He'd gotten a moment of respite on shift change, and had tucked himself into a corner where he could sit quietly and take notes out of a book from the library. There wasn't a whole lot available about solar or hydroelectric power. He'd picked up one of the few texts he thought looked like it could be useful and was now sorting through it for information that might be usable for the island's power grid.
Come to think of it, he'd need to find out how the power grid here was laid out and supplied, how much power it took, and how the runic energy interacted with normal electricity. He hadn't gotten a close look at the runestones, nor did he know much about the runes at all. He flipped back to the first page of the notebook with a sigh and started jotting down a list of subjects he'd need to educate himself about before he could really get started working on a proposed solution to the problem.
