Where was he this time? This wasn't anywhere near Mint Meadow, he was sure of that! Was this eve part of the same forest system? It was... So... Dense and remote... Half-alert eyes shifted slowly from side to side and all around, as if they had been rolled in a sticky substance before being stuck back into his head. Yep... He was nowhere near where he should be, and no where near where his best friend would be able to hear him calling. Koujen was probably so worried about him...
"Mmmrrrr..." He mumbled, his tone waving between a confirming tone and an exhausted one, before he wandered a few steps forward. Well, if he was lost, it was best to keep moving. Right? Or was staying put the best idea? He blinked, his eyelids hovering lazily, before SLAM! He fell face first into the dirt. He wiggled a moment, as if trying to discern if his spot was comfortable enough, and laid flat. Well, it looked like he was staying put for now.

It was the perfect time of year for her to collect certain plants and berries that could only be gotten at the season change. Her baskets were full of various things both edible and medicinal and she was just backing out of a particularly thorny bush, vines retracting as she did when she heard a thud.
Looking around thinking it might've been one of the various animals that she called her friends her vines shot out for her baskets even as she started to walk in the direction she'd heard the noise.
As she rounded the bush she was stunned into motionless at the sight of the...what....what was that anyhow? Laying on the ground?
Cautiously she crept closer, vines settling baskets to the ground once more and sliding closer to her, ready to act.

Zeke wasn't out for the count quite yet, but could easily be confused for a dead body if it were darker outside. Still, his hands were twitching every so often, indicating that some, if any, life was still flowing within them. It appeared that Zeke was still trying to fully feel out his current resting position, which was apparently becoming less and less accommodating by the second. Something was poking at his belly, there were worms and bugs wiggling around his arms, and his feet itched really bad. What did he step in back there? It was just some leaves and stuff. He let out a solid huff of air before deciding to move into a sitting position, completely oblivious to Demeter's presence.
As he sat up, his nose began to pick up on something, a FOOD something. Berries? BERRIES! He grinned, berries were the best things ever! He crawled towards where the scent was coming from but paused as he bumped into something on his way over. His nose could no longer smell the berries, but he could smell something else semi-familiar. FEET, BARE FEET, and they certainly weren't Koujen's. He sat back up on his rump and peeled his eyes open to look up at Demeter, and smiled.
"I smelled berries, sorry. Who are you?" He asked, rather dully.

Demeter certainly wasn't sure what to make of Zeke. She hadn't seen another pokemon since her mother...and that had been years before, and she'd never seen one that looked like this one! Still she did see his hands twitching and that was reassuring to a point. There was a startled gasp as the boy suddenly sat up...and of all things crawled towards her and bumped against her feet. There was a blink as she tucked the hem of her skirt over her feet for the moment as she crouched there staring at the stranger. "I'm Demeter...and I have some berries if you're hungry." a vine snaked out and wrapped around a basket bringing it close and setting it in front of the other. She could collect more to make up for what he ate.
