Sathe tugged on one of her braids while her Big Sister crouched in front of her and spoke in comforting whispers. This was only Sathe's third big trip out and she was only just barely five years old. Really, her birthday was yesterday! It was one of the only reasons that her Big Sister had actually let her go to Jauhar with her this time. She was so super excited. The only other time she was in Jauhar before was for the tournament, and that was barely Jauhar at all. Aminah had taken them through the backwards way so that they were in Tale for most of the trip. As she looked around now, she knew that this was real jungle. Big Sister had to keep tugging on her free hand to make her pay attention, all she wanted to do was look around.
But Aminah had to go and take care of some things, so Sathe had to be left alone in the village way up in the sky. All of the shifters lived up in the trees, and it was so high up Aminah was telling her that she had to be very careful. With a big hug her Big Sister turned around to leave, and then she was gone.
Sathe's eyes were big as she looked around the village she was in. It was a whole place up in the leaves. Everything was so bright and spotted with little leafy shadows and colorful. Sathe didn't know where to look first. She hopped up and down in glee and turned around full circle to get her bearings, or lose them, she really didn't know which after she finished spinning. Her eyes stopped on pink crystals and she couldn't believe what she was seeing. Did this boy belong in Tale like Big Sister and her?

It had been a long and eventful journey, wandering around again, and Xolani hadn't even left Jauhur yet! Still, the area had many places to see and do that the mixed breed didn't seem to mind.
However he had promised his father he would check in every now and then, which is why he was currently wandering around in mixed with the other pure blooded shifters. He had just ate with his father and while he rested Xolani decided to entertain himself in some way. That's when he spotted the small child with hair and jewels like a shifter but not the pigmentation of one. How interesting!
He did not approach her any more then where he was, just in case there was an overprotective guardian nearby. He did however give an enthusiastic wave at her, sporting his usual wide grin.

Sathe saw the boy see her and wave and she squealed in delight before waving furiously and speding her way to the boy, avoiding the others who were walking to and from places in the village and making sure not to get too close to the edge. It was a long way down, and Sathe definitely didn't know how to fly. She couldn't even use magic like Big Sister did, so it would not go well for her.
She hopped up and down in front of the boy and laughed with delight. "Hey hey! You look like us!" She squealed and grabbed a hold of Xolani's hand. "Are you from Tale too?" She tugged and waited for the boy's reply before blushing. "Oh. How dumb of me. My name is Sathe! What's yours?" She couldn't very well make a new friend without knowing their name, now could she?
