Tribe for those who cherish the ability to live.
We are healers at heart.

Tribe Rulesxxxxxxxxxxx
No fighting! Absolutely none. This means physical and verbal. While the tribe understands that tiff's will happen here and there it does not mean they need to escalate into a fight. The tribe believes in peacefully resolving things, and if this is not possible then you need to simply admit this fact and move on.
Only the Elder can speak to the Deities or pray to them. While an informal prayer is okay, members cannot travel to the worshipping locations and attempt to formally pray to the Higher Beings. That is only for the Elder to do.
Any member who mates with an outsider must speak to Elder before life-mating. Mating outside the tribe is usually permitted, but the Elder needs to make sure both partners know what they are getting themselves into before they take this plunge.
Betrayal, severe violence against members/outsiders, or endangerment of tribe can result in banishment.
Foxes born in tribe who wish to leave must wait until adulthood then speak to Elder.
The Elders word is law.

RP Rulesxxxxxxxxxxx
Be at least semi-literature. This means no chat speak, noob speak, or such. Proper grammar and spelling is loved.
Be respectful of other RPers or you will be asked to leave. This is supposed to be fun!
You must speak to Yushika before life-mating out of tribe or leaving tribe.
Talk to Yushika if you want any plotted drama, just to make sure things are good. However, keep all OOC drama out.
No godmoding. Seriously.

Aboutxxxxxxxxxxx
xxxx The Yasashii Tribe are known for being warm and embracing. The tribe dwells by a ocean, having once lived in the mountains but changing locations when the tribe realized others would have trouble approaching their home.

xxxx The tribe is known for their usage of herbs, making medicines. Their tribe is located among an area where very rare and seemingly only local herbs are present. Due to this, Yasashii has an advantage with herbs that some tribes do not. The tribe makes strong medicines. The tribe is often approached much like a fox hospital, foxes that do not belong to a tribe and have no way to heal themselves often approach this place for free help that has no strings attached. Yasashii helps and never forces a fox to repay them.

xxxx The tribe is hardly strict at all, and yet the members are very talented in their skills and always on point with their duties. The tribe accepts any members, whether they have a bad past or seen bad by others. Yasashii believes in acceptance, and as long as you arrive at Yasashii with a willingness to be a part of the community (and in a positive light) then they are welcomed lovingly. However, if a fox commits an act of violence they can and most likely will face a severe punishment. Yasashii attempts to avoid banishment, however multiple acts of violence will cause the fox to be sent away for good.

xxxx They open their home to foxes who belong to no tribe and don't ever want to, allowing foxes to settle with them until they are ready to leave. If a fox is found unhealthy they will heal them within days and let them return to the wilderness they so love. Homeless children are often kept here and raised until they are old enough to make their life their own. Honestly, the tribe accepts anyone and requires no payment or service in return.

xxxx Basically, the tribe serves as a hospital and sometimes a home to those who need it. They are accepting, though not blind to the fact that not all of the world is as kind as they are. Mostly made of extremely skilled healers, violence is prohibited and the punishment is usually severe. The tribe is one of love and healing.

Deityxxxxxxxxxxx
Dahlia, 'Deity of Healing

xxxxThe tribe worships the Higher Being, Dahlia, the Modeity of Healing. Yasashii believes in reincarnation, that life goes on and is reborn, and believes Dahlia is the rebirth of a fox that once protected Yasashii's lands long ago, or so the stories say. However, this isn't true, but the tribe still loves this story and exchanges it among themselves and are not aware of the fact that the Higher Being is in fact not the fox of olden days.

xxxx Dahlia often assists the Elder, loving to help the Elder when she prays to her. Dahlia will leave herbs the tribe needs often outside the path to the campground, trying to pretend she didn't when the Elder questions her. In fact, she has a light and airy personality, sweet and humorous, she sometimes will arrange sticks into images for the tribe to see when they wake. Though, she can become serious when the Elder needs her and often will help the Elder sort out their problems.

All Year Eventsxxxxxxxxxxx
Growing Up Ceremony: A kit has grown and now chooses if they wish to stay in the tribe or leave. A job is given to the now grown adult and a mentor is assigned to the new member to help teach them how to thrive within their job. A feast often follows.
Silence Ceremony: A death is always met with mourning, and a funeral is the least the tribe could do. The foxes gather and bury the deceased. Foxes are allowed to step up and speak what they wish, but after this brief ceremony the day is followed with complete silence. Not a word is spoken until the sun raises for the new day.

Spring Holidaysxxxxxxxxxxx
Fools Day: First day of April is spent tricking one another and laughing as others fall into pranks! Nothing malicious or harmful is allowed.
Parents Day: Combination of Father and Mother's Day, children, whether adults or not, of other foxes pay their respects to their parents. Some may travel to see parents. Foxes with parents in the tribe are encouraged to spend the day doing their parents chores and making their parents comfortable and happy.

Summer Holidaysxxxxxxxxxxx
Ancient Ritual: A group of foxes leave the tribe for seven days and travel together. They split when the Elder sees it fit, and must return back home on the seventh day with a herb. The trip can be done for any reason a fox seeks fit, whether it be to prove independence in a fox or just to experience bliss in being alone.

Fall Holidaysxxxxxxxxxxx
Tricks Day: (Halloween) The forest doesn't offer much for spooks, but the tribe tries! Volunteers set up decorations and hides within the woods to spook tribemembers who explore during the night. Kits are encouraged to ask for treats and even dress up if the tribe can find anything to do so! Berries are crushed and used as paint to decorate faces. It's a night of playful terror and giggles. A game of hide-and-seek is extremely popular among the foxes, and usually those who are the seeker and win get a present.

Winter Holidaysxxxxxxxxxxx
Families Gathering: (Christmas) An event of love and joy. The tribe sends children off to play while the adults begin to prepare a feast. When the sun sets the tribe is brought together to eat and exchange presents, whether a physical or emotional one.
New Years: The morning is spent gathering the tribe up and making sure any members who left for Christmas to see their family have returned. Everyone collects together and, again, feasts. The tribe sleeps together after an evening of celebration and joy.
Day of Reflection: At the beginning of the year, the members gather herbs and berries, but not kill. Day of Reflection is a day where no life is taken. At night, everyone groups together and reflect on the year before and state what they wish to achieve in this new year. Before they turn in for bed, the group have a joint prayer led by the Elder praying for a good year.
Beloved Day: (Valentines) A day where foxes who have a beloved or is crushing on another fox will bring a special herb called the Heart Herb. It is red and shaped peculiarly like a heart, and very hard to find.

Pastxxxxxxxxxxx
xxxx It all started with a barely grown modifox. She had been traveling for a while, having left her home because she started to feel as if she was a burden. She was too gentle, too peaceful and too quiet. She did not fit in with the others much, so she had left while promising to visit.

xxxx She hadn’t been prepared, insisting she go by herself because she didn’t wish to drag others down. Upon her travels she began to climb a mountain during winter, her soft paws not yet tough from walking on them constantly and aching, and her still kit soft fur to thin to protect her. She grew ill quickly and began to starve, the winter being harsh and destroying anything that could provide her food.

xxxx Eventually, on a day that would surely have been her last had things not played out as they did, she stumbled upon a trail that somehow had not been buried by the thick snow. She followed it weakly, collapsing right as she saw a series of caves. When she woke up she was inside a cave, a fire burning inside the middle and fresh killed splayed out in front of her. Though bewildered she was trusting and ate the kill, warming herself by the fire. She left to find water, finding it in a pond nearby and returning to the cave. Each day she woke up there would be a fire and fresh kill for her, one night even berries.

xxxx During the last night Kithara felt a strange sensation fall over her. Lured by this feeling, Kithara left the area she was being held, searching longingly for the source. When she fell asleep she'd dream of golden foxes and a blurry tribe.

xxxx After what seemed to be a week she was greeted by an older fox. He told her of a story of the old tribe that once stood there. He told her that it was time for the tribe to be risen once more, and that he was searching for that one fox to take over the olden tribe. His great-great-great grandfather had once been a part of that very tribe, and had passed the story down throughout the generations. He turned to Kithara and told the vixen that he believed she was the one. Kithara resisted this idea, not finding herself fit to lead a group of foxes. How could she when she had left her home solely because she did not fit in? Panic-stricken, Kithara left the old mans home, and wandered upon Kea.

xxxx Kea spoke wise words to the vixen. Inspired by the Elder, Kithara realized that the way Kea's tribe loved her, and the way Kea watched over them like a protecting mother, well, she wanted that. When Kithara returned to the old man he asked her if she was prepared to become the Elder of the olden Yasashii tribe. Nervous but certain, Kithara agreed.

xxxx She would become the new Elder.

xxxx Time passed, and the Elder and tribe faced many hardships. Members came and went, drama arrived, and eventually a silence hit the tribe. It seemed hopeless, at first, but then a blessing came! Boniface and Embry brought six little joys to the tribe, and spirits were raised. The first kits to ever be born in the tribe, and each one was beautiful and healthy. The tribe finally perked up, and life returned!

Presentxxxxxxxxxxx
xxxx There's been talk about meeting another tribe sometime soon. Foxes are mating, trying to have kids, and generally just enjoying life. Currently, it seems winter is coming!

Path: Large, it goes through the mountains straight to the campground by the ocean. It is often cleaned by scouts to ensure no one injures themselves.
Holding Den: On the edge of Kirameki Lake, injured or sick foxes are settled inside the cave so that they can reach water whenever they wish. These foxes are often guarded by a hunter nearby or the Elder themselves.
Kirameki Lake: A lake where the tribe gets water from, it is at the bottom of the mountain and connected to the path.
Reiki Ocean: A ocean that can help heal infected wounds. The path connects to it and so does the tunnels underground.
Campground: A field where flowers are everywhere and it smells like flowers, even when winter comes. During the warmer seasons the tribe gathers and sleeps right in the fields.
Underground Campground: The cave that the foxes live in during the colder seasons, and during bad weather. There are several tunnels that crawl around the mountain, making quick travel very easy. One tunnel leads straight to the Creation Center. However, this tunnel is extremely difficult to navigate through unless you are a trained Yasashii member.
Creation Center: A secret area where the tribe goes to create medicines, store ingredients and inventions. If someone needs something a fox can easily slip here and navigate the treasures. Though, it is almost impossible to raid, the items hidden in a particular fashion only the tribe understands.

Tattoosxxxxxxxxxxx
xxxx The tribe tattoo can be any color or any size, and placed anywhere, as long as it is visible. Other tattoo's are allowed, as well, they just cannot cover the tribe tattoo.

Piercingsxxxxxxxxxxx
xxxx Piercings can be anything. It's generally preferred a fox gets the tattoo but if they really don't want to you can get a piercing with the tattoo as a jewel. Foxes can have any piercing they want in any color on their body.

Elder: Kithara
Guardians: Amalia, Ari'el
Shamans: Iah, Voltaire, Champagne, Naoto
Carers: Amy, Embry, Nigori
Hunters: Nitya, Catalina, Chardonnay, Akito
Scouts: Poko, Nora, Amatersu
Gatherers: Akela, Tenma
Members: Sugar, Boniface, Vidal, Remus, Lucille, Eliane

Rank Definitionsxxxxxxxxxxx
Elder: Leader, boss, the main say. The fox possessing this role must be able to keep the tribe strong. Their first priority is the tribe, whether or not circumstances come up. Only the Elder can pray to the deities.
Guardians: Special beings who protect the tribe. They are a peculiar species who are solely devoted to the tribe itself.
Shamans: Healers, medics, kind of like doctors. While the entire tribe is centered around healing the shamans main job is only to heal. They are the cream of the crop, the best healers. They make sure all herbs brought in are safe, they are the first to attend to the sick, and they hold the most responsibility over the herbs, injured, and sick. They are expected to be the best.
Carers: Carers are like babysitters, but more important. They take care of kits and take the responsibility of training them and helping them either discover what they wish to become within the tribe or gently nudge them on the right path. Carers must always be with the kits at all times when children are born, however parents are allowed to be near their children and play with them. Carers are more in-tune with BCRs and can sense basic needs and wants from BCRs and children.
Hunters: Blessed with heightened senses when they take the job. They hunt mostly and serve as protectors if the time comes for them. They are usually considered the "guards", next to the guardians, and are expected to possess physical strength but only use it for hunting and protection.
Gatherers: Quick on their feet, they collect materials, herbs, and berries. They also have been known to assist hunters if the time comes, and they help bring shamans their herbs.
Scouts: They have extremely good navigational skills and almost never get lost. They send messages to other tribes when need be. They are the best foxes to have lead anyone around and can always find their way. Scouts patrol the territories and bring strangers to the tribe if need be. Due to their duty to bring strangers into the tribe they must be able to discern if a fox is too dangerous to bring home or not.
Members: Foxes who dabble in all tasks except Elder. They haven't decided on a set skill and prefer to help when they can. They are called to help when someone needs assistance and are basically an extra set of hands.

Accepted Personalitiesxxxxxxxxxxx
Anyone who can contribute to the tribe somehow. Almost all personalities are accepted except foxes who are violent, evil, or violently insane.
Basically, if the fox can contribute to the tribe and genuinely want to be a positive member then they can join. Even foxes who are questionable in nature can be accepted as long as they truly mean they will love and protect the tribe.
