Cahir’s trip to the Cove was a slow, well-paced trip down the halls and towards the stairs. He simply didn’t feel the need to run since no matter what, his weapon will be there waiting. They will wait until he gets there, so there is no point rushing. It also doesn’t help that the cove was dark as the eye can see with the exception of that one single torch. The hunter was no impressed, nor was he scared of the darkness that covers the room. He simply thought about how he probably would have slipped or walked into a wall if he had rushed. Yes, that wouldn’t have been good.

Then again, there were always the runes on the walls. Cahir squinted in the dull lightening, trying to make sense of the strange writings on the wall. He has absolutely no idea what they mean but if he tried, he could make out that there were things inside of them.

Oh…were those the weapons? Which one is his? There are so many. Subconsciously, he reached out to them and blinked when he heard a very loud voice in his mind – yawning. This new development knocked Cahir’s mind into a pause – the hell? Staring at his hand and the wall once more, Cahir shuffled around the place with his hand as a lead to each and every rune he could reach. Which one yawned at him just now…and just gave him the worse feeling of boredom?

<<What’s taking them so lo- >> The words were cut off by another yawn. The owner of the voice sounded as if they had spent much too much time in sleep, and not enough awake. Cahir squinted at the runes some more…he guess he would be too if he’s stuck in the wall and is forced to wait for who knows how long for his partner to show up. Maybe he should apologize to him for the wait.

“I’m sorry for taking so long…?”

There was a long pause followed by the sound of a startled awakening. <<Who’s talking?>>

“Ah.” A little baffled at how to respond, the hunter tried to listen to where to voice his answer “I’m Cahir?”

<<Are you saying you’re here or are you introducing yourself.>>

He could feel his left eye twitch, “I’m introducing myself. Where are you?”

<<Come get me bro, I’m…somewhere? I’ll tell you when you’re close.>>

Oh great, even his partner has no idea where the hell he is. Great. Though, as time passed during his search, Cahir can’t help but think he’s being toyed with by his new friend. If the weapon can tell him if he was getting warmer or colder to the location, then he sure as hell can tell him where he is.

“Are you toying with me?” He finally asked, squinting once more. “You better not be.”

<<Possibly, but you’re almost there…You know, that warning isn’t very threatening.>>

“Do you really want me to carry out a punishment for this type of behaviour.” A statement, but one the weapon couldn’t tell if the hunter has been joking or not. A very noticeable gulp was heard before silence greeted the two again. If he could narrow his eyes anymore, Cahir would have. “Where are you?”

<<I’m here.>>

“Where?”

<<…Here.>> He could hear the smirk in the weapon’s voice. Looking up, Cahir can see a giant hammer before him. Oh…

“Um.”

<<Sup. Nice to meet you, I am Arthfael. I trust we’ll be the best of partners, yes?>>
