All of the invitations have been found. The date and time draws near. People creep one by one to the appointed place in anticipation of what's to come - a party like no other. Over the ridge there's a big red X and people are gathering near it. But around them there's...nothing. No lights, no music, no decorations. For a tense few minutes after the appointed start time nothing happens at all and there's a threat that this has all been a hoax.
Suddenly, out of the horizon, two sets of headlights appear. Twin stretch limos pull up on the X and the doors are opened.
"We'll be taking you to the party." one of the drivers assures, pulling the door open wide. Everyone is ushered into their limos.

"Ooh, now this is exciting." Charli beamed, picking at the paper of her candy-cigarette. She'd worked hard to find them, since they were hard to find these days, considered a gateway to real cigarettes, rather than a joke, but thought they sort of 'made' the greaser themed costume. Well... would if she didn't pick all the paper off anyway, and get powdery sugar all over herself.
Limo's... how neat! It was sort of like... Hallow-prom. She half expected to find a gloriously ugly orchid waiting inside for each of them.

Limo 1
"I've never been in a limo before!"
The Breakfast Princess looked very excited as she settled inside the packed limousine, if a little uncomfortable sitting down in her costume.
"Since we're going to be stuck in here a little bit, we might as well introduce ourselves! I'm Margarita and I can't wait to see what this party is like!"
She looked expectantly at the next person.

Limo 1 Mathias removed the flight cap from his head as he sat down in the limo, placing it in his lap as he looked around for a moment. Some of the faces he sort of recognized - others he knew outright. But he'd wait to address them until they'd introduced themselves to everyone else. It was only fair. Clearing his throat, he allows himself a lopsided smile and nods his head to those in the car. "Name's Mathias." He looked around the limo. "It'll be interesting to see what this whole shindig is all about."Limo 2 Darren had slipped into the limo quietly, trying to take up as least amount of space as possible. He smiled and looked around at the other attendees. He took a moment to adjust the crown on his costume, dusting it off and moving his cloak so he didn't sit on it. He had placed the sword across his lap so it didn't take up any more air space than necessary. It was his LARP outfit usually - but he felt the crown was a nice touch for Halloween. Plus it kept him from spending more money than he needed to. "So, anyone been to one of these things before?" He asked, looking around the limo. Yeah, parties weren't usually his thing.

When she stepped into the limo, Fleur spent the first few moments settling in like everyone else, sinking into the comfy seats then adjusting her fake leather skirt. She spent the next few looking around, noticing the limo's sleek interior and all the young, strange faces around her. Not exactly what she'd been expecting, but she wasn't complaining. She paid attention when the conversation turned to the party.
"I'm Fleur," she began, turning to smile at everyone. First impressions were important, even if none of the people around could help start her career like she'd hoped. "And judging by this," she tried to wave a hand at the car while staying in her personal space,"tonight is going to be interesting."

It was a Limo. A limo. How cool was that.
It boded well for the rest of the party, and he could easily forgive the fact that it took so long for them to arrive. They were probably just giving everyone enough time to show up at the designated meeting point. Yeah.
"Not like this," Ian answered Darren. "Should be lots of fun though, especially since he's willing to go all out like this." Either that, or it was a trap. Anything was possible here in Destiny City.
He played with the brim of his hat for a moment, and then grinned. "So, I'm Ian." Somebody had to start off the introductions, and it was better than just going through the whole party by calling them by what they were wearing. "It's a pleasure to meet all of you."

Limo 1
Scott Erlea never thought he'd ever be riding inside of a limousine before, and for the time being, he had removed his sunglasses that were part of his costume so that he could look out the window and peer at the scenery around them, observing the city and all of its beauty that came with the nightfall. He was barely sitting down- more like he was on his knees, using his hands to prop himself up, looking outside like a child looked into a candy store.
He heard Margarita's introduction, and while he never looked away from the outside, he did speak up, letting her, Mathias, Fleur and the rest he shared the limo with know that as fascinated as he was with what was going on outside that he was paying attention. "Nice meeting you! I'm Scott Erlea, but you can just call me Scott."
Then, he made a wild guess, "Based on the old horror movies, I bet we're going to a creepy place, like a mansion on a hill, that was once a looney bin for the criminally insane and we'll have a murder mystery to solve, while we all get picked off one by one! Or maybe it'll be more like Clue... if there's a butler, I'm guessing Clue!"

Gwendolyn "Chun Li" Caspian was looking forward to having a good time, just like she had at the Carnival, and the convention, too, even when those turned out to be a catastrophe. How did the saying go?
Fool me once, shame on you.
Fool me twice, shame on me.
Well, it seemed that the third time was the charm, as no sooner had she boarded the limousine, she spotted the familiar faces of Arian and Orah. Of course, she was estastic to see her friends and she offered them a big, ol' hug, but the moment she drew close to them, she dropped her voice to a whisper. "Sure hope the three of us are ready for anything tonight! If you catch my drift?"
Not that she suspected it was another trap from the Negaverse, but nowadays, it was silly to NOT think it'd be one. With any luck, this would be nothing more than a fun excursion for everyone involved, with a few pranks and scares but nothing too life-threatening now.
After all, it was a Halloween Party...

"Oh I don't count because I'm a stranger?" Charli teased Gwen as the three, clearly familiar with each other, greeted each other. Maybe that was why they'd been sent in the same group? Maybe it was random. Maybe they'd find out. "Just kidding. Isn't this completely bees knees? And we haven't even started."

Limo oo1.
Okay. So maybe Ruthie shouldn't have exposed herself to the outdoors after breaking her arm and her traumatic encounter with Bischofite, but she could finally, finally have a semi-normal night. She would flirt, drink a little, eat some food, maybe grab some numbers and leave: Nothing unexpected. Nothing terrifying. Just her and a superficial night of happy fun time. Yes. All would be safe and comfortable and wholesome and warm.
The last time she rode in a limo, she went to a delightful and horrific prom during which her date vomited on the dance floor because crowds scared him, but he seemed extremely courteous before and after so it wasn't all bad right? As she sat, she recognized Mathias' voice.
"Oh hey you!" she laughed. "I remember you from the student art show." She would probably have to introduce herself as well. UGHHH. She hated addressing groups of strangers, but she smiled and brushed back a strand of hair and said: "My name's Ruthie, and I'm pleased to meet all of you. Hopefully this will be a lovely evening..."

Orah grinned as she saw her friends, waving brightly and self-consciously tugging at her purple dress. Ribbons and fabric wings trailed behind her, glitter dusted about her skin... She had picked out the prettiest fairy costume she could find, hoping it would be worthy of such a wonderful party.
"Hi guys." She said as Tsui hugged her, her smile faltering a little at the reminder that these sorts of gatherings rarely went well. That was probably the last thing she wanted to hear right now... she just wanted to go out and have a good night, to party and meet new people. She didn't want to think about the things that had happened in the past. "Of course I'm ready." Orah said as she was released, tugging her dress straight again.
Looking about, she offered the others another bright smile. She didn't know any of them, but that was why she was here!
"My name's Orah. Its good to meet you!" She said with a little curtsy.

Okay, so maybe a lobster costume wasn't the best thing to wear for an event such as this one. It was hot, so very hot, and his movements were all but restricted as he tried to get into the limo without having someone loose an eye from accidental pokage with a claw. But hey! It was fun and exciting and, according to his mother, it brought back some fond memories of the early 2000's. Besides, he didn't want to risk having anyone recognize him as that 'one rich kid'. They would have probably thought he had bought his way into the event. How rude!
"Hello Everyone!" His muffled voice rang out from inside of the Lobster head, and he got comfortable in a little corner all to himself. "I'm Isha! How exciting is this!? I just hope they don't serve us... Lobster Tails. HAHA!"

Limo 2Halloween was one of her favorite times of year. She loved the creativity everyone put into their costumes, and the fun kids had while getting free candy. And after the last couple of months she had, this girl needed some fun. Castille climbed into the second limo, holding the edge of her eskimo costume down to cover her rear. Stupid short costumes! Why do girls have to dress so skimpy for Halloween!? she thought in annoyance, sliding into place next to someone who was dressed as a lobster. She glanced around the cabin, taking note of the costumes of her comrades. "Hiya guys! My name is Castille!" she chuckled at the lobster's joke, covering her mouth with a gloved hand. "Maybe the lobster tails will be on ice!" she patted her skirt into place, enjoying the fact that, while her outfit may be short, it was still made of warm fabric. And she had a hood!

Personally, Isha found no amusement to the 'skimpy' costumes that some girls tended to wear during Halloween. To him, costumes were supposed to be fun and exciting and humors, not just.. Trying to look nice the whole time. If that was the case, maybe he would have just went as his senshi self. That was plenty nice and 'historical' looking enough to just pass as a medieval costume or something.
Then again, maybe he was just being a bit irritable from being in a giant lobster head. Atleast no one could see him making faces at the people infront of him.
"Hehe, yeah, on ice! I'd rather be a dancing lobster. But I guess you can dance on ice too. Geesh, I could use some ice right about now! I'm BOILING up in here!" Haha! Wonderful, terrible pun number two!

Limo 2She had got someone talking! Thank goodness! Castille smiled at the lobster, though unsure of exactly where the person inside's actual eyes were. "You know, you could just take the head off for now." she suggested, looking around to see if there were any drinks or ice available in the limo. Suddenly the pun hit her, and she sighed to herself. How did she miss that? "Well if you get too warm you could take off the head and let off a little STEAM." she said, giggling. Already she was having fun!
