Liira's face seemed to hold a permanent scowl lately, and especially so after all that went down during the tournament. First of all, she had lost. But not before giving a good licking to some moronic leaf earthling. She gave a small smirk at the thought as her hands continued to move over the stall and its wares.
But more irritating still was all of this talk of war. What good was this going to do anyone? Really. Yeah, she loved the feeling of beating down her opponents, but not in a death match. That was just plain dumb. And a pain in her a** now, too. But she couldn't say that it was bad for business. People were either scrambling to take up arms, which meant weapons purchases; or to leave the area and go as far as they could. Which was where she came in. If they were going to get far away... they would need some warm furs to get them to Zena: the farthest place they could go from the southern tip of Jauhar.
Liira continued to bundle up her furs, her brows furrowing and her hands working like they had been doing this all their lives, as she burrowed further into her thoughts.

It had taken a lot of her strength of will to get her brother to delatch himself from her side. Why he was insistent that they do everything together while they were at the tournament she had no idea. Almost to the point of telling her brother off, his short attention span suddenly became useful as he spotted a stand that was about to close up shop that had plenty of musical instruments. Gaily he moved in that direction, his sister temporarily forgotten. Breathing a sigh of relief to suddenly be able to breath, to think again she looked about her arms across over her chest as she cast her dour look over the stands that were in the process of packing up. Spotting one stand that...looked familiar she strode towards it. Skins. "Are you still open for sales?" She inquried to the young zena woman who was running it, or at least she presumed she was running it.

Liira wrapped tight another bundle of furs, getting the shop ready to take with her when she was approached by a female voice. She looked up long enough to assess who she was talking to, gave her a shooting look of slight exasperation, and then pulled on the strings to the furs, testing their strength before turning back to the girl in front of her. She was aching to point out the obvious that she was plainly not open anymore, but she sighed and knew better. It would be bad for business if she didn't make small sacrifices. "Depends on what you're looking for. Anything still on the table is fair game." Even small sacrifices didn't mean pulling out all of the furs she had already packed away.
She motioned to what was left laying on the table and hanging from the stall's roof. It was slim pickings at this point, but there was enough of a selection to not go without. And hey, if she knew what she was looking for and made a good enough offer, Liira might just be kind enough to pull it out of storage for her. "So you see anything you like or what?" She put a hand on her hip, waiting for the girl to check her stuff out and get on with it. Though she shouldn't be so pushy, this could be a good chance for a break from packing.

Raising an eyebrow at the woman she wondered where exactly she was taught any manners. With an attitude like that how did she expect anyone to buy things from her? Of course....that was exactly why Sin'qua didn't bother with things like that, manners. She had them sure, she knew how to use them, but it was far too much effort to be fake with someone than to just be honest. Of course the woman hadn't directly said anything impolite to her, but Sin'qua was fairly good at reading body language. And her pose...and demeanor was very familiar to her as it was one she often held. Still glancing about the furs so to at least look like she wasn't going to completely waste Liira's time she took a small and deep breath. "I need something small, something I can give my mother as a gift to prove I was at this...waste of a time called a tournament. Most of these furs are familar...they are animals from Zena. Do you have anything more exotic?" She questioned, she held the money for the trip as her brother would of likely squandered it all by this point.

Liira matched Sin'qua's raised eyebrow and stance. It seemed to her that this girl across from her was judging. What fun that was. Liira knew better than to antagonize her customers, but after all of the fighting, she was having a hard time suppressing her want to be... well... overly direct with this girl.
But, Liira was a sucker for money, and this girl sure made a fine request. Exotic. Well, what was more exotic to Zena than tropical jungle critters, right? And they happened to be surrounded by the source of all of these fine furs. Liira sighed and reached under the table and to one of the wrapped bundles under her. "Small is usually a size I don't carry, but I think I can maybe help you out." She moved about some of the bundles and wraps and things before finding the one that she needed.
It was a smaller bundle, but the colors were varied and the furs shorter. "It won't be as plush as Zenan furs, but it's good quality stuff, I can guarantee that." Truth be told, Liira did most of the skinning and prepping lately anyways, so it were her own hands that happened to take down, skin, clean, and fluff the furs she was currently tugging out of the bundle. She laid out the furs, in an assortment of colors and sizes before turning her eyes back to the woman in front of her.

If Sin was any friendlier she probably could of been this girls friend. She liked her no nonsense attitude the fact she could remain professional even when dealing with someone as unpleasant as Sin'qua could be. And her request was a bit unusual, but she was still hopeful. As the furs were brought out, she was pleased to see that Lirra would still bring them out for her to look over. Giving a small grin she looked them over, she ran her fingers over the fur and was surprised to find it was coarse and it was shorter than the furs back home. "So all the furs are like this?" She inquired again as she started to be inclined towards a specific pattern that was zigagged. "What creature did this come from?" Sin'qua asked though even if the woman knew she wouldn't have any idea what the creature would look like. "It seems odd that people would hunt the shorter haired variety..."

Liira watched as the girl's hands ran over the furs - she was not very secretive about her need to protect their quality. She had just ran off a mouse of an Alkidike earlier for putting her grimy hands all over them earlier, but she took a breath to herself and calmed down. These were hardier furs than the ones the Alkidike was grubbing up. She looked up at the girl from the furs again, her arms crossed. Well, if she hadn't been to Jauhar before.
"Have you ever been to Jauhar?" Liira said it straight out, but wasn't intending on mocking her, she just happened to be a little curious about it before she continued. "All Jauhar has is the 'shorter haired variety'. These are from Radaku. They're about the best furs you're going to find on this end of Tendaji, and mine are about the best quality." It was still about the business. She would try to get this girl to make her time worth it. The only animals in Jauhar that even had fur were the radaku, but it meant that color wasn't an issue.
This girl seemed to have much of the same attitude as Liira. Which made this easier on her, but could also turn out badly. "Name's Liira." She was already getting slack and feeling like stretching out her packing. Maybe she could make a friend out of this.

Sin'qua looked to the girl after she asked the question about her traveling. Shaking her heard she continued to examine the furs, "No this is my first time even to this place, we never traveled much from Zena." She continued giving a small smile as Liira proclaimed how the furs she had in her hands were of the 'best quality' and how she had the best furs of any one else that was here. There was something about this girl that made her chortle, after all they both seemed rather prickly towards everyone... When the merchant offered her name she looked up from the furs and to the girl. Liira huh? "Sin'qua." She managed to offer back, giving a small smirk before she handed the fur that was in her hands to the girl. "Well since you managed to convince me, I will take this fur. Its rather interesting and I like the color."

Liira nodded when the girl introduced herself. Her mind was constantly going and analyzing Sin'qua. It was an interesting name for sure, probably with an interesting back story - if Liira was ever in the mood to ask, she might find out more about her, but she didn't feel quite so curious yet.
She smirked when Sin'qua announced the sale. Liira was more inclined to be friendly when she knew that a deal was sealed and she had her pay out of this one way or the other. Good. She accepted the coins from Sin'qua and packed the furs for any traveling the girl might be doing before kicking at her own storage boxes and bundles under the table. "Well now, I'm not feeling too inclined to keep packing up right now." She tossed the coins in her palms while she thought. "You up for desert?" Her father didn't expect her back for a dew days still, so stalling a little wouldn't hurt. Procrastination was something that Liira could be really good at, given the right opportunity. "I've heard there's a sweets stall across the way." She couldn't really shake the feeling that she would end up liking this girl, despite any feelings on whether she wanted to like her.

Sin'qua happily packed away the furs in her own side bag and raised an eyebrow as she noticed that in her own weird way she was enjoying her time with this Liira girl. Okay so perhaps she was just as friendly as she was, and that wasn't entirely friendly, but to be invited to eat sweets? Well she supposed that was friendly enough. "Well so bold to ask me on a date?" She teased as she straightened to look the girl over. Giving a small shrug she chuckled and and then nodded her head. "Alright I could do for some sweets, that is if my brother hasn't already bought them all. He is a bit of an idiot.." She stated with a roll of her eyes before moving to stretch her arms over her head. "Lead on."
