Ren only had a farther when he grew up, he knew nothing about his mother as she disappeared on his first birthday. Ren's farther was a kind man and a scientist and blacksmith of sorts. He created Ren's gear and weapons for a birthday present.
Abilities:
-High skin density: Ren's skin is as tough as titanium and can take alot of damage in combat. However his skin is not invulnerable, it can be damaged and broken by very high level fire magic and lightning magic. Also enchantments that nullify magic can turn this ability off completely.
-Air/wind manipulation: Ren can manipulate the air/wind around him. changing its shape, density, pressure and temperature. He can use it to increase his speed and melee power by placing currents under his feet and hardening the air around him. He can also use it to lift off the ground and take flight for a short period of time. Ren is a prodigy in air manipulation and is his strongest aspect. Using it to the same level as a master ever since this year when he was taught the master level spells. He is not fully recognized by the realm as he is not a graduate yet but he is eligible for the official title.
-Almighty Aura: Ren has learnt to tap into what he thinks to be the source of magic but is wrong (kinda). What Ren can do is fully activate his aura, a pure white light that covers his body and masking his apperance and changing it for those who look at him. Just by standing within 10 meters makes the target feel overwhelmed with magical energy as if the pressure of the ocean is pressing down on them. Ren actually learnt this from Blaven who can also activate his aura.
-Universal magic: Ren is well versed in universal magic as all students should be but he rarely uses it unless it is required. He sometimes disagrees with some of his teachers on the validation of universal magic. He is basically a magic snob. Ren can conjure items, enchant, heal minor injuries, create magical force fields, communicate with animals, transmute matter ect just anything a normal wizard/mage can do.
-Knowledge of Runes: Ren has an above knowledge of runes and how to use them in magic and in language. Ren can use moderately complex rune circles and formations due to his studies but is not an expert. He knows the current dialect and a few pieces of the old dialect.
-Mixed Martial arts: Ren is proficient in a few martial art styles and can incorporate them into his fighting style though he does not use this alot in combat.
-Expert Swordsman: Ren is well versed in the art of swordmanship learning how to wield a one handed blade. He first learnt to hold and fight with a sword through his father and later honed on those skills through the academy.
Weapons and Items:
- Aura blade: A common weapon used by magical soldiers. The aura blade is a sword handle that channels the user's magical and spiritual energy into a plasma blade. This blade has the same sharpness as a regular sword and can give someone second degree burns. If the user pumps more magic into the blade, the sword will heat up and can pierce through tougher metals but this will drain the user.

Personality: Ren is a serious boy who takes his training and classes very seriously. He likes to work hard and enjoys reading and being alone in his spare time. He does not like interacting with other students unless he has to as he just isn't very sociable. The only time Ren can be social is when he is helping train the lower years in air magic. He tends to take the tough love approach most of the time as that is the most effective way of training.
Bio:
Born without the presence of a mother but having a loving dad, Ren grew up a normal life in another time. He was trained at the age of 12 in kick boxing, ju jujitsu and Iado through his dad who was an ex soldier. He also trained in the use of magic and how it could alter his own body to minimal damage through the use of special runes that his father had etched onto his body. The boy trained with his father until he was approuched by the academy who offered him a place with a scholarship as his father was earning little money. The boy accepted and moved to the school where he excelled in air magic and combat training. He became an expert in air magic, surpassing even some of the seniors who got very pissed off by this. One night a group of seniors got into his room and brutally attacked him. The boys were caught by the school and sent to prison but the damage was done. The boy's body was able to heal but some big scars were left and could not be removed especially for his face as the students used some kind of black magic. Ren decided to cover his face with bandages leaving the eyes un-covered. His father for his 16th birthday had bought him his white cloak and aura blade. After that Ren carried on to excel in his classes. Proving to the teachers he was worthy of becoming the white rose duellist. The boy accepted the title and decided to use it to help the weaker students become stronger through air/wind magic and sword training. Those were to be the two main specialities of the white roses.
