History: Zura was orphaned at a young age. He was born a twin to his sister Cera, younger then him by 5 minutes. They were left out on the streets were there parents were murdered by bandits. Up until their murder, both Cera and Zura were going to school, both at the top of their class. They lived a happy life. But when that day happened, their entire lives changed dramatically. Zura went deep into himself, Cera did her best not to fall in deep with him. Zura did his best to take care of them as they fended off creatures of the night while sneaking into warm places to steal food and heat. On their 15th birthday, they were taken in by a group of mercinaries. They were trained to be fighters, Zura was a natural, Cera....was sadly not. She was to scholarly. They laughed and made fun of her, Zura no longer cared. They pillaged, killed, raped, and stole from whoever they pleased. Cera begged Zura to stop, but he had no more heart, there was nothing left for him. His heart had died long ago. It had come for the final joining test. They put Zura up against his own sister in a fight to the death. Cera stood there and smiled. She was never able to lift the sword. Her last words to Zura were, "I love you brother. Follow your heart and it will guide you to your higher purpose." She closed her eyes and Zura sank his blade into her heart whispering into her ear, "I have no heart." A round of applause and a feast was held in his honor. During the feast, he turned his blade on those who took him in. He had easily out fought them all, none of them being a true match for him. But they out numbered him 100 to 1. They left their marks on him. He was known as Merc from then on from those who knew him. He sold his blade for bounty. He didn't care what the job was, as long as there was money involved. He eventually took a job that was out of his league. He was too assassinate the Kage of Kiri. His own kage he grew up with. He was sadly outmatched though and locked up in the dungeons for years. He was tortured mercilessly the whole time. But he never gave up, his fire never died. He went in at 17, left at 22. When he was finally free, he rammed his hand through the kages eye socket and ripped it out, then quickly locked his teeth into the kages jaw and ripped out her throat. Her death was slow through suffocation and blood loss. He killed her guards and fled from kiri. But his slow agony didn't end there. His body was left with the marks of thousands of scars and bruises. He despised himself. He was starved, on the brink of death himself, he collapsed in a meadow and awoke several days later to a beautiful young woman. She took care of him, but he had no idea why. She fell in love with him, but he could not return her feelings. His whole life was a giant tragedy, he didn't want to add her to problem. Something he never forgot though, his how she taught him about the true kindness deep down in people. After he was healed up and healthy again, he stayed with her for several years as an ordinary workman. But his lust for adventure could not be quenched. He gave her a kiss on the hand goodbye and left for the world again. He arrived in Konoha where he explained his situation. He was put in charge as a sensei, and has ever sense, took his duties as a teacher seriously, always remembering the girl who taught him to love again.

Used in conjunction with his Kusanagi sword, the blade becomes almost unstoppable. In the hands of a novice, a stepping stone, but in the hands of a master this is a useful teaching method, if not a useful combo.
Fallen Drunk

The fallen drunk is ground-fighting, simply put. It's ground-fighting for the drunken master, however. The user practices fighting while knocked down, whether they're on all fours or flat on the back, if they aren't standing up then they're on the ground. The user will practice basic spastic strikes, a common staple of the style, in an attempt to keep the opponent from gaining an edge. There's no move that's off-limits. Throwing sand, biting, gouging, groin kicks, anything goes.

Just be careful not to slap yourself!

One could call them almost diamond-like. Then they drop, belly-first, onto whatever they want with all the power they can muster.
In conjunction with a wind jutsu to propel them forward, this can create medium-sized craters. A deadly, if ridiculous, technique.
• Hardened state passes as you make contact with a surface.
Dead Drunk Sweep Combo

The user pumps themselves full of chakra, and performs what seems to be a simple leg sweep. Then, once the opponent is swept off of their feet, the user explodes into motion and quickly delivers a kick to the solar plexus, knocking them into the ground with enough force to, if not knock them unconscious, than at least knock the wind out of them. While on the ground, the user proceeds to stomp the victim's face into the floor with enough power to turn that hairline fracture into a full-on broken face. Not a very kind technique.
It should be noted that if the sweep is successful, the rest should fall into place easily.

Dead Drunk Fisticuffs Counter

Just like the Drunken Sweep, this technique works on the same principal; with a few twists. The user grabs the arm of an opponent, blocking whatever blow they would have landed, and proceeds to whale on the victim with impunity. Mainly, this starts with a jab to the throat. Once that is done, and the victim is gasping for breath, the user drops the held hand/arm/leg and goes to town on the body and head of the enemy. With chakra pumping through their arms, the user is hitting much harder than normal. Easily a killing move, or, with some self retrains, a fight-ender.
It should be noted that if the throat jab is successful, the rest should fall into place easily.

Description: The practitioner, unable to penetrate the opponent's defenses, resorts to this final technique. Charging chakra around their arms, a twisting aura is developed which shortly after becomes a powerful rotational force; churning cloth and flesh until they're slowly being mutilated by each spinning strand of chakra.
Barehanded: By harshly pressing their palms against the target, the practitioner releases the rotational force in one large burst. This causes an abrupt "vortex" to fluctuate at the point of impact; shredding everything from flesh to steel.
Weapon: By thrusting their weapon forward, the practitioner releases the rotational force as a "tornado" projectile. Although it dissipates after roughly thirty [30] feet, it penetrates and shreds most anything in its way.

The Shadow Imitation Technique allows the user to extend their shadow for as far as it has sufficient area and shade. Once it comes into contact with a target's shadow, the two merge and the target is forced to imitate the user's movements. Therefore, the two can throw shuriken at each other at the same time if the user desires (of course, to prevent hurting themselves, the user just has to have the shuriken holster in a place where you don't normally have it, like the back, so that the opponent draws nothing when the user draws a shuriken). If the target is out of range, the user can produce a better light source to increase their shadow's size or rely on preexisting shadows for their shadow to freely travel through. It's also possible to split one's shadow, either to trap more opponents at once, or to create a distraction.
The major downside of the Shadow Imitation is that it is tiring to use repeatedly; Hidan notes that the ability is subject to some form of diminishing return and decreases in potency after repeated use (Shikamaru can only maintain it for 5 minutes per use). If the user is low on chakra, the performance rate of the technique also deteriorates. Insufficient lighting will make the technique less effective. This technique is usually used to go through the target and capture them, but depending on the opponent, it can also be used as an attack to bring them down. This special characteristic finds its greatest effect when used as logistical support. After this technique hits someone, it can then be directly transformed back into the Shadow Imitation Technique.

Basically, this technique takes the user's own shadow and transforms and stretches it into countless thin tentacles, which are then used to grab objects and pull them in. Also, one can skillfully make use of the tentacle-shaped shadow tendrils by using them to lift up and throw weapons like kunai and so forth. This technique has many possible applications and uses. There are no hand seals used for this technique, but the hand movements resemble that of Gaara's Sand Binding Coffin.

Similar to the [ Shadow Neck Bind Technique ], these hands are strong enough to strangle or simply snap the neck of those within their grasp.
