The urge to share his decision was so very vast inside of him. Excitement and nervousness almost oozed from his pores as the young boy paced back and forth across the forest floor. It was coming oh so soon.. A new beginning.. A new start at life, a new purpose with a new family! Everything he had been hoping for was answered, and now he was going to be part of something. Something big, something that would save everyone! Even with his arm shattered, and his face darkened by a mark of hate left behind by the Negaverse, he knew that soon, he would not have to be afraid of anyone attacking him anymore. Just peace and good will!
And yet.. Through all this excitement and nerve-wrecking anticipation, there was a bit of regret.. What of his white moon friends? Okay, maybe not so much friends.. There were a few people he'd would want to keep in touch with, even if they weren't official allies anymore. Atleast with the Dark Mirror Court, their goals weren't to kill other senshi, simply let them know the truth, and they certainly did with him. Maybe he could convince a few of the people he had met through his journey as a White Moon Senshi to come with him or atleast, to keep an open mind when it came to his change. It wasn't surprising, though, when there were only a few names he truly recognized in his phone. But there was one there, one who did answer when he called out for them before. He hadn't seen the girl since there training session that went sour.. It was worth a shot, as much as anyone.
Hey, I was wondering if you had time to talk? If you can, I'll be at that one lake, the one we fell into around midnight. I'd like to see you again, if you don't mind. Whether or not she would come, that was yet to be seen.
Shanyume It's still technically her birthday on the west coast, right? biggrin

The sound of her phone vibrating on her nightstand next to her head roused Mei from her evening nap. It was her birthday today and the only thing she found herself wanting to do was sleep. A part of her wanted to ignore the text, to just roll back over and cover her head with her down feather comforter... But she didn't. Whipping the sleep from her eyes, Mei swiped her fingers over her touch screen to unlock her phone. To say she was surprised to see who the text was from was a bit of an understatement Avior? Given how things ended the last time they met she doubted she would hear from the Super Senshi again. Yeah, sure! Just give me 15 minutes - send Much like before Mei began the escape ritual of slipping out of her bedroom window so she could power up away from her house before bounding over rooftops towards the woods where she first met Avior. From there she began her trek towards the lake, the former excitement of running through the trees not present this time. Though she had only been there once she was fairly confident she was heading in the right way. There was a cold n** in the air that made her wish she had the forethought to grab a blanket to wrap around herself, this sailor fuku did nothing in terms of offering warmth. Once she was able to pick up on his aurora, she used it like a lost traveler would use the north star to find their way through familiar yet unfamiliar territory. Not wanting to startle the boy she approached slowly "Avior?" Curiosity is what got her out of bed, and brought her here. What did he want to say here that he couldn't text over the phone?

The wonderful thing about finding peace in a place that you love was that if anything changed around you, even the slightest sound, you would notice. As soon as Mei was nearby, Avior turned to face her direction, alerted by the rustle of recently fallen leaves and small twigs snapping under her feet.
The boy was never one to completely feel alright with the darkness that came with the night, so in his hands he held a little battery powered lantern. He had always felt that the soft glow of these lanterns, so reminiscent to the flicking and dancing lights of a real fire brought much more comfort than a flashlight could. It was not as harsh, not as bright as the while light that flashlights gave off, and it made the entire world feel so kind and warm, breaking through the night easily, but with no real suspicion to the dangers that could lurk within it.
"Hello, Sìdòuèr, I'm glad to see you doing well." The after setting down the lantern so that he was not so harsh to look at, Avior reached out his left hand in greeting. His right arm was bandaged up tight, in a sling up against his body, and the left side of his face, partially covered by his hair, was darkened significantly with bruises. Despite the slight pain any expression caused, Avior smiled at the girl, partially in a fond greeting, and partially amused at how well she stood out from the darkness that surrounded her, and even more so when she stepped into the glow of his lantern. She was not as dark as him, by any definition. Certainly she did not really understand the darkness as well as he did, for her very essence, her very starseed was bathed in light, just as the power she held within herself. Of course, there was nothing wrong with that, nothing at all.
"How are you doing?" Small talk was always fine with him, in fact, he preferred the small amount of ice breaking, especially when he hadn't seen someone in so long.. And since they left on a rather one-sided sour note .
Shanyume I thought it was night time! *just saw she woke up from her 'afternoon nap'. XD

Avior stood out in front of her, perfectly silhouetted by the lamp he set down behind him just a moment ago. Instinctively yet tentatively, Sidouer reached out and took Aviors hand in her own. "I'm doing" she hesitated for a fraction of a section, searching for the right word. Her mind unfortunately drawing a blank she settled on "alright..." Looking her friend over, Sidouer carefully reached up with her left hand to brush Avior's bangs from his face. Her expression and mood quickly changed to worry and concern. Finally, she released a breath she hadn't realized she had been holding and asked "What happened? Who.. who did this to you?" It took a significant amount of effort to not bombard him with the numerous questions that raced through her mind.

Any warmth that would have been felt through Sìdòuèr's hand was lost through the touch of their gloved hands. Shame, really, as he missed the grip of a kind, friendly hand. Lately, it only seemed that the touches he received were ones intended to cause pain, to break bones and spirits. He could not say that he didn't flinch when the girl's hand came up to his face, not in fear of her or discomfort, but from the unfamiliarity of someone being so gentle with his wounds. When he arrived him from right after he received his injuries there were no kind, concerned words offered. Just angry curses of the potential of bringing scandal to his household.
"Oh, you know, a Negaverse who didn't want to listen to reason, just wanted to fight, is all. It's all right, though. I'll be right as rain within a few weeks. Senshi healing and what not, you know." That was the truth. He estimated it would only be about two weeks, at the most, before he could use his arm again. It wasn't as if he was doing anything TOO difficult at the moment anyway.
"But that's nothing you should be concerned about, not at all. I wanted to tell you something. You see.. You're the only Senshi I've met more than once. And I like you; if we were to have spent more time together, I think I could even trust you with my life, yet that is not the case.. I could atleast warn you of something, to tell you my story, my discoveries, and my decisions, that is.. If you're willing to listen."
Shanyume Looks like my post never went through this morning. I'm so sorry to have kept you waiting.

His flinch didn't go unnoticed, it stung a little, almost like he expected her to strike him. She withdrew her hand almost like she had been burned, believing that his reaction to her touch was an unwelcome gesture. His attempts to ease her mind by telling her that he would be alright in a few weeks were less than comforting physically maybe... but those aren't the only wounds we get in battle. It was the emotional wounds that sometimes leave the ugliest scars, they are easy to hide yet hard to recover from. "Yes of course! I'll listen. But... why don't we sit down, I really don't think you should be standing in your current condition." She motioned to one of the fallen trees that looked like it would serve as a good bench. "I'll get the lamp, you go ahead and take a seat."

"In my current condition? My legs are fine, it's my arm that's a wee bit banged up. I'm not exactly doing hand stands right now, so I'll be fine, but thank you." At her suggestion, he went to sit on the tree trunk, leaning back a bit to gaze up at the starry sky.
"You know, for some reason, when I was younger the stars always brought me such comfort. Now I look up there, realizing so many things about the way the universe works, the way everything goes down.. And I'm filled with nothing but grief.. Tell me, have you visited your world yet? Have you learned the story of how your planet came to an end..?"

Sidouer walked over, and picked up the lamp. A small sigh escaping her lips, a tinge of sadness graced her shadowed features "I'm sorry, I didn't mean it like that" all she meant was that he shouldn't be putting any strain on his body no matter how minor it may be. Taking a seat on the fallen tree next to Avior, she leaned backwards putting her weight on her arms and gazed up at the stars, listening as he spoke. "No I've never been there" she responded while shaking her head, scanning the heaves for her home. "I have visited someone elses though. One of Jupiters moons. It was beautiful, empty... but beautiful." Kallichore... green as far as the eye could see, the air so pure. Sidouer closed her eyes and took in a deep breath. "Why do you ask?"

"If you've never been there.. I warn you to steel yourself.. The one world you saw, it may have been beautiful, but not all of them are so. I visited my home world not too long ago, and there were horrors there that I could barely fathom to have existed." As frightening and terrifying it was to him to think about his poor home, he could not stop, the words flowing out of him as easily as poured water.
"My home was dry... Parched and cracked and blazing hot, like the deserts here as on Earth, Though it was not always so. My home was surrounded on every side by these huge, scaling walls, and it seemed that they could have never been brought down. Yet there they were, shattered and crumbling in that dry waste land. They were copper colored, the stones that were used. I climbed that wall, so naturally, using the walls I summon to launch myself up to the very top. It must have been a quarter mile high.." A faint smile danced on his lips in fondness.. Avior could easily say he felt pride in his people, being able to accomplish such a feat..
"Once I reached the top, I found that beyond the wall was a vast, unending sea, ships everywhere, giant fish and birds all over. But there was no water. The boats stranded in their places, and the fish and birds all dead. And I wept, for I could not understand exactly what happened. Only that something came in and broke down my city's beloved walls, and stole every last drop of water from the sea.."
"But that was not the worst part.. No, no not by far.. I found a statue there. One that seemed realistic, just as a person frozen in time. My hand reached out to touch it, and it crumpled to dust, a single flower blooming from the base of their neck. That's when I realized. Every single person in that city had a bloom. Every person in the city was still there, just.. Just dead, turned to these easily destroyed ash statues. Children and mothers and merchants and nobles. Men and beast.. All turned to these figures that collapsed at the smallest touch. Some seemed so happy, some were sleeping.. No one saw what would happen coming." He paused for a moment, sighing, recalling what happened next. Though he did not speak it, he was grateful for the girl to listen to him.
"I made my way to the giant palace in the center of the city, and followed this odd staircase within it, all the way to the bottom. There was a room there, where these sort of.. Hieroglyphic writing was, detailed etched pictures into slabs of stone.. And there was one skeleton left in this world, surrounded by glowing dust.. I saw a vision, of the very last thing he did, and that was finish a mural above where his body lied. By far.. It was the most terrifying thing there." Avior's eyes turned to meet Sìdòuèr's, gazing into them with a lurk so hurt and unsure.. Should he even tell her? There was no harm in doing so, right? It was not as if she had any part of such a thing..
"The mural showed of a man.. Much like myself.. He looked so much like me that it was terrifying. And he wore clothing like mine, as if he were the past Sailor Avior.. And he laid dead, bloodied on the ground, with the wall in the distance in pieces. And above him stood a senshi. Another WHITE moon senshi, with some sort of horn in his hands. At that moment, a memory returned to me.. Someone, some senshi of horns tore down my home worlds walls, killing everyone inside."

Sidouer sat in silence, listening intently as Avior's internal walls came down brick by brick as he opened up to her about his home world. Moments passed, the chilled Fall breeze kissed the bare skin on her arms and legs leaving goose bumps in it's wake. As he went on she found it progressively harder to find any words to console him. The sound in his voice, a mix of sadness and pain and at times anger, made her heart wrench. There were many points while he was speaking when she wanted to so desperately reach out and wrap her arms around the senshi of walls, to let him know he's not alone, to offer him a shoulder to cry on should he need it. But she didn't, her arms lay still at her sides the entire time while her eyes searched the depth of his pained blue eyes, almost pleading with him to answer her unspoken questions What can I do? What... can I say?. Instead she remained silent her expression shifting ever so slightly from sadness at what remained on his home word, to shock at the revelation that the destruction came from a White Moon senshi. "Are you sure it was a White Moon senshi? That they weren't being controlled?" she spoke softly. There was no doubt in her mind that what he saw on the wall was another senshi. She had only met a few of them since moving to Destiny City; some were support Persephone, some were offensive Kallichore, some were defensive Phact, while others seemed to be a mix of the above myself. Regardless, it didn't stop Sidouer from wishing that whatever he saw was a mistake or that a piece of the puzzle was missing no White Moon senshi would attack another home world to destroy it... Would they? This just doesn't make any sense.

"I had initially considered that as well. I hoped against any possibility of that memory being true... I wanted to believe so hard that another senshi wasn't the cause of my world crumbling down, and yet the memories I saw while within the palace painted a story far too real.. Avior was a planet of wealth. Full of rich, precious metals and covered by an ocean far more vast than the one here, on Earth. But.. Think about it.. Why do wars start here on Earth? Greed, pride, and a hand that wished to rule all... That Senshi of horns, from whichever star they came from, was given orders to steal our wealth, and used plants from there home to drain my planet dry. It was.. It is the epitome of what can happen when an invasive species comes to a place it doesn't belong."
He mourned his homeworld, yes.. But more than anything else, Avior wished to protect his new home.. Would the girl beside him honestly understand this? Would she not judge him for deciding to change away from this initial ideal that was planted in his mind in the very beginning? They boy looked down at his glove covered hand, imagining all of the scratches and scars that were there just because people hated him for something he could not control.
"I began thinking.. Why am I here? Who am I to serve? The White Moon Queen, a woamn who claims she is right in her ways, but hasn't even bothered to appear before us? Why would my planet, over six hundred light years away, car about an insignificant moon in the sky of a planet? Why should I care about their tragic story that I was dragged into? I should have remained dead, not here, on a planet that has no room for me, apparently." Did the girl beside him understand? She was older than him, with freedoms he, at sixteen, Did not have. He mind must be so less clouded than his own before, right? Or maybe wisdome didn't come with age.
"Why are we fighting? To protect Earth? Yes, while that may be true, so is The Negaverse. Though their means may be much more violent, their purpose is the same. Defend the homeland from the invading species. And who is the invading species? Senshi. But it's not our choice to be here, not at all. If those cats hadn't awaken us, we would have been human, just like everyone else. We STILL are human, just.. Not the ones that belong here.. And instead of trying to help us understand that, and to help us relocate somewhere else, we are relentlessly attacked and murdered by the disillusioned Negaverse who's mindset is simply to 'exterminante'.
"I can't bring myself to say I understand everything, but I can say that I'm willing to change who I am, even at the very core, to finally bring peace to this world, since I could not for my own."

Sidouer's head tilted a bit to the side,"I don't really have any idea who the White Moon Queen is to be honest. I'm newer to this remember?" She offered him a weak smile and a slight shrug of her shoulders. "But I don't think you were dragged into her story, I think you are here to continue your own. Maybe... maybe you need to do something that you in the past was unable to accomplish?" Not that they were like ghosts or anything who have unfinished business to attend to before crossing over but it was a distinct possibility. She listened to him continue, mindful to not interrupt him. Some things just needed to be said. Once she was sure it was ok to speak, the creme haired senshi leaned back and looked up at the stars again. "I can't tell you everyone else's reason for fighting, only my own. It's not to protect the Earth, no... That's a fairly unrealistic goal for an individual. Maybe in the grand scheme of things with the efforts of friends and allies sure. But on a more personal level, I fight not only for my family but because of my family." She paused taking in a deep breath, opening wounds she wished to ignore. "See people in my family have a history of joining the military. Growing up my father was gone for long periods of time while he was deployed over seas. He willingly put his life on the line for our freedom and safety. I almost... we almost lost him at one pint. And now one of my other family members that I'm really close to has chosen to follow in the same path." She reached up with a white gloved hand to 'get something out of her eye'. I wish you were here Shen... "I figured... if they can go over seas to fight in a war along side allies and comrade's for us, than I can stay here and fight to protect my family, my home, my neighborhood, and maybe... even this city." "My luck since awakening hasn't been the greatest, I've spent a lot of time patrolling alone unfortunately. Many of my encounters with the Negaverse has been more of a ... attack first ask questions if the little senshi is still alive, kind of thing. But I did meet a general that actually spoke to me, he was... kind..." She hesitated saying the last word not really convinced that was the right word to use. "It makes me at least hold onto a bit of hope that maybe, just maybe all those who fight along the side of chaos aren't all evil." "You said you're willing to change who you are? Why do you have to do that? Couldn't you find a new reason instead of sacrificing 'you' in the process." Sidouer looked back at Avior, if only it wasn't so dark out then maybe she might be able to read his expression gain some clue as to where this was going.

"Continuing my own story? So far, it seems that history is only repeating itself. You don't know this, but my family.. I'm actually adopted into it. My real mother and father died during an Earthquake back in India a few years after I was born. In my mind, from what I've learned, is that no matter where I'm placed, the walls that surround me just aren't strong enough." His words came out far more harsh than he would have wanted, but it was quite a bitter thought he was having.
"It's ironic, isn't it? Being the Senshi of Walls, and having your own parents crushed to death when the walls came down during an earthquake. Then finding out that even the walls I built in the past were taken out so easily by another senshi. What use is it to have such power, then having it broken so easily. " He looked to her, almost judging her as she wiped her eyes.
"I'm not here to compare sob stories, or to see who's life is worse. No. I'm simply here to tell you that there is another way. A way to try to make our lives and methods a little less useless than they are now. The difference between the White Moon Senshi, and the Negaverse is how far they are willing to go. The Negaverse.. They will KILL to get to their goals. They will beat and maim and murder to achieve something, whatever their goal is, while the White Moon Senshi take hit after hit after hit, making no progress whatsoever. When was the last time the White Moon ever even made a REAL get together, made any REAL plans. Are we simply to forever be 'defenders'? Enough is enough, I say." Finally taken to his feet, he walked a few steps away from her, looking out at the water nearby; the moons reflection seemed far too bright for it's own good, he'd say.
"Ah.. But you misunderstand me, Sidouer. My mind, my heart.. No, those will not be changed, but my starseed, the very essence of my being, will be doused in chaos. Just enough so that I can join their ranks, small they may be. That's where this third organization comes in. The Dark Mirror Court. They are all senshi who's sole purpose is to find a place where everyone can find peace, even if it means leaving this world. I understand, it's not for everyone, but for someone like me, someone who has nothing quite left to fight for here, it's something. The Negaverse does not readily attack them, in fact, they were KIND to me when I expressed my intent on going to chaos. From what I've learned, they simply want us gone. Think of it this way, the senshi come from all other planets and stars and any other bits of the sky. We are not originally from here. We are not meant to be here. We are like moonflowers. Beautiful, strong, and ever spreading in this country. But they do not belong here. They are suffocating the plants that were here originally, and must be eradicated." Avior paused, turning to look back at Sidouer apologetically.
"No.. No, eradicated is the wrong word, far more violent than intended.. Perhaps.. Relocated. Imagine it, Sidouer! You, and your family, moving to a new planet, one that has been set aside specifically for the Senshi who's own home world has been destroyed! A save haven where there would be no more war between the Negaversers who desire strength to protect this planet and the Senshi who just wish to belong. It's such a wondrous idea! And my prince, he says it's all possible.. He says that we could even, somehow, fix my plant, rebuild those walls, and put together something that is glorious and warm and safe! Don't think that I am trying to convince you to join me. You are your own person, you can make your own decisions, I am certain. But I just wanted you to know that not everything is so hopeless. It doesn't HAVE to be a never ending cycle of random clashes with a side no one is willing to sit down and understand. As a member of the Dark Mirror Court, I want to be a bridge between the White Moon Senshi and the Negaverse."

While he spoke, Sidouer watched him carefully reading his body language. He seemed so...defeated... xxxxxxxx... upset... xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx... lost... xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx...and something... more... xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxHurt It was as if negative things that had happened in his life left him stuck between a rock and a hard place with nowhere else to go. She remained silent as he continued to let it all out, though her lips may have been still, her mind was anything but quiet. Continuing my own story?... History may be repeating itself to give you a second chance to do things differently... to make for a better outcome. My real mother and father died during an earthquake...your own parents crushed to death by walls... That wasn't your fault. Earthquakes happen, it was something completely out of your control. Please please don't blame yourself. I'm sorry this happened but I know your parents wouldn't want you to blame yourself for this. Sidouer chewed on her lower lip to keep from interrupting him. She wanted so desperately to console him in some way, but she didn't. Instead she brought her hands to rest in her lap, the look in her eyes saddened. I'm not here to compare sob stories... Her heart panged with hurt, a sensation similar to how she assumed it would feel being stabbed in the chest, when that comment escaped his lips. That's not why I brought it up... I was just... telling you my reason. The Negaverse.. They will KILL to get their goals... Yes... I know...Unfortunately I've felt their brutality. You are living proof as to how far they will go. But I don't think all of them are that way. Sidouer turned her head toward the direction of town for a brief moment. Remembering the day she met the general after she had left the store. It is true he had said he said he could kill her... but he didn't. He had very bluntly said that he would kill every one of us if he had to, and no she didn't doubt that. Instead he was civil, maybe there's hope... for some of them at least. When was the last time the White Moon ever even made a REAL get together, made any REAL plans? This was no doubt a rhetorical question, however she had to wonder what he meant by 'REAL'. The training session with Maia wasn't that long ago. No there weren't many of us there but I'd still count that as something. She watched as he stood up, pacing in the area between her and the lake. ...my starseed, the very essence of my being, will be doused in chaos... What?!? She mentally yelled, taken aback by his rather dark statement. This conversation was starting to take a turn she hadn't expected, are you crazy!. Her eyebrows furrowed in concern with where he was taking this. You're going to willingly join THEM? She began unconsciously shaking her head slowly not liking where this was going. ...The Dark Mirror Court... Who? She had never heard of this 'Dark Mirror Court' as he called them. But just going off their name Sidouer hoped she didn't encounter them any time soon, their name sounded just as evil as The Negaverse. She listened... she heard what he had to say. About this Court, about how we... she didn't belong here. But she couldn't stay silent when he went on to talking about relocating the senshi. There were just so many things wrong with what he was saying she didn't even know where to begin. "The planets we came from in the past may have been our home in a previous life but this is our home now. We were each born here, raised here. Earth is just as much of our home as our planet in the past life, maybe even more so. It's like saying Destiny City isn't your home, India is..." Sidouer stood up, no longer able to contain the frustration and disbelief. "Whoever it is you spoke to is wrong... You do realize that you wouldn't be exempt from this 'relocation' right? Because once we're gone, the Negaverse will turn on you, the last of the senshi on Earth. They wouldn't let you stay... Have you even thought what would happen if we left? Do you honestly think they will stop powering up? No... some poor civilian will piss one of them off somewhere along the line and they will power up to deal with them. HELL THEY STEAL ENERGY FROM PEOPLE.... CIVILIANS..." Her voice raised in frustration Use your head Avior... "Just like they did at Destiny Con." Sidouer paused for a moment, closed her eyes and inhaled a deep breath of cold fall air to calm down. The last thing she wanted to do on her birthday was yell at a friend but what he said was wrong... "Can you look at me and honestly tell me that you would be ok saying good bye to your family, the people who have been caring for you? Because honestly I can't. They have nothing to do with this stupid war so why should they be forced to leave Earth with us?
You speak of peace and lack of war. But you yourself said that war is what destroyed your planet. What's to stop 'that' from happening again? War will follow us wherever we go." She took a few steps back putting distance between them. If things were bad last time they met, then this time may very well be the end. You can't be this naive.

"If you put it that way, then yes, India IS my home. I did not ask to be taken from there. I didn't wish to come to this country, to somewhere that did not speak what I knew, that was full of strange people who saw me as nothing more than a 'rescued child'. I cannot say what your experiences are, I only know mine, being forced as a child to leave what you knew because 'that was best'. I have yet to be in this city half a year, and I've already seen so much death and terror than I could have seen anywhere else." His words were calm as he responded, shaking his head ever so slightly at her arguments towards him. He knew all too well that he would not be welcomed here on this planet anymore.
"I do realize, yes. And I am fine with that. I never intended to stay either. If we were all to leave, what would make me any different. Can't you see, That's why we need to leave! They steal from their own to make us leave! If we do leave it could break such a cycle from happening! We can put a stop to this." The sounds of his own family being brought up simply turned him bitter to her.
"How can you say that you know that those people had cared for me? You do not know me as a civilian. For all you honestly know, I could be a child who's been abused through all of my life, who has been put on display over and over again like a prized buck from a hunting trip. The people who 'cared' for me have been long dead, my dear." Did she not listen, did she not hear what she had told him before? Perhaps she had been the wrong one to call after all. How close minded could one simple girl be?
"The war that destroyed my planet was caused by a senshi, who invaded my world in search for riches they did not have. But because the world is empty now. Because there is an opportunity to start over fresh, to start over as something brand new, why not give it a chance to blossom. It's not as if there is anyone left there to reject such an idea. They are all dead already. I can see everything so clearly now, I haven't been so sure of something in a long, long time, Sidouer. "
