 October 25-26At the outskirts of Palisade, there is a huge facility often milling with people even at night. A bloodstock auction house, repository, gentlemen’s club, and sports rendezvous, Collinwoods brings together the nobles and the incredibly rich, mingling politics and sport. For two days, Tristan Collinwood himself, son of Collinwoods founder, Edmund Collinwood, will be auctioning off a set of beautiful horses that come from the most prestigious lines. The auctions will be held periodically so to accommodate the busiest of schedules. Schedule
Friday, October 25th
Auction #1: 1:00 pm PST/4:00 pm EST
Auction #2: 3:00 pm PST/6:00 pm EST
Auction #3: 5:00 pm PST/8:00 pm EST
Auction #4: 9:00 pm PST/12:00 am EST
Saturday October 26th*

Auction #2: 7:00 pm PST/10:00 pm EST
Auction #3: 9:00 pm PST/12:00 am EST
Monday October 27th

You may only win one guardian
Proxies are allowed, however you may not proxy and play for yourself at the same time (you can proxy during one “auction” and then play for yourself in another)
Game play works as follows:
I will roll a one (1) twenty (20) sided die every ten (10) minutes
You will then make a prediction of whether or not you will roll higher or lower than me by filling out the form below and rolling a twenty (20) sided die
If you guessed correctly, you will make it to the next round of rolls, if you didn’t, you will be eliminated
If you fail to roll within the ten (10) minutes given, you will be automatically eliminated though you may try again later if there is another “auction” to take place
In absolutely no circumstances may you edit your post after its been posted; this is grounds for immediate elimination for that “auction” and the entire game
If you roll and forget to predict, predict and reroll in another post; if you predict, but forget to roll, just post again with the appropriate roll and make a note that you forgot to roll in the post.
The game will continue until only one (1) player remains
In the case that the two players are still in after six (6) rolls against each other, I will roll one (1) twenty (20) sided die, then the two finalists will roll one (1) twenty (20) sided die. To win in this situation, the player must exceed my roll and their opponent’s. (ex: If I roll 15 and the two players roll 14 and 3, no one wins, but if one rolls 16 and the other 10, then the player who rolled 16 would win) Form to use:I will roll [b]HIGHER/LOWER[/b].

It is the first auction of the day.
Tristan Collinwood steps up to podium and a hush falls over the auction house. Soon the voices will rise again as people begin to bid, but for now that watch him.
"Welcome to Collinwoods. Today's first auction is for this bay stallion. He is in prime shape and will be sure to serve you well, be it for leisure or racing."
The stallion is led around on a lead, head held high and ears forward and alert. There is something stately about his gait. When stallion and handler finish the round, Tristan smiles and says.
"Let's start the auction shall we?"

Bidders have to be careful when there are several horses that they may want going up in the same short period of time. Horses are expensive and even the richest man cannot have every horse he wants.
Tristan stares out at the sea of people, watching the bids and already, one man is outbid and it seems he will not be able to bid again, at least not now.
Nodding, Tristan calls out the highest bid, searching for higher.

As the bids climb higher, more and more drop out. Tristan nodded. First auctions were sometimes the most difficult to run.

After a short break, Tristan had returned to the stage. Again the voices fell as he prepared to start the auction. He nodded out to the audience and then at the handler standing at the side. He cleared his throat before beginning, "Welcome back! For our second auction today, we have a beautiful speckled mare! She is a beautiful creamy white with darker points. She comes from a prestigious line of racers and is sure to be fast on the track!"
The handler led the mare around. Her family's racing background was clear even when she was only walking.
