Bastion X Matyre
Son of Hermes "Money... Money money money money... money money money money money money... money... Bastion, in his black clean jacket and formal attire, sat around the unlit campfire pit with his head in his hands. His hunched over back and his spread apart legs probably showed he was thinking fairly hard about something, though he didn't exactly know what to think about first. Should he think about his mother, back at home expecting his return multiple days ago who is now probably freaking out about her lost son. He had never gotten the chance to say goodbye to her. Maybe he should think about the things that he had seen, like a human woman transforming into some form of... of... creature right before his eyes, like something he would imagine out of a book. Or... he should probably think about what he was going to do now that he was living in this camp and knew about his father. His father was a god, which was very hard to believe but when a staff of Hermes appeared to him he knew it to be true. He sighed and took his face out of his hands and stared at the charred fire pit before he checked the watch on his wrist.Mood: Confused Feelings: Tired, Lonely Theme: Location: Fire Pit ((Out Of C: Hope that's better.)) Raisa Briggs Daughter of Hypnos Raisa wondered through the Camp not really sure where she belonged. Her mother Cheyenne had told her that once she was inside she should go to the main cabin but she wasn't sure which cabin was the main cabin. She had walked around hoping to find someone who could point her in the direction of the main cabin. She stretched yawning quite a bit before moving over to the fire pit the whole time talking to herself, "I wonder if I am even in the right place?" She yawned again, "Maybe I can find something to eat if I cant find the sign up place...." She stopped short of the fire pit and looked around for some sort of clue like where to go or where she might find someone who could tell her. That's when she noticed the person sitting nearby. She wasnt sure if this was the right place to start but it was worth a shot. She yawned then smiled, "Um...pardon me? I hate to disturb you but could you possibly help me find somewhere to eat or where to sign up for a room?"

Bastion X Matyre
Son of Hermes"Money... Money money money money... money money money money money money... money... Bastion stared at the bare firepit almost aimlessly, his head full of thoughts, almost all of them being bad. His eyes seemed distant and unnormal for him, his thoughts clouding his sight and his brain seemed unresponcive to him until he heard a voice behind him. He snapped back to reality and turned his head to see the voice that had called for his attention. He turned to see a slightly sleepy looking brunette behind him that seemed a bit lost. He stood up and rubbed the side of his head and smiled to the girl.
"Oh, no! No no no no no, no not disurbing me at all. I kinda needed something to wake me back up in fact thank you for coming by."
Bastion said really quickly, he always spoke pretty fast and clearly with his slightly european accent. He scratched his chin and then snapped his fingers.
"Sorry, got a bit off topic there, you asked about food and shelter. Well I know where the food is and I can show you where the cabins are, this place is actually quite confusing, the whole place is a big jumble of stuff."

Raisa Briggs Daughter of Hypnos Raisa smiled slightly when she heard the dark haired guys accent, "Thank you that would be wonderful. I just arrived not to long ago and I was told that there were cabins for the campers to sleep in but my mother was unsure who was in charge of the housing situation." She yawned, " Anyways I am glad I am not the only one to think that this place is a bit confusing. " She wasn't sure what sounded better to her bed or food. Either way she was happy that she found someone that could help her. Raisa tilted her head to the side as she looked at the fire pit. She smiled dreamily thinking about bonfires in the summer with her family. She flushed slightly when she heard her stomach. She looked back at the guy, "Sorry I guess I should have ate more before I came here!" She paused for a moment then extended her had, "I am so sorry I have been terribly rude. My name is Raisa Briggs." She smiled warmly hoping she wasn't being to forward.

Son of Hermes"Money... Money money money money... money money money money money money... money... Bastion nodded as the girl spoke to him about her situation, something about her started to make him tired as well but he could easily tell she was tired. He jumped slightly as she said she had been terribly rude and he quickly went to shake her hand.
"No no no, I'm sorry I should've presented myself first, what kind of person am I, not a good one I tell you if I forgot something as simple as this."
Bastion said, his grip on her hand seemed really tight and strong, a strength that really didn't fit his thin tall stature. He held her hand shaking it for an oddly long amount of time before he realized and let go quickly.
"Sorry, I'm a bit out of it like I normally am, so how about food and sleep huh? Let's go to one, wait! Food and sleep is not an area Bastion you dunce, the dinning pavilion or the cabins, yes lets go to those places how does that sound?"
Bastion said looking at Raisa with a slightly panicked smile, he sometimes starts mummbling nonsense to people he talked to and didn't want to do that to one of his potential friends.Mood: Slowly getting excited Feelings: Tired, Nervous Theme: Location: Fire Pit ((Out Of C: )) "Such a small but powerful word, that could turn man against man."

Raisa Briggs Daughter of Hypnos "It is so nice to meet you! Please don't worry I am so glad that you are willing to help so there is no need to apologize." Raisa smiled at Bastion's introduction of himself, "They both sound wonderful Bastion but I think maybe the dining pavilion would be the best place to start. I am kind of hungry and afraid that if I go to the cabins first I may fall asleep." She giggle as she finished her thoughts wondering what this camp was like. "Sorry sometimes I tend to kind of say what I am thinking without meaning to. It usually happens when I am tired."Raisa then shifted her weight from one leg to the other in an attempt to avoid another yawn, "So what is this place like and do you come here every summer?"

Bastion rubbed the back of his head softly then chuckled as she spoke about herself talking whenever she was tired. He had the same problem but all of the time and it was good to know that he hadn't messed anything up with the new girl.
"Sorry, I have a bad habit of appologizing for random things and same as you I kinda just speak what I think except I do it all the time, it's a really bad habit I'll probably never get over. Then again if I tried to stop one day I might succesfully get over it... Wait... I'm doing it again."
Bastion said then softly facepalmed before he smiled softly to her and rocked back and forth on his heels then jumped realizing he should probably show her where she wanted to go.
"Sorry, dining pavilion it is, I can see why you'd want to go there first, sleep will in fact stop you from eating food. And food is good... In my opinon, some of the creatures around here don't need to eat and they disagree with me because, well, they don't have to eat. Well anyways follow me, please."
Bastion said starting to walk then he turned and started walking backwards as he thought about her question.

Raisa Briggs Daughter of Hypnos "I know what you mean. I find myself apologizing all the time but that's usually because either I just start talking non-stop or I fall asleep. That only happens every once in a while and....sorry I need to focus." She smiled when she realized she was yet again rambling. She was glad that she found such a nice camper. She nodded when he mentioned the dining pavilion then realized he had started walking. She hadn't even realized he had started walking, "Oh right! You cant eat without the dining area can you. You know what sounds really good right now a bacon cheese burger with five dill pickle chips under the bun." She giggled then she began walking behind Bastion. When he said he was new she smiled, "I was hoping that this place would be okay." She blinked then brushed her hand through her hair. She didn't want to push to hard about the camp and possibly upset him. Instead she asked, "So is the food good here or is it like cafeteria food?"

Son of Hermes"Money... Money money money money... money money money money money money... money... Bastion listened to her speak, he found their little conversation really nice, a girl that was easy to talk to that had allot of similarities to him. It was a nice little encounter and probably what he needed to get out of his little slum that he was in.
"I'm sorry I distracted you from your train of thought, feel free to buy your ticket and hop back on your train of thought because I promise I wont distract you any further."
Bastion said walking backwards then after a moment he sighed and lowered his head.
"Sorry I'm doing it again, I never mean to but I kinda do mean to because I'm the one speaking and... I'm going to shut up now."
Bastion said then continued to lead her, he never took his eyes off her except the occasional time to make sure he wouldn't run into anything as he walked around.
"I could go for one of those right now, the camp food is pretty amazing actually. I don't think I could ask for much better, though I'm more of a homemade pizza's kind of guy. I really like vegetables on my pizza. Raisa Briggs Daughter of Hypnos She looked at him then waved off his comments about him being responsible for her losing her train of thought. "Oh please don't think that way. Your not a distraction if anything my thoughts have always been a little jumbled at times. you know like one of those giant crossword books that you have to find all the words." She looked a bit more focused at this point though she still looked tired. "I think this is the best place ever so far. People at my school look at me funny and the teachers and administrators think my head is always in the clouds. How silly is that when even though clouds are pretty they are also very scary at times." she blushed slightly, "Sorry I didn't mean to kind of throw that at you." "I'm glad the food is good. Pizza is always good though I have had some that weren't as tasty but that's rare to find. Have you ever had your pizza with alfredo sauce and veggies? Its the best thing I have ever had though a cookie pizza is right up there with it." She grinned as her stomach growled in protest to her food thoughts. "Huh maybe I will get that instead of the burger now. I can eat burgers anytime during the summer that is if they have that kind of pizza here." she paused, "So are the cabins here comfortable and roomy?"

Son of Hermes"Money... Money money money money... money money money money money money... money... Bastion sighed and chuckled softly as he felt a minor feeling of relief when she had said it was not his fault.
"Oh whew, hearing that is like a breath of fresh air, I don't really like being a burden to others at the same time I kind of enjoy being a neusance to some people..."
Bastion said then quickly jumped again and held his hands out and waved them, like a man trying to stop a train before it hit him.
"Not that I want to be a burden to you, I don't believe I'd want to be because you're nice so far. And... Yeah this place is pretty awesome, though I'm not used to being in the outdoors, and I've never been to a camp before."
Bastion said then settled his arms back to his side and breathed for a moment, he started talking a bit faster than his normal speed. He looked over at her then started walking normally and he walked besides her.
"I like cookie pizza's I could eat a whole cookie pizza, I like sweets, I've always had a sweet tooth and my mother says if I eat too much I'll get fat, yet I'm still one of the scrawniest kids I know. Oh and the cabins are absolutely fantastic, each one is decorated to their gods and it's o so unique. Raisa Briggs Daughter of Hypnos She smiled warmly at Bastion, "Your not a burden at all. In fact you have been nothing but nice to me and you are a very nice person yourself." Raisa thought for a moment then added, "I have never actually been to any form of camp either. In fact it wasn't till a few years ago that I even heard about this place but I like being outside as long as the weather is beautiful." Raisa walked for a few minutes looking around realizing she should have been paying more attention to her surroundings as they walked towards the Dining Pavilion. She then looked back to Bastion, "My mother told me that I was going to rot my teeth out on such a sweet treat. They are indeed a wonderful treat that I could eat every day." she paused wondering about each cabin then she asked, "So each cabin has its own design based around the gods. Wow that is incredible and so cool." Raisa found herself staring a bit at Bastion then she nodded, "Oh I cant wait to see the pavilion!" She looked ahead and began dreaming about what her fathers cabin would be like. Would she be the only daughter of Hypnos or would there be others. Then she began wondering if there was another child of Hypnos would that be her sister or brother? She yawned deciding she would cross that road when she came to it. Now she had to focus on what was going on now. She glanced back to Bastion, "So what cabin do you stay in and what does it look like?"

Son of Hermes"Money... Money money money money... money money money money money money... money... Bastion smiled as she smiled at him, it was quite nice interacting with this girl. She was nice, they had allot in common, then they had even more in common. Maybe this situation wasn't as bad as he thought it was.
"The outdoors are nice, I've always been more of an inside person but the outdoors have been kind to me... or at lelast not bad to me. Then again nature isn't a sentient being unless we're talking about plants in which case they're sentient but... Well you get what I mean."
Bastion said making odd hand gestures as he spoke and he couldn't seem to even hold still from his position as he walked, the energy he spoke with about this camp was almost unrivaled.
"I miss that, my mother telling me silly little things like that. My mother would constantly tell me things like, if you eat the seeds of a watermelon a watermelon will grow in your stomach. And when I was younger I always believed her, I spent three years of my life afraid of seeded fruits... OH! I forgot to say that while I was introducing myself, crap. I'm a son of Hermes, quite honestly the cabin is less than stellar, really drab, Hermes children used to be neglected allot so we were given the cabin that used to host all of the unclaimed children. And apparently we weren't worth spending a week to renovate the place. But don't worry I'm sure whatever cabin you're in will be fine. Unless you yourself are a child of Hermes, in which case you won't like the cabin."
Bastion said as they walked up to the dinning pavilion and he opened the door for her.
