"You know what, Diva?", the little brunette scowled as she pushed away the tiny porcelain cup. "I don't think he's going to show up".
1 hour, 32 minutes and 45 seconds. She honestly didn't know why she had bothered to sit at the cafe for as long as she did. If he wasn't there on the dot, it usually meant he didn't come at all, and despite that old knowledge, Princess grabbed herself a spot by the window to peer at by-passers. Maybe he actually was late for once? She highly doubt it.
"Oh, applesauce!" she mumbled angry to herself and kicked the table leg, causing the all too busy and high strung waitress to glare daggers at the two ladies occupying the corner. While the two legged one was polite enough to buy something every once in a while and tipped well above average, she still wasn't interested in getting a dented piece of furniture.
But none were as frustrated as Diva.
Diva was the four legged of the pair, and well deserving of her nickname. The Furfrou - for that was what she was and is - , much like her trainer, expected nothing less than the best, though the poodle monster was by far more spoiled. Princess often had a difficult time saying no to her companion, making the poof ball worse and worse by the day. The only thing that annoyed the dog more than not getting whatever her nose rubbed up against, was waiting. Specifically for people who obviously didn't plan on showing up. It was teeth grindingly painful in the most literal way. Diva clenched and released her jaw so tightly and often you could swear that it was the floor giving in from under the glass table. Her trainer had several times tried to correct the Furfrou, but being only a head taller than the poodle didn't exactly make give her much authority. Besides; it was a habit, not something she did out of malice or annoyance. There was little to be done.
Realizing Diva had no intention of quitting for longer than thirty seconds, Princess gingerly lifted up her hand to order another cup of coffee. "Just a few more minutes, then I promise we'll leave...".
