Name: Evan Free Age: 25 Species: Human Personality/Bio: Bright, honest, hardworking Evan gives his all to everything and anything he does. He's been working hard since he was a child to help keep his family afloat. However, because of this he's not exactly 'worldly' and is used by people sometimes. Being quiet and often a loner from not having the best social skills Evan falls in with the wrong crowd a lot. However, since he's had a dozen odd jobs and stays physically fit he doesn't have to worry about being in too much trouble. Because of his construction job Evan has been going to a gym to keep in top shape so he doesn't get hurt. Being a workaholic it's his guilty pleasure.

Kai bounced along the payment as he made his way to his business. 'Dog's Gym' had only been open 7 months, but the new business owner was proud of his latest accomplishment. The chill in the air had scared his summer rush away however, Kai was confident that his regulars would keep him afloat during the slow times of the year, even if it was a male only gym. His side business of being a personal trainer would also keep his plate nice and full during the winter season.
He grasped the metal handle on the door as he slid his key into the hole. The morning air was making it difficult to see as the heat from his body created steam that smoked his vision. The key turned with ease and the blonde stepped into the dark building. He flipped on the light idly as he prepared to start the day.

Evan was on his way to his first job of the day which was the construction site he worked at. The site just so happened to be just passed the gym he had joined. It was a guilty pleasure of his since he probably didn't need to go to a gym to work out but it was a nice place and filled with people. Since he was always working it seemed this place was great for catching up on what was actually happening in the real world...That and the owner was gorgeous! That too was a guilty pleasure for him.
As he walked lazily down the sidewalk he caught a rare glimpse of said owner opening the gym up for the day. The blonde had to slow down and watch for a bit before scuttling passed. He'd have to stop in for a bit before starting night shift at the bar, he didn't have the time to really work out today but he did like to buy protein bars for snack on such days.
The construction site was busy and dirty as always and Even was absolutely filthy after work, though he did manage to clean up decently enough before leaving that afternoon. He'd hit up his place for a shower and change then go to the next job... But should he go to the gym now or after his shower? He pondered while he walked so about the time he reached the gym he'd decided to pop in and get the protein bars then go home eating one, shower, and change for his next job.
So walking into Dog's Gym he looked around to see if he could spot Kai. Sure he could talk to whatever employee was there today but he much prefered to speak to the 'Dog' himself. Since he wasn't working out today he decided not to track whatever was on his work boots around and waited he wave the man down. The moment Kai was with in range he flashed a smile at him.
"Good work today, think I could buy another box of those yummy bars today?" Evan asked his honey eyes sparkling.

Kai smiled charmingly, seeing his favorite client. He was a new sign up, but Kai couldn't help noticing when he was there and when he was not. Kai tried not to think too much about it, at least not right now.
"Good afternoon Evan, what have you been up to?" Kai inquired, clapping the younger male on the back in a warm greeting. Kai mood always improved at seeing the energetic blonde. Kai patted the other male on the back before escorting him to the front desk.
Kai nodded to the receptionist, "One of the chocoholics please Cassandra." The receptionist nodded and did as her boss requested, handing over the 'Dog Gym' brand delectables. Kai took them gracefully, handing them to Evan.
"No charge." Kai stated, leaning back against the check in desk cooly. "You deserve a free one since you go through them so quickly." He stated with a chuckle.

Evan happily walked to the front with the owner as he patted his back. Like a pup he drank it all up. "Hn, work. What else do I do?" He chuckled at that. It was a sad fact that besides eat, sleep, and work this gym was what qualified as his 'free' time. Most of the money he made got sent to his folks and siblings to help them out. He even had savings up for his little sisters and brother; for some reason their parents hadn't done that for them.
When the box was produced the blonde was just reaching for his wallet when Kai said it was free. 'Free' was a very shiny word for him so his face broke out in a million watt smile for the blue eyed trainer. This was possibly the best day he'd had in forever. Licking his lips at the thought of the chocolate goodies, and certain uses for such deliciousness, Evan forgot to check himself and hugged the older man. "Thanks a bunch!!" he exclaimed then jumped back flushing. "Damn sorry," he blushed and dropped his head. But man did Kai have a great body~
"Ah, well I do have to get home. I need to shower before heading to the bar tonight," Evan couldn't help but beam again at the man. "You should totally come one night, I'll treat you to something as thanks." It was a sweet offer since Evan worked at one of two bars at night; The Tow, a classic bar where he was admired by both male and female customers, or a higher class bar The Night Club, owned by the sister of the manager of The Tow, it was a female only wait staff that he temped at. Whatever bar he worked at Evan had awesome tolerance and never got drunk off the drinks customers bought him, which made him all the more favored.
"Well, I'm off. Thanks. You've probably bought me breakfast for a good while with this," he teased giving Kai a wink. "See ya," he waved and trotted out happily. Oh he was going to enjoy this box of goodies slowly. Or maybe he should eat them quickly so he could come back for more. Laughing softly at himself Evan made it home quick enough to enjoy a fifteen minute shower, a hot meal, and a nap before having to go in for night shift. Of course he took a few protein bars with him to work to eat on if he got hungry.
The Tow was slow for the first few hours, as usual on a Thursday, but it picked up the later it got. Evan was busy but light on his feet tending the bar.

Kai chuckled as he watched the young blonde as he left, following him with his eyes until he was out of sight. His receptionist quirked her eyebrow, smiling up at him in a knowing fashion.
"Now now, Cassy." He cautioned her with a charming smile. It must be fairly obvious that he liked the attention from the blonde that spent what time he could at the gym, but Kai preferred to keep it out of the public knowledge as long as possible.
Kai did his rounds, retreating to his office once he had finished. Kai retreated to his chair, stretching out before leaning his elbows on his desk in thought. His steel blue eyes scanned his office, pondering. Evan had let it slip that he worked at a place called 'The Tow'. Kai could always lock up his office early. All of his personal clients for the day had all gone home, and there was plenty of staff to cover. Kai fumbled with his keys, finally standing up from his desk and grabbing his coat.
"Our early today, Boss?" Cassandra asked as Kai locked his office. He flashed her a winning smile. "Something like that." He said. The front desk worker grinned. Her Boss was nothing short of a work-a-holic. It was nice seeing him take some time of for something other than fitness. Well in this case perhaps fitness in a different sort.
"See you tomorrow~" Cassy called after Kai. "Don't wait up." He said, waving to the staff and taking his leave. He had to go home, shower and dress. It was time to make an impression.

Kai entered Tow, seeing the familiar blonde as he busied himself with his work. Cooly, Kai slid into a stood to his side and waited to be noticed.

Evan Free had his hair pinned out of his face and was wearing his most charming smile as he bustled behind the bar taking orders and chatting. Out of the corner of his eye he noticed someone sit down and finished speaking to the woman in front of him giving her a light laugh. Of course when he turned to see Kai his cheeks warmed and his smile light up more. "Hey there!" he slid over to him. "What can I treat you to then, my good sir~" he almost purred at the sight of the man. He hadn't really thought he'd show up. Kai seemed to work a lot; a charming factor of course. Leaning on his arms onto the counter the blonde couldn't help grinning. "It's surprising I didn't think you closed this early. I kind of like it~"

"I decided to start the weekend early." Kai explained, smiling charmingly at the blonde. Kai was thoroughly enjoying the attention that he was receiving from Evan and it was becoming increasingly obvious that the youngster was interested in him as well. The pitch of Evan's voice, his smile and his flushing only fueled Kai's deduction. Kai's eyes trailed the frame of the young man's face as he talked. The hairpins had not only done their job pinning his hair back, but allowed for the older man to see more of Evan's face than what he was accustomed to. He quietly imagined what other expressions the young man might make. Ones he hadn't seen before. "I'll take a Manhattan." Kai stated, tossing his jack over the stool next to him.

Even smiled and nodded a the other. "Coming right up then!" And he turned happily to make up the drink for Kai. He wiggled by another worker just to do it and only said small hellos before bringing the drink back to the handsome man. Sitting the drink down on a coaster he winked,"Enjoy okay. That one is on me. I didn't think you came out to bars often but I'm glad you did." Looking around he blinked his lovely honey gold eyes. "Did you come alone?" He asked as if expecting someone else to show up, secretly he hoped no one did. Leaning back against the bar he waved back at a few girls who walked in and saw him. More regulars. Even was known to be an open and friendly fellow so lots of people loved to sit at his section of the bar. Watching Kai for only a few moments he was called upon to make more drinks. "Don't go anywhere~" He chirped to the man as he slid away to take care of the more complicated drinks the others couldn't make. Soon enough he was able to wander back over to Kai. "Everything still good here?" he asked. "Can I get anything for you?"

Kai took the drink in his hand coolly, swirling the ice in the glass slowly as he put the glass to the lips. Kai's eyes trailed Evan's movements with his icy blue eyes as he moved about behind the counter. He hadn't gotten the chance to answer that he was alone, but that would become apparent soon enough. Kai's eyes met Evan's as he returned their meeting with a genuine smile. "The drink is perfect." He took another sip before setting the glass back down on the coaster. "There is something you can do for me." He watched the younger man's golden eyes widen in surprise and eagerness. "What time do you get off work?" He asked awaiting Evan's answer with a slight grin.

Even's brow rose at the question and he chewed the corner of his lip. Truthfully he worked until morning but his boss had been trying to get him to work less; always worried Even was overworking himself with all his jobs. Even more rare was him taking a day off. So if he cut out around midnight, oneish it would be okay. "Give me a minute to go check kay~" he said a bit excitedly but with a nervousness too. Slipping from the bar he made a quick walk to the owner's office and knocked. All and all he spent very little time in the office. When his boss heard he wanted off early he was all too happy to agree to it. When asked the reason however the blonde blushed, he was known for never judging a lover by gender or race so the boss figured it was something like that. But to ask off they had to be pretty special. Walking back to the bar just as quickly Even beamed a smile at Kai. "I can leave at midnight if that's not too long of a wait for you..." He said chewing his lip. Just then the girls he'd greeted shimmied up to the bar and giggled. "Hey, Free," they cooed at him and he smiled back. "We'll take two Sex on the Beaches, and a few shots." Said the thin blonde in tight jeans. Her friend had super curly brown hair and a skirt. Even began making the fruity drinks for them and listened to their chatter. Both gave Kai interested looks now and then. Serving up the drinks with a flourish, he'd added orange slices and cherries to the top of the drinks for them. "There you go and I'll have someone bring your shots right out," giving them a wink they giggled and sauntered off happily. Sighing he looked back at Kai. "My regulars. They're sweet girls."

Kai smiled at his client. "You're an excellent bartender. I can see why they are regulars." Kai glanced back at the ladies, giving an approving nod before turning his eyes back to Even. If this had been another night at another bar he might have sauntered over to their table and engaged the two women in flirtatious nonsense. This night was going to be even better. "Midnight is fine, by the way." Kai was glad that Even had accepted his open invitation for later. His white button up shirt moved against his body slowly when he took in breath leaving enough to get a general idea of what was there but left more to the imagination. He calmly rolled up the cuffs of his sleeves to his elbows to get comfortable and placed his arm in a relaxed position on the bar as he took up his drink once more. The mixture of the rye, bourbon and cherry slide down his throat in a pleasurable way. Perhaps he would visit this bar more often. "So, why do they call you 'Free'?" He inquired curiously.

Even flushed and smiled happily motioning to another bartender. "Huh? What do you mean? It's my name..." he blinked confused honey eyes at Kai a moment. Then a naughty grin came to his lips. "Just so you know it's not like that," he reached for his back pocket and pulled out his wallet. Next he laid his driver's license on the bar and pointed. "Even Free. It's my last name. They use it more as a nickname or a joke." The blonde said moving for someone as they went to take the shots to the ladies. "So what did you want to do after I'm off?" he leaned his elbows on the bar and gave the other an interested look.

Kai studied the younger man's drivers license for a moment, lifting his eyes to meet the blonde's golden ones. He parted his lips softly in order to speak. "I see." Kai was often on first name basis with his clients. The sudden realization that he didn't know any of his clients last names hit him at once. He would rectify that tomorrow morning. Patrons at the bar and bartenders moved about Even as if in a dance but Kai didn't let them distract him from Even in the least. Kai finished his drink and thought. "Where do people go when they have the day off?" Kai inquired. He personally wanted to take Even back to his place and go from there, but it would be nice to go out somewhere and with someone that he enjoyed being around.

Taking back is id and slipping it where it belonged he grinned. Didn't the silly man know his last name since he did have to sign a waver to work out at the gym. Oh well. No biggie. The hustle and bustle was lively tonight and of course it was his job to serve people, and he did, but instead of idle chatter with random anybodies he went straight back to Kai. As if pulled by a string. "Hm?" Even gave the man a pathetic look and shrugged. "Since I work most of all the time I either go to your gym or home... I don't have morning shift tomorrow so anywhere is just about fine with me," he smiled brightly. Pausing he leaned to the side to wave off a group and holler to come back and be safe going home. "I send money home a lot so I hold three jobs usually. Getting a day off is rare because I really have no reason not to work but if--" just as the blonde was about to say something a set of three girls clambered to the bar giggling. "Eeevvvennn~" they cooed to the bartender. "Do shots with us?!" another proposed and all three set down money for a shot apiece and one from each for Even. The third one was blushing a lot and looking bashful. Sighin and pulling out six shot glasses he made them up, putting a cherry in each. "There we are. Is it your first time?" he asked the bashful girl, she nodded. "Ah, well then," he plopped an extra cherry for her into the glass. "There we are. Vodka and cherry juice, extra sweet for my ladies," he gestured at the two giggling girls,"and doubly so for the sweet new face~" he purred. Each girl was delighted by his words and picked up their shots. In time with each girl Even downed his own and sucked the cherry into his mouth. Thanking them he waved them off. As they went they squealed about 'how it was okay to buy drinks for the bartenders' to the new girl. Obviously she fancied the blonde. Licking his lips and nibbling the last cherry he eyed Kai. "Well, just so you know.... If it was your plan to see me drunk it's pretty hard. I've good tolerance~" his eyes twinkled a bit at that. He'd developed a good tolerance early on and it only got better since everyone wanted to get him drunk and get in his pants. For Kai though, Even wouldn't even let the man buy him a drink, he'd jump his bones as is. Oops! he shouldn't be thinking that way. Was he licking his lips at the thought!? Naughty! "Anyways," he tried to think purely,"was there anywhere you wanted to go on your early night?"
