Dagget didn't always like going outside, but when he did, he liked to be in places that sold stuff. Thus, one rainy afternoon, the grouchy half-breed boy decided to visit his favorite multi-purpose store for a cherry slushy and a jumbo family size bag of Cheese Doodles, before retreating to a park bench to sit and grumble.
His father just welcomed five new siblings into the world, who were supposed to be HIS aunts and uncles, which creeped him out, to be honest. They were bowls, babies, seriously! Soon the house would be crawling with little sticky pawed monsters bent on stealing his stuff, and he would never have peace again! ...Not that he had peace to begin with, actually.
He scratched the side of his face, munched on a hand full of Cheese Doodles, and slurped up the remainder of his slushy before heaving a sigh towards the clouds.
"Damn rain, you remind me of that stupid fish woman..." He mumbled.

Bored.
Dillan wandered around the store, eyeing the products that the multi-purpose store had to offer. Unfortunately, he had no money at the moment. Yep, he was as broke as can be. It was a wonder why, he had a decent job. Enough to get him by. But nonetheless, at the end of every month, he didn’t have any money to spend.
Maybe he should stop impulsively going to theme parks. Nah, couldn’t be it. He exited the store, stomach still open and rain pouring down. Really, he should have brought an umbrella. But he never planned ahead. The rain never bothered him anyway. So, he shook off the water dripping down his hair and started walking home. Hopefully, his neighbor would be willing to give him a bite or two to eat.
However; a bright bag caught his eye, and he swiveled around, zeroing in on the other male on the bench. Why was he sitting on the bench in the rain? Didn’t he have a place to go, to get out of the rain? And most importantly..”Can I have some?” he asked, hand already outstretched and waiting for a few cheese doodles. He was hungry. This male should have a few to spare. It only made sense.
