I was just looking through pictures of Saphi again and am seriously astounded by how much she's changed in appearance in the year and a half or so that I've had her. She's gone from being practically a short-haired cat to being what I think can reasonably be called a long-haired, or at least a medium-long-haired. Her coat has gotten so fluffy and lush in the time I've had her, and I don't know if it's just a result of growing up, or if it's because she's on a good food or both but yeah... And that's not even getting into how much her personality has changed - she's gone from incredibly shy and nervous of everything/one (Bella and I included) to the most lovable creature ever, at least for me (she still hides from others). She cuddles with me (as in lays on me) for at least a little bit every day and I think we're getting closer to her hopping up on my lap when I'm just playing on the computer. She also doesn't hesitate to try and engage Bella in play once in awhile - I absolutely love when I see her swatting at Bella.

I first met my cat Everest ("Evie") when I could hold him in one hand. We were fostering him at the time. He was scrawny with scraggly fur and he looked like an alien.
When he was a kitten:

We eventually adopted him and now he's mostly healthy. He's very fluffy and looks like a completely different cat than before. He's leaning on my computer right now, trying to press the keys with his shoulder and mess up everything. xd
