Gender: Female
Body Type & Height: Lothuial is slender as most females are, leaving her with a very slender body compared to mortal women. Slender and soft arms and legs with a long torso gives her the appearance of a wisp of a lady. Lothuial stands at 5'8".
Overall Appearance: Lothuial is very sweet and innocent looking, and right she is since she is still a virgin. Her face is sweet and soft, and her eyes tell of an older intelligence than her physical looks give off. She always wears very high quality finery from various cultures since that is her interest. Then again, Lothuial has been known to cross dress as a boy to sneak way from Rivendell.
Face Claim Natalie Portman
Hair Color & Appearance: Her hair is long, reaching down to her knees in a flow of ringlets and curls when let down, and is well kept. It's dark brown color frames her pale skin wonderfully. Usually Lothuial keeps her hair up or hanging down to her back, usually always in some elaborate style.
Eye Color: Lothuial has a shocking eye color compared to her father's; her eyes are green as the deep woods rich with life in the Spring. This color is wildly rare among elves, near impossible even. This is mostly due to recessive human genes emerging.

Aspirations: Her life goal is to experience other cultures and to be accepted by them, build bridges between different races and people and help lead the world into a continued era of peace. Also to meet a very attractive man/elf, fall in love, and marry him. Also to stop being a huge klutz and be as graceful as any elf.
Strengths: Lothuial is headstrong and kind, loyal to a fault, and protective of her friends. She may be weak but that won;t stop her from trying all she can to defend someone she finds innocent. She believes in what in right and just and won't stand being lied to or being deceived. Her desire to be better and to bridge gaps between others is always a strength in her eyes.
Weakness: Lothuial is a huge klutz, by no small means. From stepping on the hems of her gowns and face planting to the floor, to falling from the entrance bridge into Rivendell and down into the waters below when she was younger. She tries hard to be better but thing just seem to keep happening against her wishes and careful actions. Lothuial lacks a certain confidence in herself because of this. She isn't like all the others her age or any of the women and this lowers her self-esteem. Having to be constantly helped and being embarrassed doesn't help at all. She is ashamed of herself and how clumsy she is. Lothuial is also terribly curious and hardheaded for her own good. She longs to explore and have great adventures away from home, even going so far as to run off several times, disobey orders, and on top of all that, Lothuial gets carried away in these 'fantasies' and often gets too lost to get back home without help. She's a young elf with her head in the clouds.
Fears: Being made fun of, or talked down to, being spoken about in a bad manner. Lothuial is afraid she has not lived up the the expectations of perfection that her parents hold and what those around her expect of her. She is also afraid of: Orcs, goblins, trolls, snakes, and spiders. Due to an incident when she was young she is afraid of heights, falling, and drowning.

Weapons: Lothuial isn't exactly... the best weapons expert... more along the lines of just for her personal protection and even that is pushing it. She one had a bow with her at all times but when an unfortunate arrow went errant and landed in Glorfindel's hide quarters, it was decided to be best left in her room.
Sicilril ('Sicilril' (Glittering Dagger) A smooth and light silver rose dagger, given to her by her father Elladan, to be worn at all times. Cúlalmë (Cúlalmë (Crescent of Elm) A white bow of Lothlorien origin given to her by her Uncle Elrohir, Lord of Lothlorien. Paired with a Quiver. Silmacil (Silmacil (Shining White Sword) An elven sword of silver and gold tone with a glossy wooden and gold handle. Never used. Due to her clumsiness, this sword is more of a decoration for her room.
TRANSPORTATION: Lothuial has her own horse to use on long journeys and can even ask her Great Eagle friend for help in dire times.
Rivorn (Rivorn (Black Crown) A pure black stallion chosen by her from her father's stable, this horse is not bulky but sleek and speedy. He is adamant and picky, only liking to do certain things or eating certain things (he loves carrots). Since Lothuial raised him since he was a foal, he is protective of her, even possessive. He often misbehaves and demands attention, more than once he had broken out of the stables to find Lothuial or to get carrots.
Thoronwë (Thoronwë (Eagle Being) A young Great Eagle, male. He is very fast and has a beak and talons sharper than any blade. (Played by a Golden Eagle)
Abilities: Being the great-grand-daughter of Galadriel some powerful blood still flows through her showing up in the form of cryptic dreams and flashes of events to come. These are always hazy and if her dreams are not written down soon after waking, they are forgotten. Some of these visions come true, while others are just possibilities and are changed by actions.
Lothuial sometimes has the aid of a Great Eagle that she had befriended in her younger years when she fell from the bridge in Rivendell. During an adventure outside of Rivendell (meaning she snuck out), Lothuial was attacked by a few scouting orcs who chased her to a cliff. As she fell, Lothuial was saved by a young Great Eagle who then took her back to Rivendell. He visits Rivendell often to be around Lothuial. He gave her a special reed whistle that sounds silent when blown, but is clearly distinctive sound for Lothuial's friend. It is by no means at her beck and call, but instead is a single use favor for if he is nearby and only in dire need, for after it is used it will break.

History: Lady Lothuial was born to Lord Elladan of Rivendell and Lady Ameniel of the Far East on May 1, T.A. 2852. From her birth, Lothuial was well taken care of and as her body and mind grew, both Elladan and Ameniel got to know the joy of having their own child and even the pros and cons of raising another and having a married life together while ruling over Rivendell. With the wise Erestor teaching the young girl history and general studies that all elven kind got to learn, Lothuial was sure to be a young lady to rival her aunt Arwen perhaps even her great-grandmother Galadriel.
That was proven wrong when it was discovered through the young Lothuial's behavior and clumsiness. While most wanted to learn and have adventures hand in hand, Lothuial wanted only to have adventures. Her mind easily forgot things that she was being taught, much to Erestor's dismay and frustration. More often than not, Lothuial would have escaped her lesson by some means and wound up running after butterflies in a garden or sneaking around and exploring. Young Lothuial was certainly a handful for anyone.
One noticeable event of her youth was her meeting of Thoronwë, a juvenile Great Eagle visiting Rivendell. Young Lothuial had been watching the skies as he had soared overhead while paying no mind to where she had been walking and simply stepped right off the bridge into Rivendell. Seeing the girl falling because of her observance of him flying, he dived inward and saved her from the rapid water beneath and brought her over to the solid ground next to the bridge. From that moment on she and Thoronwë became friends. Lothuial giving him a gift of a hair ribbon to be tied to his foot to remind him of her, and Thoronwë gave her a special reed whistle for her in her most dire of circumstances. He warned her though, that he might not be in the area when she blows the whistle and that it had only one use for it, but if he was near and could help his friend out, then he would come.
The years passed to reveal a lovely young woman, rather accident prone though, but full of life, curiosity, and caring. Her interest for other cultures rivaled any others and Lothuial even believed that all cultures could be brought together through a mutual understanding of everyone's cultures and habits. For if the people of Middle Earth could join in the past to rid the world of evil, why not join to help one another? Lothuial started to learn about other cultures to work towards this goal, even changing her outfits to match other cultures fashion.
This also fueled her extensive habit of sneaking out of Rivendell for her adventures and such. This wasn't always pleasant for her as orcs had not been completely wiped out. Those that were left were even more savage. One such instance had her sneaking out with Thoronwë for exploration and adventure that ended with Lothuial falling over a cliff after being hunted by a small pack of orcs. Thoronwë saved her but she had been injured by an arrow to her leg. Thoronwë took her back to Rivendell to her father Elladan who was both worried and angered. Lothuial was healed but afterwards Glorfindel and Erestor was placed in charge of also keeping her safe.

RP Sample: Lothuial's smile widened as she affectionately adjusted her hair with tender caring fingers. "Oh, Ada, you flatterer." She blushed and playfully gave him a silly look. She was sure her mother was ten times more beautiful than she was. She was also more graceful... but then again everyone was more graceful than her. Lothuial listened as he spoke about the old stories and her attention started to drift; she couldn't help it, it was reflex.
Why was he asking about such a thing anyway? Rather random to affect him so after all these years...She understood that it changed everyone's life... but why trouble him so now? "Ada..." Her voice soft. Lothuial wasn't one to like seeing her father bothered by something. It worried her if he was troubled. "Yes, I remember the story." As much of it as she could, it was very much like a tale of fiction to her now. People she would never met, for they had sailed over the sea to the Undying Lands, and an evil that had been defeated long before her birth.
'Perhaps I am just seeing shadows now where there are none but I fear to be unprepared if it should come to pass.' That wasn't ominous at all... Her deeply worried face was very evident as she watched and listened to her father speak. 'Let us speak of things more joyous shall we?' Yes, please. All this talk was starting to scare her.
The look on her face at the mention of their 'adventure' voyage to the coronation lit her worried face into a smile. Then it fell sightly. "You're not coming with us? What could keep you occupied so?" She looked around as if to see the problem herself. The shadow that fell over them, startled her for a moment before the shape became familiar to her. "Thoronwë!" She smiled up at the sight of her giant eagle friend flying overhead. "Oh my... it's going to be like a real adventure!"
"Oh Ada!" She hugged him snugly. "I'm not going to dent your coffers... I'll just get one dress. I promise." Lothuial winked playfully. It wasn't about the greed of getting and having, she knew the importance of looks, and that always affected one's first impression. She also was aware of the importance of the coffers and of haggling. She was sure to get the best price due to her looks alone, but she was also very sweet and helpful. Sometimes a task could be done in exchange for a price. Nothing of a dark and filthy nature mind you, Lothuial was pure and was going to stay that way till she was married. But say that they needed someone to clean, or darn a sock, or fix a hem.... or even gossip or put in a good word for them to get more business. Lothuial was very aware that it wasn't always the price of precious metals or jewels that got you things.
"When do we leave?"
