Body Type & Height: Legolas has been describd by many as being as tall as a young tree, lithe, and immensely strong. While not quite as tall as his father, he is by no means short, standing at 5' 10".
Overall Appearance: Legolas gets most of his looks from his father. Sharing almost the same facial structure, Legolas' face is a bit softer than his father's, giving him a young look. He stands tall and proud, as a prince should, and his entire being seems to simply glow with radiance. For clothing, Legolas usually is seen wearing greens and browns, to help blend in with the surrounding forests.

Personality: Like all elves, Legolas has a great respect and appreciation for nature. He is kind and cares greatly for his friends. Due to his age, however, he seems rather patronizing towards the mortals around him.
Aspirations: Although he is still young, Legolas is already striving to become the king his people need and expect him to be. He trains and practices every day, making sure he is strong enough to face the challenges ahead. The one thing he really strives for is making his father proud.
Strengths: Being an elf, Legolas is gifted with many of their traits, such as excellent hearing and keen eyesight. He is also swift, while at the same time being graceful. He is an expert bowman and fighter with quick reflexes to match. Being an elf, he is also immortal, and will not die of old age or disease. He is also mostly immune to the elements and is light footed, walking on top of snow instead of stepping in it.
Weakness: Although he is immortal, Legolas can still be killed. He can be slain in battle or he can die of a broken heart. Even though he is a skilled fighter, Legolas prefers to fight from a distance, bringing down his enemies before they can spot him. This could lead to successful sneak attacks if one is careful. Legolas also cares a great deal for his family and friends and would do anything to protect them.
Fears: While dying is not at the top of the list, Legolas' greatest fear is disappointing his father. He knows what is expected of him and is afraid of falling short. While disappointing his father is number one, letting his friends down is close behind.

Weapons: Legolas carries on his person a finely crafted long bow and a quiver of arrows. He also carries 2 elven crafted long knives, which he uses in close combat, both of which were gifted to him from his mother.

History: Legolas was born to Thranduil and Silmarië. They grew together as a family, possibly one of the strongest family bonds in all of Mirkwood. Legolas loved spending time with his mother among the forest and would often follow her around when she would go out. This turned to tragedy one day when a rabble of orcs attacked the forest. Legolas, still being only a small child at the time, ran to hide while his mother protected him. By the end of the assault, the orcs were driven out, but it cost his mother her life.
Legolas has grown being overprotected by his father. While he understands his reasons, he grows tired of his overbearing and always tries to find ways to sneak off and do things on his own. He has become an expert bowman and a fine warrior, doing his best to make his father proud.

RP Sample: An arrow flew silently through the air, burying itself into the back of the spider, drawing a dying shriek from the creature as it curled in on itself. A young elf with flowing blonde hair dropped down from a tree, placing his bow back over his shoulder and walking over to the dead creature. A small party of elves clad in armor joined him, as he pulled the arrow from its back.
"This is the forth spider today, my prince" one said, looking down on the dead spider, "they are moving rapidly." Legolas looked towards the soldier before he looked over the dead spider. "The darkness is spreading....claiming more and more of our forests" he answered. They had all been fighting this rushing darkness for years now, trying to push it back to the boarders. For a while, they had kept it contained, keeping it back around the outer limits...but lately, it had been spreading so rapidly, they could not even manage that.
"Come, let us return. We must document how far this evil has moved" Legolas said, cleaning the arrow before placing it back into his quiver. He would leave the soldiers to document the movement on the map, he would go and talk to his father.
