Now that you've read all that (please PM me with questions, I'd be happy to answer them as I don't want to confuse anybody), create some characters and let's get this show on the road!

Yep! You control the four characters like you're playing a video game. You can also make it 'two-player' and split your party with another RPer. Like you could control a Time Mage and a White Mage and Tawairell could control the Knight and Black Mage. That could be fun.

Of course, doing it that way would make the game move more slowly. And also, each different game would have their own thread to keep things sane. So if you and Tawairell played but each controlled your different characters, then I'd create a separate thread for that. But if you were on the 'same team' then there would be no need for that.

Suddenly, a large, overgrown flower blossomed before them and appeared to have blocked their path. "You must defeat us to continue further."

((Just to make things more interesting I'll play an NPC character that's traveling with the group.)) "Us?" Valerie asked quizzically. She was a Spirit Ghost with the power to return others to life, although she couldn't really particpiate in battle herself as her entire body was transparent. Furthermore, she's only able to use her powers if all four of them die.

The flower seemed to have nodded in the wind, and then spread its seeds and out grew another flower that looked much more viscous. The first flower looked pink and delicate, and the second one was a dark shade of orange. They intertwined their light green vines together, and then seemed to have kissed each other.

"There's a strategy to defeat them, of course" Valerie told her students, edging them into battle. "Fight wisely, my children." She looked at Eion and Mimori with a smirk. They both liked to give Calvin and Demona a hard time for being the youngest, but Valerie was born since before life began, if that even made sense.

Peacebloom and Wildbloom attack!

TIP: Peacebloom is inspiring Wildbloom to be much stronger!

(Passive and Normal monster, so party goes first)

((I might change the numerical values of certain spells, especially the hate levels, as we get more of a feel of how fights are gonna go...but not till later tho. If everything is perfect though they'll remain untouched.))

Wildbloom takes a big bite out of Eion! Eion loses a whopping 50 HP!

Peacebloom does nothing...

The fireball singes through Peacebloom's radiant leaves! Peacebloom loses 25 HP. (Weak against Fire)

Valerie smiled at Demona. "Excellent job little one, I don't think she likes that too much!" She assumed the flower was female by its passive nature, although she wasn't quite sure. She wished she could be more involved in this exciting battle, but all she could do was keep their hopes up. Val glanced at Eion with a worried look, if that had been anybody else in the party they'd be dead.
