Sade had been walking a while, most of her friends had already gone back to Saint Mags, or home. Depending on who they were, but for a Thursday and Curfew wasn't for another few hours Sade wanted to investigate the music and art stores she was close to.
"Let see, what's the newest equipment coming out?" She asked her as she typed on it not really watching where she was going. "Oh, there's a new equalizer, and some bad a** speakers that light up! I wonder if they're any good." She glanced up and not a moment too late. The girl stopped abruptly to keep from tripping over a cement bench that'd be placed outside of the buildings to fancy them up. Sitting on the bench was someone with some interesting looking back tattoos. "Oh! Haha, uh hi?" Sade gave a sheepish wave as she walked around the bench doubting the other girl had noticed how close Sade had come to falling face first over the bench anyways.

"Hey!" Charli offered a wide smile, plucking an ear-bud free to hear better and resting the small music player on her lap. "Sorry, am I in your way?" She patted the seat beside her, not sure if the other girl was looking to take a load off, but plenty willing to offer. "Let me just move my haul." She offered, indicating the art store bag from which protruded rolls of fabric, and which had various buttons and spools pressed against the interior. "I love the hair by the way!" she added, free and happy to share a compliment. "That is just fun. And the piercings! Where did you get them done?"

Sade smiled when the girl apologized, "A-hahah... No actually I almost fell over the bench." She admitted, "I was looking at my phone and not paying attention to where I was walking. Soo...." She paused, "I like your tattoo on your back by the way. That's so pretty." Well what she could see of it, and that kind of indicated how close she came to tripping over the poor girl.
She smiled as the other said her hair was just fun. "Thanks! I do it myself, the art store has crin mesh and I usually buy a few different colors when I'm out this way. I was hoping they'd have more light blue or white. Maybe even rainbow today."
There was another smile, "The piercings? Oh there's a local tattoo piercing shop not too far from Saint Mags. They did them, I've been debating on if I want to get a tattoo from them or not, but I'm not sure what I'd get if I did." Sade mentioned with a shurg, looking at bag the other had moved. "Now that fabric looks fun, what are you going to do with that?"
Sade was a sucker for a good seamstress too.

"Ooh I don't think I've been there. I usually go to that other parlor..." She paused, snapping her fingers as she thought of the name. "You know the one.. with that huge guy with the tattooed head... he has two little girls and it's so cute it hurts when they get picked up there. I love that guy, he did my eyebrow for me, and his partner, super adorable guy with glasses, really delicate work... he did my back tat. He's amazing. He designed the whole thing from my descriptions." She gushed. "I'm negotiating with him to maybe be an apprentice with him at some point. And this stuff is for toys." She plopped the bag on her lap and opened it so that Sade could peer inside. "I got some super cozy flanel, and some hilariously neon fur that's down near the bottom... yarn to make some clothing... Oh here. I have one in my purse." She picked that up too, digging into the large beaded bag and picked out a small fluffy monster that appeared to be a sort of... horned... winged cat monster with three eyes, a unicorn horn, two rams horns, and four wings... and a rediculously long scarf wrapped around (and sewed down) around it's neck, torso, and mouth.
"This is Bobo." She introduced teasingly.
"Sorry I'm running on. I've never used crin mesh, how does it work?" She asked. "It creates such neat effects, you've gotta tell me."

Ryuthulhu Sorry I'm so late on this - I'm trying to get back in the groove.
"One of those would look so awesome in my room! Heck I'd take it to gigs with me!"
There was a pause when Charli asked how Crin Mesh worked. "Well the way I use it is really kind of simple, you have to cut the amount you get into the length's you want and then sew them together at one end before sewing it to basically an elastic hairband to create the hair falls. I can show you, if you'd like."

"Kinda depends on the piece!" Charli admitted. "Bobo took a lot of extra time for sculpting his horns and knitting the scarf, which takes longer than you'd think was plausible given the scale...So I guess... maybe a hundred or so? I mean I totally get that that's expensive, but just because it's fun work doesn't mean it's not work. Kinda like DJing I guess, orrr.... doing your hair?" She patted her own dreadlocks and added. "But then I guess we both know that some things are worth the effort!"
