-- Games: Computer games, console games, board games, you name it and she'll play. That doesn't mean she likes all games, but she is definitely a gamer. Most of her paychecks go into the newest games and game systems. Her favorite games are mainly Shoot 'Em Ups like Borderlands 1&2, in which she's logged literally hundreds of hours into.
-- Collecting: She's a bit of a collector when it comes to books. She might not read all the books she has, but if she buys one book in a series, she has to buy them all. It happened with Yu-Gi-Oh and Pokemon cards until she realized that there will never be an end to them. She figured that she was just wasting her money putting her energy into getting the cards she didn't have. Books, movies, and games are a lot easier to collect.
Virtues:
-- Level headed: Marie is very level headed. She's a thinker which means she comes with a different mindset than most of those around her. It takes a lot to get under her skin, but it does happen. When she finally gets angry, everything about her gets to that eerie, calm sort of quiet. Usually it's games that get under her skin, or people who are beating her in games.
-- Dedicated: With collecting comes dedication. She will do anything to get her hands on the next installment of a game, book, movie, whatever. Just like her dedications to her collecting, she's dedicated to those she calls friends. While she doesn't always go out and party with them, she's always there for them when they need her. Her friends know they can drop by her house if they really need to talk to her, or call and text her. Marie will run drop anything she's doing if one of her friends calls her and asks her to come out to help with something, be it big or small.
-- Laid back: Level headed she is, but she's also really laid back. She goes with the flow, most of the time. If someone asks her what she wants to do, or eat, she'll just shrug and say whatever. Marie thinks stress is completely useless, so she doesn't have a lot of it. If she's feeling stressed, she'll end up playing a game, or just taking a long bath to unwind. If she's in public and gets stressed, she'll just excuse herself and remove herself from the situation.
Flaws:
-- Competitive: As a gamer, she's naturally competitive. She takes everything as a challenge. If she loses, she rants and raves and screeches and her usual level headed demeanor is completely gone. If she wins, however, she just gets a little smirk on her face and let's that be the end of it. She sometimes has a race with the other waitresses at the place she works at to see who can wait the most people in the most amount of time, or starts a competition to see who can get the most tips.
-- Judgmental: She's not all fun and games. Often times as she's talking to you, she'll judge you in her head. She'll judge the way you talk, dress, act. It's not like she does it on purpose most of the time, but it happens. It's her nature. She makes assumptions upon the first meeting, or first glance, and is usually right about her judgement.
-- Reclusive: If she's not waitressing, she'd much rather be at home, half naked and playing video games all day. She doesn't like being around large groups of people, she doesn't like being around children. Animals are fine. Marie only leaves the house when she absolutely has to. Work, pay bills, get food. More often than not her fridge is empty and she lives off of take out or food from work.
