Gabriel crossed his arms, looking up at the building in front of him. It looked rather like a firehouse, though it had clearly been refurbished. "Des really lives here?" He asked, sounding surprised. "And why am I even with you?" He adjusted his grip on the cake in his hands, homemade by Cait's twin.
"It's Des's birthday and I have no idea who the hell else he's gonna celebrate it with, and you two hit it off the first time you met, right?" Cait grinned and pushed the door open. "Des! I'm here and I brought cake!"

Des was currently hanging off a piece of scaffolding, holding an ice pack to his mouth. At the sound of Cait's voice, he nearly lost his balance. Fishing about with his free hand for stability, Des actually grabbed a loose pipe and sent it crashing to the floor. ...Oops. He blinked stupidly at the thing as it rattled to a stop. Crap... He had forgot Caitlyn was coming over at some point today. Ah beans... time to face the piper.

Once they were inside, Cait casually lifted the cake out of Gabriel's hand, waltzing in like she owned the place. "I'm putting the pie in the kitchen! Alex sends his love and his regrets that he couldn't actually be here! He still thinks your butt is really cute, by the by."
Gabriel just sort of...stared. It was impossible to know Cait without being acquainted with her twin, and as far as he knew Alex was between boyfriends - were he and Des seeing each other? Why, if so, would Cait tease him about he and Des getting together? (She hadn't let up on that.) "Des, I'm here too," he called. "Uh, Gabriel? Cait dragged me along."

Des raised, dropped? (he was still upside down after all), an eyebrow. Did she really just call it pie? Whatever. He had long learned to expect quirks with the Masters family. There was a loud facepalm at the butt comment, one Des was sure Cait could hear from the kitchen. Alex really needed to get his head out of the gutter.. Then again, given Des' new "addition", maybe it was a good thing Alex wasn't here. Though he perked up once he heard Gabriel speak. Cait had dragged him along too? Oh goody! ... Oh crap. If things didn't get any more awkward...

Cait walked into the living room, and as soon as she finally spotted Des, she frowned. "Why are you upsode down with ice on your tongue? Des, did you do something crazy?" She asked, leaning against the doorway. Subtlety was not her specialty, not around friends.
Gabriel hovered in the kitchen, feeling horribly awkward. How could Cait do this - just barge into someone's house and inform them she was there?

"....Uuuuuh."
Oh he was so dead.
Des threw the ice pack at Cait and quickly scrambled to climb back up the scafolding and away from the greenette's reach. "Deeefine crazy?" He said carefully as he ducked out of her sight. He scrambled as he managed to wall jump the gap between the scaffolding and the second floor landing.

Cait caught the ice pack and yelped. "Get down from there you crazy ********, you'll hurt yourself!" She knew he hadn't yet, but with all the climbing he did, it had to just be a matter of time. "Just want to point out that if you're up there and the cake's down here, you can't get any, by the by."
Gabriel stared blankly. Was this really happening? Yes, apparently it was. He thought he was weird around his friends, but Cait took it to an entirely different level. How he was still surprised after so long was beyond him, but he was.

"No! You'll hit me!" He yelped, hiding be hind the banister just enough that he could peek over it at Caitlyn. He drummed his fingers on the top, contemplating. While she knew some, Caitlyn didn't know all his tricks. "...How do you know Gabriel won't gimme any??"

"Why do you think I'll hit you? It can't be that bad, can it?" Cait huffed, passing the ice pack off to Gabriel. "Especially since you're apparently already hurt without my help!" She turned around and narrowed her eyes at Gabriel.
"I'm not going against Cait," Gabriel said, walking the ice pack back to the freezer. He glanced back, and Cait was gone from the doorway - probably heading for the stairs. Good lord he had the weirdest friends.

Desmond rolled his eyes. "Turning my models against me huh? See if I ever help you with a cosplay again..." The violette 'glared' over at the banister. He blinked at Caitlyn's slowly approaching form before he shrieked and scrambled back onto the banister and onto one of the window ledges. "CALL YOUR BROTHER CALL YOUR BROTHER!" Des yelled as he climbed away from the green haired woman.

"NO DON'T CALL YOUR BROTHER." Aw s**t. He was screwed now. That traitorous little s**t.

"I am not turning your model against you, he's making a wise decision not to go against his friend," Cait said, and then she frowned. "What does my brother have to do with anything?" She asked, and then she pulled out her phone, dialing her twin's number.
Gabriel slowly walked out of the kitchen, staring up at Des on the ledge and Cait casually leaning against the wall. "Uh, Des, is that safe?" He asked.
Cait made a soft humming noise as she waited, and then, with an all too easy smile, she greeted her brother. "Hey, Alex! Des seemed to be under the impression I will e angry at him, and told me to call you! Why would he do that?... uh huh, I see. What a lovely idea, that's so nice. Excellent." She hung up. "A tongue piercing?"

"Liar!" Des shrieked again. "...What are you doing? CAITLYN DROP THAT PHONE. He's an annoying little s**t and that's it!" He hopped from the window to the safety of the scaffolding as he tried to snatch the phone from Cait.
Busted.
"Uh..... Hold that thought." Des sat up and pulled out his phone dialing someone. "YOU TRAITOROUS LITTLE s**t. SHES GOING TO KILL ME." And then in total seriousness. Des flipped his phone shut and threw it over his shoulder. "IT WAS HIS IDEA." He said as he launched himself of the scaffolding and behind Gabriel. "I'm sorry but you need to be my guardian angel for a minute."

Caitlyn judged the distance from the balcony to the ground. She'd made longer jumps as Persephone - though of course as Persephone she was more resilient. She hummed and walked to the balcony, hoisting herself onto it - and then she dropped, landing carefully with her knees tucked in. "Gabriel, move. Desmond Xavier Winchester, we need to talk."
Gabriel swallowed and looked behind him at Des. "She won't kill you all the way?" He offered lamely. He even suspected that was mostly true. Cait wasn't usually super violent. Still, he didn't move. Being called a guardian angel was flattering as all hell.

Des whined, clinging to the back Gabriel's shirt. Ah man, full goverment name was dropped. "Okay maybe not kill... But she's definitely gonna beat me. It was Alex's idea! ....Well actually he wanted to do it somewhere else but I managed to talk him into the tongue." He said finally sticking out his tongue. "I tried to talk him into an ear piercing or eyebrow or ya know something sane but this was the only other thing he would agree too and it huuuuuurt god damn it!"

"What the hell did he suggest?" Cait asked, and then she frowned. "Don,t tell me I don't need to know." then, she actually started to laugh. "Yes it generally hurts when you stick a needle into yourself! Congratulations!"
Gabeiel reached behind him to pat Des's arm. Cait certainly didn't look murderous anymore, and that was always a good thing. Murderous Cait was never fun for anyone.
"Are you happy with it?" Cait asked, surprisingly calmly.
