Located in the big house is The Meeting Room, used when the Head Counselors and Deputy Counselors of cabins attend meetings. It is also the game room.

Riley stepped into the room. Dionysus had left the day before hand and instructed the 6 campers he choose for Council to hold a meeting and decide what to do for responsibilities and leading the camp. Sitting in one of the chairs, the former Head of Aphrodite flipped open one of the many magazines he ordered. "Huh. The color this year is green? Damn. it looks horrible on me." he said as he looked through the fashion magazine.
Flipping through the pages he saw pictures of models in eccentric outfits and skimmed articles, glancing up occasionally to see when the other council members would arrive. Seeing they had yet to show up, he went back to his magazine. Finally he came to the end of the Magazine and tossed it on the table. It slid across and fell to the floor on the other end. "Ugh." he said as he let out a sigh and stood. Glancing at the door to see if anyone was coming yet. "Am I early or something?" he wondered aloud as he watched the entrance to the room.

Step into my world of dark. Step into a world of dreams. You know not whats in store for you in this world of Fear. This was going to be a hell of a day wasn't it? Their leader had abandoned his post last night leaving six of them in charge. How crazy was this? It seemed to him that the god had lost all sense he had in the world to put this crazy lot together, himself in charge especially. Granted there were five others but really who puts a son of Phobos in charge? That was like asking for bad jokes of ruling with fear and a plethora of other bad puns. Scar riddled hands slid through fiery locks as he waited patiently for his canine companion to finish his meal. Pho only ate up in his room, that was the rule. He didn't want to get in trouble for leaving a mess everywhere. Once the jackal was done the pair made their way down from his new room towards the place he once had meetings with the other cabin heads. For now it was going to be a council meeting....cripes council. There were so many things he found wrong with all of this. Hurrying down the attic stairs, a small part of him still thrilled he managed to hijack the back room of the space, he moved quickly through the familiar halls. Pausing briefly by the familiar door of his longtime friend, and now fellow council member, Marcus' room Flinch pounded firmly on the door. "Up and at them, Oreo! Council meeting remember?" Flinch called waiting till he heard a familiar thud inside. Moving on a smile on his face the teen resisted the urge to pound on the other doors no matter how tempting. His footsteps sounded in the halls as he approached the meeting room and tossed the door open. A chuckle left the red head as Pho pushed passed him and made his way to the same seat Flinch used to take during meetings. "Well excuse me your grace. Please pardon your humble servant." Came the sarcastic reply electing a small bark out of the intelligent dog. A chuckle left him as he followed his friend. Looking across he spotted a familiar blond and a smile rolled onto his face. "Morning sunshine. You ready for this lovely upgrade to our already illustrious status?" He greeted as he spun the chair around and sat down in it crossing his arms on the headrest. "You're not early though. We're all just late apparently. I was taking care of Pho so that's my excuse. Anything good to read over there?" He continued commenting on the son of Aphrodite's words he had caught as he entered. Reaching down he scratched Pho's ears, a steady thump echoing in the quiet room because of it. "Marcus should be down soon, I just knocked on his door. Don't know about the others. I figured Shirley would skin me if I touched her door so I decided to avoid that frankly. Same thing with our darling Huntress so yeah....." He continued ticking off the members as he went on his fingers. "Not sure at all about Alta though. Maybe we should call meeting adjourned? I am willing to bet Azzy is at the training grounds and I haven't gotten much in today." Flinch knew better then to think he'd get that lucky but didn't mean he couldn't hope. He seriously hoped this new title wouldn't effect his training schedule. He didn't like the thought of getting lazy because of his new power in camp. Course unless it was a child of Ares there didn't seem to be many who regularly spent time down at the grounds. Maybe that was something they could discuss once the meeting got going. Under my protection: Pho, Riley This side of fear: Room to Council room I'll get you my pretty! So many bad jokes.... Knife to the heart: Sycthe, duel daggers (one Imperial gold, one steal), Son of Fear Fractured memories: And there we go. I hope he's ok

xxxxxTo be honest, Alta still could not believe it. It had been a day since Dionysus left the camp in the hands of six campers. Six campers, and she was one of them. Before all of this, she had just been the Head of Iris, something that she did not mind too much. She was one of the elder children of the Rainbow Goddess. However, she had a feeling that running a cabin and running the camp would be two different things. After all, six campers, none of whom were siblings would have to actually agree on the direction of the camp. Things could get hairy to say the least, but the redhead was prepared for that. She was prepared to keep the peace as long as necessary. Alta just hoped that for once Dionysus actually made a good decision.
xxxxxEntering the room, Alta found Riley Matthews, a Son of Aphrodite looking rather impatient. He was the only one in the room. Glancing to the table, the girl saw a magazine that was on the floor, only a short distance away. 'How long as he been sitting here waiting?' she thought to herself. It was possible he could have been waiting all day, or only a few minutes. It all depended on what sort of a magazine reader the boy was. Was he the kind to just look at the pictures or was he the kind to meticulously read each article?
xxxxxThere was someone else in the room as well. Someone that Alta had not really seen much, despite the fact that they were both children of minor gods. It was just, going off the stereotypes, they should be complete opposites. Rainbows and fear. They just did not go together well, but Alta did not see that. After all, some people were afraid of rainbows. "For a matter of a few minutes we're going to call the meeting already? Fates help the camp then." she said as she took her seat. It would certainly be interesting if they could not run the camp simply because of a matter of time.

Fire, it created and it destroyed but most of all it was the pinnacle of his own existence because without it where would he be? Probably smartly in bed but alas this son of Hephaestus was more keen on working than sleeping clear by the fact he worked in the forges until he was merely a husk of a man. Finally calling it a night the moment the sun started to break over peaks in the distance which once he figured out he was no longer in his normal cabin but in the Big house he collapsed into his hammock. The large harpy eagle found his entrance lacking as it had woken her up long before she wanted to which she made known by swooping at him and snatching at any loose part of him before landing on the window seal. That is the last the blond haired man remembered before a few hours later a loud thumping on his door followed by words that he could barely make out until that end part about the meeting he had forgotten about till well now. With a sudden movement from the blond the hammock twisted and deposited him on the wooden floor which honestly he did not think about the fact he was on the second floor or anything those people didn't need sleep anyways. Groaning he rolled onto his back listening to the retreating steps of his oldest friend as well as what sounded like his hound which was all hunky dory he really did not want to open his eyes. The piercing cry of his harpy eagle caused him to slowly open his blurry blue eyes at which he stared at the ceiling for a long moment wishing that Mr. D had not put this responsibility on him. He was no leader nor was he truly in any means responsible as he favored staying up till the sun rose working in the forges as at times he had trouble sleeping so he worked himself to sleep it worked normally when he didn't have something important to do. Sitting up he rubbed his eyes tenderly with his calloused hands trying to cause them to focus when he was pretty sure if he wanted to he could fall back to sleep like this sitting up and everything but he didn't. Glancing down at his attire he noticed the holes and burn marks on his clothing among other unruly things that really just would not due for something as informally formal as this meeting was even more so with Riley being there.
Pulling off the damaged shirt he tossed it onto his couch before crossing the room and pulling on a fresh shirt as well as grabbing the leather shoulder pad he used to allow Aquila to come with him otherwise she would ruin another shirt that he really could not afford to have happen. The long sleeve dark blue button up clung to his skin even more with the shoulder leather strapped on as well as the leather that protected the lower half of that side just around his armpit. The leather straps could clearly be seen but they blended well with the shirt he wore currently which as he looked at himself he looked at the harsh char marks on his jeans. Sighing he changed those as well before throwing his long hair into a ponytail before heading for the door without a backwards glance towards the window he felt the air brush at the nape of his neck then the sudden weight on his shoulder. "I was hoping you weren't still sour about me because of this morning it would be a boring meeting without you." He said simply in his southern accented vocals which in response the great bird raised her crown of feathers lightly before nibbling at his ear then down his neck. Which as long as he's had his great beast that usually meant she forgave him for what he had done for the moment to say the least as she seemed content with the idea of going to a meeting though she was the only one with those feelings. He never wanted to lead anything let alone a whole camp though he was not alone it was still a highly uncomfortable thoughts while Aquila, a harpy eagle, seemed more a tune to leading he figured it was because she was under Zeus' domain. Made sense to his tired mind as he easily put his worn leather work boots on before heading down the stairs to where he knew the meeting to be which if his memory worked well enough he'd be there in no time. Though that was the least of his worries as he staggered a little on the last few steps gods either he was really tired or his bad tripping habits were flaring again much to his own annoyance. The moment he opened that door to the meeting room he really did not want to step any further in but the moment his blue eyes came upon Flinch all was at ease. Clearly as the large eagle took off gliding effortlessly she took a playful snag at the red head male's locks missing flesh but being playful the entire time as she landed gracefully on the chair next to Flinch.
A flat but playful look crossed his face as he looked at the great monochrome bird as she looked at him then the others flaring her crown in a cautiously threatening manner to the others while clicking her beak softly." I think she is calling dibs, silly bird." Pausing before crossing the room and taking the seat that Aquila had chosen for him not minding the way she moved on it nor when she strayed from the leather padding to tread on his fabric covered arm." Morning everyone, if I was late sorry though I'm doubting I am as now four of six have arrived I assume we are waiting for the rest?" He said calmly in his southern accented vocals that regardless of the time out of the south the accent seemed to never fade from his tongue then again he traveled during the summer to find where his mother had gone off to. Now that was going to prove difficult as he was chained to this camp more than he wanted to admit yet he did not show his uncomfortable state of mind with the rest of them instead he just stroked his eagle while lightly nudging Flinch with his elbow. The moment the red head looked his way he would get a silent thank you for the morning call as without Flinch he would not have woken up in time for this thing nonetheless remembered it was today. Within the fires of the Forge: Riley, Flinch, and Altagracia Just beyond the ridge: From his room to the meeting room Well That just won't fly: I am not awake enough to panic about this Under pressure: Exhausted, uncomfortable, amused Burn baby burn: Oddly this is my first ever post with him I hope you enjoy him <3

TIERNEY REESE HOLDEN LIEUTENANT OF THE HUNTERS OF ARTEMIS FOREVER SEVENTEEN mood: irate thoughts: What in the names of the gods was Dionysus thinking? others: council members whereabouts: Cabin Head Meeting Tierney stalked into the room with absolutely no confidence that anyone would be able to decide anything. Yes. This was totally going to go great. Just great. A bunch of teenagers were going to be able to decide important matters. Of course. She'd rather be doing anything else than being here. They'd probably all let their petty rivalries get in the way. She didn't spend a lot of time in Camp; there was always hunting to be done, but she recognized all of them. She cut an imposing figure, tense as always when she wasn't with her fellow hunters, weapons concealed for now but still on her person. Ready for anything, including a whole lot of bickering that would probably end with her having to break up a fight. Or getting into a fight. Though she might actually enjoy that. She looked around, hazel eyes skimming over the other council members before giving Flinch a cold look. "I'm not anyone's darling, son of Phobos." She nodded to Alta, the only female besides her in the room and therefore in her eyes deserving of a slightly more friendly attitude. "Altagracia." she greeted her. "Fates help us indeed." she muttered. Finally she looked to the boys in the room, not counting the redhead she had just rebuked. "Son of Aphrodite. Son of Hephaestus." she said with the slightest of an incline of her head. MOONLIGHT DROWNS OUT ALL BUT THE BRIGHTEST STARS.

☯Ͼøʉƞсìł Ϻɛɱɓɛɾ ✦✧✩✫✬✭✮✯✰ Laili had been wandering around the house with her sketchpad climbing tees and generally being a nuisance to the bird population. But it wasn't her fault the suddenly shy birds didn't want a closeup! She had heard that a cabin head meeting was about to occur and that she couldn't miss it, not like she tried to miss meetings she just got lost. In the sea of time. Unfortunately this excuse only worked once for her before the others just assumed her to be either flaky or scaring up the occult. Which she normally didn't do; the undead was boring so whoever said that the life afterward wasn't should have their thumbs cut off. Looking down at her Christmas watch (given to her on Easter by an old friend) attached to her right ankle she noted that if she left right that second she might only be four minutes late. So with that thought in mind she jumped from the low tree branch and onto the grass not noticing, and probably not caring, that a few leaves were stuck in her brunette tresses. Sparrow did which is probably why the crow came and landed on her shoulder and began settling her wild locks. Used to the presence of her familiar, Laili walked back into the Big House and towards the meeting room to see that she was indeed the last to arrive. "Sorry I'm late everyone. Sea of life and all that." They all seemed to be of the same mind that Dionysus had been crazy to leave the running of the camp to it's heads. Then again she never truly relied on the other's sanity much. Not looking the cramped space at all she chose a spot by the nearest window to allow in the open air still paying no mind to the preening crow. 'Lets get this circus on the road!' ✦✧✩✫✬✭✮✯✰

Step into my world of dark. Step into a world of dreams. You know not whats in store for you in this world of Fear.Apparently the party was working on getting stared. Not too long after he entered his fellow ginger appeared. He was not overly familiar with Alta and to be honest it surprised Flinch a bit. For the last six years the daughter of Iris had been at camp year round but still he didn't seem to catch her that much. She always seemed to be running around with her sister...well might have been her best friend he wasn't overly certain about her relationship with Delfina was. Before he could address her comment about wishing for the Fates help Pho gave a light woof. The jackal rarely made noise and most of the time it was a warning. This warning though was a familiar tone letting him know just who was coming int he door next. Wings' beating the air made him look up in time to see razor sharp claws coming his way. "Hey there little lady. You keeping that boy in line?" Flinch said with a chuckle as he moved with the harpy eagle that had playfully attacked his hair. He knew better then to sit still or move against them, gods forbid. Last time he got a very short haircut because of it. Flinch reached out and patted Marcus' shoulder as he took the previously claimed seat. "Glad you could join us hun. You were making me worried. What did you have going on in the forge that was so interesting?" He teased lightly looking at the blond a small smile on his face. Flinch had known Marcus almost as long as Azrael but it was hard for the son of Phobos to claim who he was closer too. Both of the other men put up with his antics and were easily some of the most trusted people he had in camp. Without Marcus being here in the room with him Flinch was almost certain he would have told Mr. D. where he could have stuck his harebrained idea. Then came a voice he longed to hear. Unable to help the sly crooked smirk that rolled onto his face as he looked up at the irritated brunette. In an icy tone the Huntress greet the men of the room by their lineage. Way to make him feel special, he actually got words before hand. "But you're my darling, Tierney dear. Or are you telling me you still don't love me?" Most people would probably consider it suicide to harass the leader of Artemis' Hunters but Flinch wasn't most people. Leaning his head on his palm he couldn't help but be hyper aware for a brief moment of the scar that stretched under his left eye. He had receive it from harassing a Hunter when on a quest long ago. To this day he never understood why he walked away alive, but he wasn't one to look a gift horse in the mouth so to speak. That didn't mean however that he could resist teasing the brunette. Looks aside he found the woman interesting and often thought her feathers were far too easily ruffled. Pho however didn't seem to enjoy the woman's tone. Bright eyes watched the woman from his post beside his master but not a sound came out of him. Letting his hand slid away from proping his head up, Flinch reached down scratch the jackal's ears again. Pho wasn't the type to start things unless he felt there was real danger but no sense in taking a chance right? "Really Tier, relax. Nothing is going to get done if you walk in the room and are already biting off heads lovely." Flinch continued his smile still firmly in place as he spoke. Finally the final member of this powwow joined them and Flinch stretched lightly as Laili apologized. Sea of life? He did not want to even attempt a crack at that one. Too many bad comments could be made far too easily. "Awesome we're ready to go! Who wants to start? Anyone taking notes because I did not bring something to do so with." Man was it just him or was he the only chatty one today? Really this was a bad sign. Sure he loved to talk but this wasn't a place for him to be able to make so many jokes. As soon as things got rolling he would settle, he always did. Flinch was rather good at separating his humor from the serious talks. At least without Mr. D here he didn't have to worry about pissing a god off. Quietly he wondered if Chiron would be joining them. When was the last time he saw the old centaur anyway? Under my protection: Pho, Riley, Marcus with Aquila, Laili, Tierney, Alta This side of fear: Council room I'll get you my pretty! Oh Hunters...they are so much fun <3 Knife to the heart: Sycthe, duel daggers (one Imperial gold, one steel), Son of Fear Fractured memories: Sorry it's short :c

TIERNEY REESE HOLDEN LIEUTENANT OF THE HUNTERS OF ARTEMIS FOREVER SEVENTEEN mood: irate thoughts: What in the names of the gods was Dionysus thinking? others: council members whereabouts: Cabin Head Meeting Tierney was willing to punch that smirk off the boy's face, and she probably would have gone ahead and done that, except that would probably piss people off, which she ordinarily wouldn't care about, but she was going to have to try to get along with these people. Even the ones that were purposefully trying to get her riled up. Someone had to be the adult here. So what if she was mentally and physically still seventeen? She was twenty three! Or she would have been twenty three, of not for the whole hunter thing. But that was besides the point. "Somehow, somehow I've managed to live without you," she said coolly, though her eyes narrowed in annoyance and her fingers twitched a little, as if searching for an invisible knife. Which she was considering pulling out. Stupid little boy. Did he want another scar to match the one he'd already gotten from one of her hunters? Yes, she remembered that. She tried to keep the girls under her leadership calm and collected for the most part, but she wasn't going to blame them if they snapped at some idiotic male. A lot of them hadn't had the greatest experiences with the opposite gender before they joined the hunt, and she wasn't the only touchy one in the group. She considered herself remarkably tolerant. A few of the girls wouldn't even recognize that males existed, never mind speak to them or put up with harassment. Now Flinch's dog, mutt, beast, thing- whatever it was, didn't look too happy. Well, that was just too bad. She stared back at the dog without even blinking. Then he had the nerve to scold her! Gods! "Funny," she retorted. "The only head I currently want to bite off is yours. What a shocker." For the son of the god of fear to be so cheery was unnatural, anyways. It was like a daughter of Hades who wore pink ruffled dresses. Or a son of Poseidon afraid of water. He could at least try to be a little more grim. It irked her. She nodded silently at Laili as she came in, and then of course Chatterbox piped up again and started the meeting. Tierney leaned against a wall, completely still except for her eyes, which looked to person from person. What? She hadn't exactly brought a pen and notebook to take notes with. She figured someone else could play secretary. MOONLIGHT DROWNS OUT ALL BUT THE BRIGHTEST STARS.

Riley had just picked up the magazine as everyone started to arrive. First Flinch, then Alta, followed after by Marcus and then Tierney, the Huntress and finally the last arrived with Laili. And nearly immediately Flinch and the Hunter started at it. Sighing Riley sat back down. "Well, before you all kill each other. We should start. Unlike you all I planned ahead." he said indicating a notebook and pen as well as an Envelope marked with Dionysus' symbol.
"Big D mentioned when he spoke to us that he would leave a letter behind for explanation and what to do. I'm assuming this letter is it. Now, Alta, would you mind taking notes, your writing is much neater than mine." He said pushing the notebook and pen to her. Riley opened the envelope and began to read aloud.
"Mr. Mathers, Miss Shiryl, Mr. Flick, Mr. McCanner. Miss Ways. Miss Howden. - Gods can't he ever get anyone names right?" Riley asked annoyed. "I have entrusted the camp to your leadership. You most likely wonder why this was necessary, but in due time you shall see. - Boy that's helpful - Now You all are going to be in charge of a certain duty at the camp. But first allow me to explain the reasoning behind the choices. Mr. Flick is an excellent fighter, due to this he is being named head of Training. Mr. McCanner is ideal for construction and developing, so he shall be in charge of building the new cabins and defenses. Ms Shiryl is a person who is skilled in knowledge and people, she shall be heading the camp Office work. She shall develop schedules and keep track on all events." Miss Ways shall be activities Director. Miss Howden, as the Head Huntress you are the only one they will listen to. Keep them in line and not killing boys. Mr. Mathers, you are to coordinate and manage these people. You are skilled with people and getting them to work together is going to require that skill." Riley paused and glanced at the others. "Well. No pressure there right?" he said referring to the already high tensions within the room. "Now, something has to be up if he says we need defenses for the camp. What we don't know yet. Why? Maybe the Oracle knows, but she is not here right now..." he said and trailed off.

xxxxxAt first, Alta was taken back by Tierney's hostility toward the others in the room, but given a quick glance, she figured it out. Tierney was a Hunter, and not just any Hunter. She was Artemis' lieutenant. They hated men. The Daughter of Iris could not imagine joining them. To leave everything behind, to never have a boyfriend. She did not think that she could do it. Alta wondered if they would be the only girls to show up to the meeting. She hoped not. It would not be fair for there to be more guys at the meeting. However, eventually Laili showed up and took a seat by the widow.
xxxxx"I never said anything about being unprepared," Alta said with a smirk. She had paper, she had pencils. The girl was an artist after all. She had to have something, especially now that she needed to look at least a bit professional. Some people might not take too kindly to her drawing on herself. The Daughter of Iris was slightly relieved to see that Riley had a notebook and pen. She was not about to sacrifice her precious art paper. When the young man pushed the notebook and pen to her, she took it. It was probably somewhat better that she was the scribe for this meeting.
xxxxxAlta listened to the names being read as she opened the notebook. Dionysus never could remember anyone's name. Perhaps it was better that the campers were in charge now. They could at least remember each others names. She did her best to take down the names, the right names, and the part of the camp they would be in charge of. "Should we get her then?" the young woman asked as she finished writing everything down.

☯Ͼøʉƞсìł Ϻɛɱɓɛɾ ✦✧✩✫✬✭✮✯✰ Laili sat on the window seat looking out to the rest of the cabin leaders with an air of nonchalance, smirking lightly to show her amusement towards Flinch. For one seemingly so dark he was certainly a humorous chatterbox. When he spoke of taking notes she blinked and began to search her person for her art tools only to discover she must have dropped them by the oak. Pouting a bit her at her discovery she took comfort in the fact Sparrow must have sensed her disappointment by lightly nipping her ear and hopping around her shoulder. He had noticed Marcus' eagle and gave his normal unobtrusive glare as if to show that this was "his human." Silly birds. She blinked at the sudden words of Riley and thought them over for a second. 'Killing each other'? So far the son of Phobos was being mentally unbalanced that the Huntress was being her normal happy-go-lucky self. Sunrise sunset; the world keeps on turning. But enough of that! The song of Aphrodite was pulling out a letter noting that it was from Dionysus and began to read. Laili only twitched when her name was mispronounced before sighing, the man wasn't even here and he was still fudding up their names. She listened as he listed off the responsibilities to each Council Member and when he got to her name she blinked. Then let out a sigh. And last a soft chuckle. Who did D think he was? Paperwork? She was managing paperwork? She could change around events and place schedules in the most abnormal of settings. Actually...that didn't sound to bad. If she began chuckling a tad maniacally under her breath she didn't notice. She then blinked when they mentioned the Oracle and she began to get excited. Laili hadn't had a good chat with her since the beginning of camp and she missed her friend. They were Odd and Seeing so naturally they knew each other. Then she thought of llama llama alpaca event scheduling and began to cackle again. "He might have been as loony as a fruit bat but he at least knew us well enough to place us where we were apparently needed." the daughter of Hectate spoke up in the absence's defense. Sparrow cocked his head towards her with a knowing look of 'You're only agreeing because of the mischief you'll know you'll cause 'Hush pet, I'm plotting.' she thought pulling a small treat from her pocket and presenting it to the crow. ✦✧✩✫✬✭✮✯✰

Five minutes in charge of camp and already they were at each other’s throats though for Flinch it was normal even more so when it came down to the fact of who he was playing verbal Russian roulette with. As long as the blond had known the red head he knew that Flinch was always this way with huntresses but the blacksmith knew the story behind the scar on his comrade’s face and he meant the true one not the one everyone knew. Alas Marcus was not allowed to make others privy to that information not that he wanted to chat about his friend’s daring deeds they had done silly things in the past not that either gloated about things like that even for boys. Rubbing the bridge of his nose then his tired eyes with his left hand he endured the beginning of this banter between the two of them but only barely as when the huntress address him by his father. Dipping his head in a rather too-graceful for him way he spoke subtly and shortly ”Huntress.” He said in his very southern accent which hit hard on the ‘hunt’ and ‘r’ of the word which was just how he spoke his accent often hit hard on certain parts of words which huntress just happened to be one of them. The large monochrome bird looked towards the red head when he spoke to her as she attempted to playfully assault his locks which for the time the bird knew him he had learned to move with not against her. Clicking her beak in response to the red haired being she titled her head and moved ever so lightly when her master had sat down though her focus was on the red head until the other bird was brought into the room. Intelligent eyes looked towards the crow with curiosity yet she did not leave her master’s side instead she gracefully moved down to his right forearm not caring to not if he remembered to put the leather bracer on this morning or not.
Looking towards Flinch as he pat the blacksmith on the shoulder he studied his comrade as he spoke in a tone that differed widely from the tone his friend took with the huntress then again there was a large difference in like between the two of them. Smiling loosely the blond replied in his southern drawl ” Sorry to worry ya, Sugar. I couldn’t sleep so I went to tinker on an idea I had for a catapult and no sugar ya can’t use it to launch a certain someone no matter how much I know ya want to.” He said in a very affectionate tone but Marcus was comfortable in his sexuality that he probably would make out with Flinch right here and not feel that he was swinging one way too far or abandoning the other. Then again the blond was bisexual who said he did not have feelings for flinch if you seriously think that then you need help regardless the fact that Marcus is bi he prefers women not that Flinch isn’t attractive or anything. Bringing his attention away from the Son of Phobos to the rest of the room tired blue eyes glanced at each person evenly and without giving away that in reality he was barely awake let alone function completely. Flinch just made things easier on the blond as he did not irritate sensitive nerves or make him think more than he wanted to then again when Marcus looked at anything he found about five different things he could use it for besides the main purpose of it. Blue eyes quickly flashed up towards the huntress as the banter between the two continued to the point patience was beginning to become thin as much as he dealt with Flinch’s banter towards others the moment someone, huntress of Artemis or not, began to throw around things that seemed threatening often annoyed the blacksmith. Being fatigued as he was did not help the matter as he allowed no anger to show in his face not even in his eyes the only way anyone knew he was annoyed was by the faint smell of something burning. Which was coming from his left hand as he gripped the arm of the chair in a very deceivingly relaxed position as most would assume he would show the anger/annoyance there but Marcus was too calm in poise to ever let someone know his annoyance.
The only thing that broke his concentration on this sudden burst of burning things is the letter which Riley began to read to them. Though Marcus had ceased using his rare ability absentmindedly he damaged the wood enough it still smoldered letting off light wisps of smoke but nothing more as he listened to what Riley had to say. The moment McCanner was said a half smile crossed his once calm face as much as Mr. D was a bit loony he had to admit that his sense of humor was not lacking as the canner bit was defiantly playing off the knight part of his last name as they did wear suits of armor and all. Outside of that little joke of the day it seemed Mr. D did know what he was doing when he put this rag tag group together because honestly Flinch was a hell of a fighter as he watched when Flinch and that son of Ioke went at it and it was clear that Flinch had the skill that many others lacked. Listening to what the others were put in charge of he barely noted that he was put in charge of building then again what would a son of Hephaestus do in such a group as this unless you counted tripping among his talents tinkering and building were his fortes no need to state them out loud. Tapping the arm of his chair with his left hand exposing the charred surface lightly he listened to them discuss bringing the oracle in on this because of making defenses. Not that he blamed them for being all uptight about knowing why they needed them he really did not care to know the why his mind was already deep within the confines of plans as he thought of what he possibly could do to fortify camp even more than it already was. The only thing that snapped him out of his thoughts was the sharp beak of his harpy eagle brushing against his arm as she grabbed from the metal hoop at his elbow that usually hooked to the leather bracer he wore which in this morning’s rush he forgot it silly him. He took her playing as a sign he needed to stay focused on the meeting as no matter the plans he figured out it would be no use if he had no means of knowing why silly bird was smarter than she appeared. Stroking her with his left hand he let it rest once more as he waited for someone to think of something it was not like he was going to volunteer to get the oracle he was a builder the future was not something he cared for often unless it was the future of what he was building that’s all that mattered sometimes. Within the fires of the Forge: Flinch with Pho, Riley, Tierney, Laili, Alta Just beyond the ridge: Meeting room Well That just won't fly: That wouldn't work maybe if it was turned this way Under pressure: Annoyed, Calm, Amused, Sleepy Burn baby burn: Thought I should post him... not very helpful in moving it but he's up anyways

december gillian mason host of the oracle of delphi fifteen and counting mood: bright thoughts: aha! others: council members whereabouts: Cabin Head Meeting The door to the room swung open and a small girl skipped inside, humming off tune, before she seemed to realize where she was. "Aha! This was exactly where I was supposed to go!" she squealed in delight, then looked around with bright eyes. "I had a hunnnnnnnnch," she sang, and then shrugged. "Or a premonition thingy, whatever ya wanna call it." She ticked people off with her fingers. "Riles, Flinchy, Rainbow, Marky, Tiery, Laili!" she recited, with a cheeky smile. "Have no fear. December is here. Me. Not the month." she added, as if concerned they might get confused. December set her sights on Tierney, who surprisingly looked like she was struggling to hold back a smile, and sprang at her, wrapping skinny arms around the taller, older girl in a hug.
Tierney's mouth twitched and a small grin appeared. "Nice to see you, too, Oracle."
"We're friends! You can call me December, Miss Frownie Face!" came the muffled reply, before the blonde released her victim and looked around like appraising the rest of them for potential hugging. our fate cannot be taken from us; it is a gift.

Riley watched as Alta took notes, as he read from the letter, looking at Laili he watched her for a moment. "Indeed, it seems Dionysus knows a bit more than he let on." he said ignoring the somewhat hostile behavior between the hunter and the other two males. Just then, as Alta suggested getting the oracle the door opened and December, the oracle walked in. Sighing the son of Aphrodite gave the younger girl a rather, exasperated look. "Must you call me that, December? You do know I do not like that nickname." he said as he looked at the girl. He held up the letter. "Dionysus' letter said we need to build defenses for the camp. Do you have any visions on why this is needed?" he asked as he looked at the girl.
