The zoo entrance loomed in front of her; its signage lit by only a gentle back-light.

Sailor Aludra fixed the gate problem with one jump, landing on big ‘Z’, where she wobbled for a moment before managing to steady herself with an undignified flapping of her arms.

Beyond the gate the zoo was laid out in a pool of darkness, punctuated by only the occasional light, and Aludra was glad she’d thought to bring along her torch… and her bag full of late-night snacks. This had been the perfect idea, she praised herself. There was no better use of magical girl powers than using them to break into the zoo. It was about time she gave herself a night off from patrolling.

Already she could hear the low, rumbling calls of the lions and as she listened, a mournful howl lifted and made her shiver. Wolves. Perfect!

Aludra jumped to the ground, flicked on her torch and began walking into the zoo.

Aludra swung around with a squeak of surprise, shining her torch directly at Corinth’s face. With her thoughts on the animals, she hadn't expected any company and really hadn't been paying attention to her surroundings.

"You scared me!" She admonished, lowering the torch. Despite her initial shock, she quickly relaxed and wasn't worried at all at being approached by a teenage boy. Aludra presumed he was like her, with the fancy coat and nice aura.

"Um, no," she said in response to his question and then turned on her heels. "I want to look at the wolves first, but you can pick the next exhibit after that."

"Then why bring a torch with you? You're just asking to be spotted!" Corinth could feel the the concern rising in him in regards to this girl, probably because she was probably just a little younger than his younger sister. Which made him a bit concerned that there were kids that young with powers out and about. But that wasn't the point, she was being foolish and they were probably going to get caught by the authorities or worse.

"Look, turn the torch off before we get spotted." Corinth was still new to being powered so he wasn't even looking for auras. He was completely oblivious to the fact that they were already being watched.

"Then we can go and check out the wolves or whatever."

He'd stick around a bit and watch out for her. It was only the right thing to do.

Unlike some of his fellow senshi Athene had never had a fixed patrol route, the dark-haired eternal senshi as likely to be found patrolling around alleyways as he was the park.

The evenings were starting to get colder and so he had started resuming his practice of buying a hot drink to tote around on the patrol beat, his choice for the evening some sort of coffee drink that was probably more syrup than coffee.

His footsteps had ended up taking him in the direction of the zoo, although Athene had been planning on wandering by - at least until he picked on the aura of first the senshi and page and then the dark aura of chaos, the darker aura strong and about on par of his own aura.

Frowning slightly he jumped the gate, rather relieved that his hot chocolate was half full so that movement didn't cause it to splash everywhere and went in search of where he thought the auras were coming from.

He stumbled on the source of the Order auras first. The page, a black-haired with green streaks Neptune page, the senshi a chibi with green hair and dressed in a red riding hood-esque outfit.

"Evening" he said to them both in greeting in his quiet voice.

The chaotic aura still out there - somewhere.

Then like magic it seemed like half the neighborhood showed up around him and the girl. Blinking at the sudden appearance of two more like them, he made an strained noise in his throat and went livid.

"HOLY CRAP, HOW MANY OF US ARE THERE?!" He looked around at the newcomers. "How did you know we were here and were the hell did you come from?"

He didn't feel too bad about cussing in front of the girl - even though he should. It was just... Really? HOW MANY SUPER HEROES DID A CITY NEED?!

It was her first excursion since being promoted, and General Mica had fully intended on keeping her promise to the Negaverse by taking to the streets, not simply to strike down her enemies but to assist her allies in their time of need. Not that she would show any of her enemies mercy should she run across them, and the amount of Order signatures she felt in a single area, matching against two Chaos made her sense of duty flare up. "Seems someone's bitten off more than they can chew..."

She looked to her cohort, albeit a temporary one until he got his little act together, and motioned for him to keep up as they made their way to the Zoo. "Remember, little wasp, one must never allow their allies to fall, even if they bring trouble upon themselves. To allow them to fall would be to fail the Negaverse, and we don't wish to fail the Negaverse, now do we?"

"No. Never..." said Sailor Vespa, looking up to the general and still surprised by her kindness despite her superior rank and how he was supposed to be punished right now. As the Senshi of Wasps feared, someone had discovered not only his failure to obtain enough energy and starseeds, but his recent run in with Thraen, and that had definitely put him in a rotten situation. But now was his chance to prove his worth, and even without Mica ordering him around, he would have made his way towards the Zoo when sensed the uneven amount of Order signatures to Chaos. "I won't let the Negaverse down!"

He followed Mica, straining to keep up with her speed, and when the two of them finally reached the scene, he wasn't at all disturbed by the amount of enemy officers there. As Mica took a protective stance next to Ate, Vespa took the vanguard willingly, his attention set forward on the enemy that outnumbered him and not once noticing Lyssa among the crowd. This was his chance, and he was determined not to blow it, even though they were outnumbered, even though they had an Eternal there. He'd go down fighting if he had to to keep his superior officers safe!

((Here we come to save the daaaaay. Maybe.))

Glaring at Lyssa Ate had not seen the two Negaverse allies appear, her mind solely set on skinning the cat alive when she finally got her hands on her, who was at the very moment, licking the top of the cubs head with hearty strokes.

“You are so dead kitty cat….” It was only when Sailor Vespa announced his dedication to the Negaverse did she turn her attention away and started focusing on the metallic back plate that donned General Mica in front of her. Well this was getting slightly better.

“…General?” Senshing her energy Ate’s body un-tensed from her rigid pose and instead took on a more relaxed attitude. Dam this was getting better! Even the little kid next to her was better than nothing.

“And a sweet little tainted soul.” Leaning towards Vespa she laced an arm around him and gave him a squeeze, her finger running the length of his shades as she did. “Aren’t you a cutie hmm? I hope you can fight bumblebee, because if not I am more than happy to use you as cannon fodder if you’re not good enough.”

Letting him go with a wink she turned her attention to the General, her eyes alighting with mischievous joy. “Welcome to the party General, I am Eternal Corrupted Sailor Ate and I do believe we have some unwanted guests which…by the looks on their faces, have just released they crashed our party.”

The Negaverse.

They're dangerous… their starseeds are filled with chaos… they want us gone from Earth.

The words of Hypnos danced through her mind and Aludra unconsciously bit down on her lips, worry creasing her brow. So much for a fun night out at the zoo.

“I should probably go home…” She murmured, her hand still held out with scone perched upon it. “Will they attack us?” She certainly hoped not.

Somewhere behind them the wolves began another mournful song.
