Basic is open to all students, AP is open only to upperclassmen (juniors/seniors) with sufficient magical background.

AP Law and Magic share Hour 1 and AP History take Hour 3 because AP classes are restricted to upperclassmen. Because upperclassmen have to take Literature in hours 2 and 4, putting AP classes then complicates scheduling more than it already is.

D: I have pulled my hair out over the schedules too much this year alreadyyyyy *cries*

If memory serves, you all have more than one character. How many of your peeps are interested in taking a magic course? If the total number of students interested equals or exceeds 8, we'll open the course for this year. If not, we'll bring it in next year.
