Mable Sparkman
"The back up plan is already happening. If he goes after me or anyone else the entire group is now liable to jump him. That or he is forced to calm down. Either way, it is settled."
Sparkman was use to not being herd, she actually didn't expect Suta to respond at all, though she had hopes that her question would reach to him since it was just those two who were around. Sparkman's eyes widened a bit as he actually responded to her question, and much to her surprised it was pretty straight forward as she thought about what he was trying to do, thinking about his actions and his response, Sparkman simply looked over at the cadet in bewilderment. Watching cadet Toho heading towards town, Sparkman looked back at where everyone else was at the little social hour that they were having as she thought about it for a moment, looking back over to Suta, she could see that he was further ahead. Sparkman turned around and started to head back to the party, but something nagged at her to stop as she turned around and thought some more about this other cadet, he seemed a bit odd to her though this wasn't that big of an issue, Sparkman quickly changed her thoughts as she decided to catch up with the quiet cadet. As Sparkman was able to catch up with Suta she was trying to remember the question and reason for even fallowing him before it came to mind, "Um...I'm sorry for bothering you but, I didn't quite catch your name earlier...Kind of silly for me to fallow you all the way out here just that, but I knew if I simply walked away it would have driven me nuts." Sparkman implied with a small chuckle as she recalled never introducing herself as she was too preoccupied at the situation that had unfolded from earlier.

It came to a surprise that the women known as Sparkman had pursued Suta as he made his way into the city. She didn't seem to be a largely brave type, if he was to make a quick assesment of her, but that wasn't to say she was a coward either. What did seem strange though was that the woman didn't really know what to say to him, or at least thats the feeling he got from her as she blurted out that the reason she followed him was to learn his name.
Suta turned to her, his cold blue eyes staring into hers in almost as though he was trying to figure out whether she was lieing or not. Then to what would be called the closest thing to a raised eye brow Suta could give he responded with "It's Sutaku. If you are going to follow me then I should let you know I'm going to a tavern. Perhaps I'll be able to learn more about you there". With that he quickened his pace as he made his way through the crowds and streets. It wouldn't be hard to keep up with Suta though or spot him out of a crowd.
In a few minutes Suta entered into a tavern, going to one of the tables in the corner as he made himself comfortable. No one really paid the cadet any mind as it was full of odd looking individuals here and there, everyone seemed to be welcomed. In the low light Suta would close his eyes and relax, wondering if Sparkman would follow him this far.

Mable Sparkman
"Sutaku..." Sparkman mentally thought to herself as she simply smiled at the other cadet, as he mentioned going to a tavern, Sparkman's eyes widened slightly as she wore a blank expression, very much interested about getting to know one cadet rather than a whole social gathering, she gripped at her leather journal slightly as she simply nodded to Suta as she fallowed him to the tavern, barely keeping up as she wondered why this certain cadet always seemed to be in a hurry, or perhaps she was simply going at a bit of a slower pace. Making her way to the tavern she fallowed Suta over to a seat as she took a seat by him as she held her journal close.
"Well...You must think I'm already a bit odd..." Sparkman implied with a nervous chuckle. "To be honest, since I fallowed you into town I pretty much got myself lost, I don't really know much about these parts." Sparkman added as she took a look around the tavern as it reminded her very much of the one her and her grandparents ran back home, only this one she was in now is a bit more polished up, Sparkman quickly snapped out of her thoughts however as she realized that she hadn't even introduced herself. "Oh! Pardon me for being rude, The name's Mable Sparkman...but Sparkman is just fine, and it's a pleasure to meet you Sutaku. " Sparkman introduced as she held her hand out to Suta for a hand shake.

Bravery must have been something of a inspiration to the girl as she pushed onwards to learn about Suta. He again expected her to reject the offer but out of curiosity or sheer boredom the women had followed and was taking her chances. Maybe she wanted to learn more about him, maybe she had other motives, Suta didn't particularly care either way.
After listening to her stumble through a few thoughts and finish off with a introduction. He raised a eye brow though, which was a huge leap forward from his stone expression, at her last name. "Sparkman.....i'd call that a odd name but I wouldn't be one to talk" Suta said in a almost amused tone as he stared at her for a few moments. After the awkward stare he would run his fingers through his hair and would relax into his chair, his face loosening a bit as he made himself comfortable.
Ordering a couple of coffees Suta would rest his eyes as he asked "So what is your story Mable?". Well she had asked him to call her Sparkman he felt it was more formal the other way, besides this might be his chance to get a few things off of his chest that had been bugging him ever since he arrived.

Mable Sparkman
Sparkman couldn't help but chuckle at Suta's response to her name, "Yeah, I guess I can see why it would be an odd name to be called by." she replied between her small chuckles as she stared down for a moment, looking at her journal as she then looked over at Suta with a small smile.as he ordered a couple of coffees, before asking her a question. Sparkman's eyes widened a bit as she wasn't really use to anyone calling her Mable other than her grandparents. Asking her what her story was, Sparkman took her gaze off of Suta as she stared at her journal for a moment. "Well there really isn't too much to say about me...I just decided not to serve tables and become someone's wife, instead I enrolled in the military to take over for my old man." Sparkman replied with a warm smile as she thought fondly of the man she had never met, but according to all the stories and memories shared, she could of only imagined how great of a father he would of been. After a few moments of silence and looking another way, she then looked up from her journal as she took her gaze towards Suta, " I hope I answered your question, what about you? You look like the kind of guy who has more of a story to tell..." Sparkman implied meekly as she started to relax more and turned more and more of her attention towards this guy, at first glance he looked like the kind of guy who wasn't even interested in people and here he was making conversation, though it was slightly awkward that both him and Sparkman seem to be just as socially awkward with one another at the moment, still, this beat trying to socialize with a whole bunch of cadets at once with a bombardment of different personalities.

Suta didn't really believe that there wasn't much to say about her. Every person had some sort of history, plain sounding or not, that was filled with drama and events. As a matter of fact it would be more surprising if she truly had nothing important of a past as a perfect life is rare if it even were to exsist. She also had what appeared to be a journal out, which made Suta hesitant for a few moments when she asked about him. Well he had no issues with his past it being recorded might be bad for him, especially if it were discovered by others. It wasn't that he didn't trust her it was more he didn't trust people to not find it.
"That depends. If you are going to write it down that I don't think I could tell you it" Suta said evenly as he waited for her to make the decision. Hopefully she would put the book away, otherwise he'd just have to keep his mouth shut.

Mable Sparkman
Sparkman kept her eyes on Suta though he barely showed it, there was something that was bothering him though she didn't know what, did she not give him a good answer, she could try to explain her own story but it wouldn't go really far, considering it was nothing but angst and getting her a** beat by the other kids in her neighborhood just because of her skin color compared to their own along with being spat at by her own customers in the tavern, going through the military and finishing what her father wanted to do sounded much more pleasant. hearing Suta talk made Sparkman snapped out of her thoughts as she didn't get what he meant at first. "Write it down? Why would I write it down? What would I-" Sparkman caught herself as she looked down at her journal. This must of been what he meant as her eyes widened before looking over at Suta with more of an understanding as she placed her journal down on the table before taking off her jacket and wrapping the journal in it with care before then placing it down on the ground between her feet. "I assure you I don't write that kind of stuff in my journal, but I still apologize if I made you uncomfortable in any way..." Sparkman apologived as she leaned forward to put an elbow on the table as her chin rests against her hand.

Suta was glad that she realized what he was talking about and understood why. It wasn't that he disliked being quoted, it was just this particular set of sensitive information. After a few moments of thinking he would find his place to start his history, adjusting his chair as the started.
"Well I grew up outside of the wall. I lived in a cave system with a small tribe of people, we were deep enough inside of the cave that the titans themselves couldn't reach us. The difference though with the tribe was that they didn't fear the titans, they worshiped the monsters. Our entire society revolved around learning about them and treating them like gods. At the time I was not much more then 10 so I never really questioned why we were worshiping these giants, or why I was never allowed to see them" Suta would say, voice showing signs of anger or disgust as he spoke. "One of the largest parts of our culture was that every year there would be a chosen individual who would get to ascend to the titan world. Very few people ever were able to witness this besides the elders so it held a great mystery to a lot of us. The last year I was there though two were chosen, my sister and I. They carved our skin into the ceremonial markings, a great honor to some but at such a age the pain was unbareable. After we left the sight of the crowds though things changed drastically. Before we were being showered with admiration and praise, once out of view the priests said nothing and often forced us to move faster ahead. We were lead to a chamber and thrown in before they closed the door on us, trapping us at the surface mouth of the cave. It only took a few moments for the titans to find us....or rather my sister. Out of fear I hid and watched as they devoured her. I was in a crack that I managed to slip into so the titans couldn't reach me or even see where I was so once my sister was eaten they left. When the door was opened I managed to slip past the priests and make my way to a storage closet. After that I don't remember much....I took a weapon and killed the priests that were in the way. From then on I must have told the tribe what was really happening and after a short discussion we would have all left. Next thing I remember I was being taken into the wall, covered in blood" Suta finished, his face back to the usual blank expression it held.

Mable Sparkman
To see that Suta had appericiate what she did with her journal made Sparkman have a small smile on her face as she looked towards Suta who had began to tell his story. Sparkman was definably one for good judgement as she knew that he would have a story to tell, however she had no idea what kind of story she was even in for as she listened to Suta tell his own historiy. By the time Suta had finished talking more about himself, Sparkman's eyes were wide open as her mouth was a bit ajar as she had a slightly horrified expression on her face with a hint of sadness. " I knew you had a story to tell, but good Lord..." Sparkman commented as she was almost speechless, now understanding why he seemed so uneasy when he saw her holding that journal, she simply expected something similar to her story with a bit more twists, but something like this was way out of the ordinary, which could explain his actions back at the barracks when he tried to knock out the drunk, not saying he learned that behavior from the people he grew u around but simply his upbringing that made him think a bit differently. "So how are you holding up now?" Sparkman couldn't help but asked as a waitress passed by with the coffees that had been ordered earlier.

Suta stayed quiet for a few moments after he was finished, his eyes showing that he was into deep thought. It had been so long since he had thought of his past as seriously as this he almost didn't believe it himself now that he was telling it to someone else. Only when she asked how he was holding up was he brought out of his daze and his face would turn to a from. The man lifted his gloved hands in front of him before taking them off, revealing the skin underneath. The skin itself had what seemed to be a large elaborate scar that ran almost over the entire hand, all in tribal designs.
"I am okay. The only thing I still carry from my past are these markings.....fair enough to say it causes some looks when I cover it with make up but it's better then if I just walked around showing it off" Suta said as he starred at his scarred hands. What was in his eyes at that point could almost be called sadness, but it wasn't that in reality.
He had no issue with what had happened in the past. The only thing he hated from the past was that he would forever be forced to remember it because the scars would never fade.

Mable Sparkman
Sparkman kept her eyes on Suta as he had stood quiet for a moment, her eyes widened slightly as she felt that she may have said something wrong as she didn't mean to pry on how he was feeling now since then, though she wouldn't be sure how else to ask from the curiosity, as he talked about his scars, her mind still lingered on his story. Looking over at the cup of coffe that was in front of her, Sparkman reached out and pulled it close to her as she added creme and a lot of sugar. Sparkman tried to say something as she looked over at Suta, but whenever she opened her mouth, she closed it as she wasn't sure what to say, or rather she was more afraid that she would say something wrong. After an awkward moment of silence, Sparkman looked away from Suta as she turned to her coffee and took a sip.
"Huh, those scars, I can see why you would find them bothersome, but you know, you should try to shift your focus when you look at them since they're always in your face, you have been through a lot, and here you are, in the military and holding out strong, or at least that's the vibe I'm getting from you...Maybe that's a way you can look at them, though i know you can't really erase your memory..." Sparkman finally implied as she looked down at her coffee, once again she felt as if she chosen the wrong words as her brows furrowed a bit before relaxing as she felt the heat of the mug in her hands "So...Let me guess, are you going to join the Scouting Legion?" Sparkman asked as she slowly looked back up at Suta, watching him closely as he looked at his hand as she gripped at her coffee some, she thought that he seemed a bit uncomfortable dwelling on the past, so she tried to change the subject that would focus more on the upbringing of what was to come later on.
