Honestly, it hadn't been exactly the best day. Work had not gone well, his toes still ached from an vapid suit backing over his foot with an overpriced car while loudly screaming that he'd destroy them all if there was a scratch on it... followed by even more loudly insisting that the bellowing about toes and feet and tires was just for attention and to 'suck it up and don't try that with ME' because it was "obviously" an act.

Most days he managed to get through a shift without wanting to power up, rip someone slowly through the mangled glass of their own windshield, and rip out their starseed in front of horrified onlookers.

Today had honestly NOT been one of those days.

He glared fervently at the darkened park, took a last swig from an bottle of beer, the others in the pack sitting beside him, yet unopened, and tossed the bottle in the direction of a trash can.

He could feel the Order signature, and, regardless of who they knew, he was really looking forward to see what they'd do.

Bring on the fighting. He was itching to hit something. Or someone. Preferably someone. Preferably many times.

Trees were Avior's favorite part of patrolling the park. In the months that he had been a senshi, he managed to semi-master the art of jumping in between them, pushing off their trunks to get from one place to another faster, and hiding out in their branches. While, at first, he was uncomfortable with his diminutive size, it didn't take long for him to figure out that being on the short side of things allowed him to do things that other guys couldn't even dream of doing.

With this skill he traversed through the park, the sun long gone from the sky. Was he out looking for a fight, pfft, no, not at all! His goals, as of late, involved attempting to find any Dark Mirror Senshi he could to try to speak more about his impending defection to their organization. They were a family, a small one, but closely knit, as he had interpreted it. Nothing like the jumbled mess that was the White Mirror Court. And their goals, their wants to find a new home seemed just perfect for him. So he sought them out almost every night he could spare, to become familiar with them, to become friends with them.

Though the Dark Mirror Court's Aura and the Negaverse's Aura felt different, he did not hesitate to approach them either. Since after all, they would be both chaos related, right? He was even going to live with a Negaverser now too. They could all get along!

The blue-eyed boy dropped down from the tree had had occupied, and landed a bit a ways away from the man, frowning when he saw that he had been drinking. That was NEVER a good sign for anyone.

"Hey.. Did you need some help or something? Drinking in the park isn't that much of a good idea, even for someone part of the Negaverse. It would give all of your 'fans' a bad impression. Plus, it would be hard to get home if you were to stumble around drunk." There was no sign of sarcasm from his voice, no. The boy was honestly concerned about it. Hopefully, such honest worry for his fellow human would elicit a calm response, rather than one of aggression. If not.. Well then, he'd want to run, rather than fight. No reason engaging these people, is there?

...Oh. Perfect. Really. Really. Really perfect.

Realgar silently turned his stare on Avior, locking the boy in his gaze, and deliberately took a second bottle of beer out of the case, and twisted off the lid before answering, tipping the neck in the boys direction like an accusatory finger.

"First... One of us doesn't have such a s**t metabolism that he could get drunk on a Shirley Temple. Protip. It's not you."

He paused here, raising a finger on his other hand in an indicator to wait, and just as deliberately took a long swig of beer, raising an eyebrow at Avior.

"Second, kid. If I'm looking for help, which, actually I'm not... it's not from some kid who's so young his voice isn't sure yet if it's decided to change." He paused again, eying the contents of the bottle with a critical raised eyebrow as he considered things and then added.

"OK no, wait.. don't tell me. I'm being too hard on you. You just want to be friends right?"

His smile was thin, and stretched with just a thin line of teeth, like an Alligator on the banks of the river. Like the Alligator, it looked friendly only to those unfamiliar with any aspect of the creature, or extensive row of sharp teeth hiding in those cheerful jaws.

"Am I right?"

"Hey man, no need to get all rude about it. I wouldn't know if I'm a light weight or not. It's not exactly legal for me to drink just of yet. Being friends, being all happy and what not, sure, in the end that's all fine and dandy. I'm not as easily offended as some of the other senshi out there. At the same time, I'm not as tough as some of the hard necks either." His shoulders shrugged as he looked away for a moment, then back again at the man who sat there, drinking his beer and acting as if he was the wisest man in the world. To Avior, it simply looked like this man was another a*****e who simply wanted to get under his skin. No reason to let him win that fight tonight, nope.

"Naw, nope, not being t0o hard. I'm a kid, I get it. And not only that, I'm one of those 'White Moon' senshi that all of the negaverse seem to hate for simply existing. I'm working on changing that, but things take time, converting takes more planning than one would think. So, if you're good, I'm good too. And I can go about my way, no harm, no foul." Oooh, it was simply killing him to keep his head at a peaceful, patient level, but just how much fun would it be to take a bottle and smash it over this man's head! His words were irritating and grating on his nerves like nothing else. But like he thought before, no. No reason to fight. He could leave this man to do his own thing. Oh but, damned, did he want to!

"See you actually just kinda listed my personal big reason with you guys. I mean, some of you have your little fluffy buddies awakening kids to fight for you as young as frikin' ten. Ten year olds, marching out and setting my boots on fire. That's all you guys. All you. I am not in the mood to make buddies with someone who's apparently old enough to die in a war half the city doesn't understand, but not old enough to crack a beer. Apparently you ARE old enough to tell me that, hey, between the part where I need to collect energy, wonder which of the new recruits are this morning's obituaries, and maybe steal starseeds in the name of kicking you freaks off this planet for a queen we've never met, I should worry about my reputation. God forbid that I not look like a shining pillar of the community when I rip someone's starseed out and watch them spiral into a coma. I'm only four more starseeds away from my next badge! SPIFFY!"

He flashed an wide, forced grin, and then threw the mostly empty beer at the trash bin.

"And you're signing up to convert? That's great kid. Not only are you a preachy child soldier, you're one who drank the Kool Aide and now you think it's going to be a peachy cuddly hug fest between MURDERS. How about I get a video camera, I can get a picture of your happy smiling face when a G.K. bangs chaos into your starseed."

He could see that the young man was getting angry and agitated, and he enjoyed it. Come on then, boy-child. Come show him how angry you were. Fiiiiiight.

"Peculiar.." In his mind, it never occurred to him that people in the negaverse would feel the same as he would. Certainly, some would be kind to him, yes, but to actually share a sentiment that he had known all too well these past few months, well, that was a surprise.

"You're right. That's the exact reason I'm leaving the White Moon people's faction. What do I know of some queen who was part of a war that I had no idea about until recently? I know nothing of your queen either. I do know of my prince, of those that are dedicated to the Dark Mirror court, of those that know that we senshi apparently don't belong here. Do I think much of your queen, or your god kings or what not? Not at all, because it's as you said, I don't know them, I've never met them. I have no reason to trust in them. But Prince Remarque, my leader, or soon to be leader, I KNOW of him, and of his kindness to someone like me who's scared and alone within a kingdom that's not mine, and being attacked just because I am someone I had no control over. " He paused for a moment, thinking of the Kool Aide concept, of the Jonestown reference from far beyond his own birth, and shuddered. It wasn't like that, no, His choices made him separate from them, he wasn't going into this blindly. He honestly wasn't.

"I recognize I don't know anything. I understand that there are even things that I don't know that I don't know. What I don't understand is the reasoning of you Negaversers wanting to kill senshi to 'protect' Earth, as if we weren't born here. And even then, you attack CIVILIANS to further fuel this goal, using the whole "sacrifices must be made" bullcrap to justify your actions. Of course, of course 'the ends justify the means' and all that good stuff, but it makes NO sense. If you're so confused about it, then why the hell are you with them in the first place?"

His fists clenched tighter at his side. Was he stupid enough to be lulled by this instigation, maybe, but what reason did he have to throw the first punch? He wasn't so foolish to follow some sort of 'bait' just because his intelligence or ideals were challenged. That was the first sign of stupidity and immaturity.

"Oh my God you BOUGHT that crap? Kid you sound dumber by the second. There's nothing different about the BMC... they stood right by our side here on earth and in the surrounding and they helped us slaughter by the dozen. They corrupted after maiming, torturing and killing. Oh and branding their own, because why the ******** not. They came to US to be allies, and WE cut them loose because even ARES dumped their pathetic assess. They even lost control over their own paltry a** monsters." He laughed, and it was full of dark and bitter humor.

"I was there Junior. You're not just being ******** stupid, you're not just joining up with murderers and terrorists, you're joining the most incompetent, twisted pack of terrorists this earth has ever produced. They even have to rely on OUR corrupted cats because theirs was too smart to follow that run-away train off a cliff. But Not you huh?"

He pressed his hand into his fist, the sound of knuckles popping muffled by the protective leather.

"Kid why don't we just skip the wait list and let me give you a taste of where that hopped up Abercrombe-model is going to lead you with his bullshit."

Remarque had slapped a pair of giant a** wings on and was calling himself a prince then? Zia was going to love this if she didn't know already. He could only imagine they were stringing this idiot along in the mean time, if they hadn't already corrupted him, or maybe these self declared royals, scraping the bottom of their collective barrel, just needed that much time to pull a corruption. There was just no good tactical reason to let someone walk around like that otherwise. It made no good sense, not if you had someone with the power right damn there.

"Then what exactly am I supposed to do?! I can't JOIN you, I can't stay where I'm at, and the choice I thought I was okay with is a terrible one! Even if I power down, reject what I'm supposed to be, It's STILL not safe to simply exist here! Am I to move away? Oh, Right, I don't even have that option because I'm apparently not old enough to make my own decisions, and yet you're right, I can fight!" All it sounded like was that he was making excuses, unsure of what even to think anymore! If this had happened after he was old enough to make an escape and not be chased after, life would have been SO much easier.

And yet, that wasn't the case. There is no way to come out clean. It hurt. It hurt so terribly in his chest, and the more that this man spoke, the more he felt guilty about feeling such a way!

"Am I just to lay down and die then? To just give up hope because there's nothing worth fighting for? I am not a loose cannon like some of the other people I've met! I'm lost and confused and I fully admit it! Who the hell am I expected to trust and follow? Oh, right, saying MYSELF is the biggest load of bull I've even heard, because why would I follow myself If I don't even know what's going on?!" He took a step back, shaking his head slowly at the man there as he moved away.

"I don't want to fight you. And yet even if I run, you'll be there, taunting me, because you are just like me, scared and confused, with a tongue that's been sharpened by your own indiscretions. And no matter what I say, you're going to turn it around on me into some sort of insult, so just attack me then. Just have your way, and then let me be. I'm a bug, I'm worthless, and I have no meaning to you and you'll remember me as just some coward of a kid who seems to have no mind of their own. But you know what? That's the first step of change, I think. To question what is happening, to wonder what's right or wrong, even if you're called out on it as being foolish."

"Oh little boy, you're still wrong." Realgar continued to advance, something lighting up in his eyes that was dark, and bottomless, like a small glimpse of the Rift, perhaps, dancing in the depths of dull green eyes. "You can run if you want, and I won't blame you... because Kid. I ain't scared. I'm the ******** Boogieman, and I'm gonna tear you apart because THAT'S WHAT CHAOS DOES."

He lunged at the last, fast. blistering fast. He wasn't an still growing young boy who's mind didn't always know where his limbs were ending today, he was a well trained adult and a man who trained constantly, and studied speed like an old lover's skin.

Of course it was a terrible choice the kid was making. If he'd had half the information this boy seemed to have, maybe he'd have taken his chances on something else, but honestly, right now he didn't know. He didn't care. He'd made his choice because he wanted to live... and because he wanted to hurt people the way he'd felt hurt.

There were things that frightened him, but the negaverse was not, at this time, one of them. The pain and hate that twisted with the shadows of chaos weren't strangers to him, they were familiar, and it was only their slow consumption he fled from.

Right now he didn't want to flee from anything. Right now he wanted to hear his blood sing and revel in the silent places where darkness had numbed the little voice that, in most would whisper quietly, or scream This is wrong. Stop this.

Let the kid do whatever he wanted. Let him do it fully informed of what it meant to be part of Chaos.

Not a single word could slip out from Avior's lips again; the man came up on him faster than he could have ever imagined, and it was terrifying. Such an unfathomable difference in speed between himself and the one before him was so great that even with the space inbetween them, there was barely enough time to pull up his wall from the ground before him, his words jumbled too greatly to be interpreted as an attack. That did not matter, though, for whatever magic within him understood what he meant, and his hands came in contact with the ground. The wall glinted ever so faintly between them, keeping him safe for just a little while, though it could not hide his fear of the other man.

He scrambled towards the trashcan where the bottles were, hoping to reach them, to gain some sort of weapon that could be used atleast somewhat effectively.

Ryuthulhu
sorry, I can't link to the attack from my phone, but the wall lasts 10 seconds, is 10 feet wide, can be smashed with a few had hits, and can be walked around. however, it cannot be jumped over.

"Well, you've got the scared part down, huh kid?" He barked with laughter, skidding to a stop just short of the wall and aiming a sharp, vicious kick at it. "How about you chew on this for a while? Because I'm the sort of person is looking for. Am I what you want to be, little boy? You want to be what goes bump in the night?"

He sung another mighty kick at the wall, knowing he could go around, but somehow, trying to find out if he could knock it down before the boys magic wore off seemed like a much better way to hammer him with terror.

Scared? Okay, sure, Avior was scared, and partially annoyed. Every nega he met that attacked him seemed to say the same thing. They always had to be the scariest, the toughest, the strongest. They had to bring 'fear' where ever they went. Couldn't even one be creative and original?

Avior smiled at himself as he scooped up the bottles, having the two in his hands. Unlike the man before him, he KNEW when the wall came down, and as soon as time went out, he threw one of the bottles at the man as hard as he could, following immediately behind it with the second in his hand, in an attempt to hit the man in the head with it.

Realgar's speed was evidently not a brief fluke and not something going away any time soon, because the bottle was swatted aside without so much as a blink and the Captain was flying at him again. The bottle, obeying the laws of physics rather than Hollywood, didn't even have the dignity to shatter when it hit the grass with a thump that was uncomfortably like a theatrical fist hitting flesh.
Perhaps to Avior's relief he seemed to be done bantering. Perhaps much less to his relief this was because he was concentrating on inflicting pain.

How easily the bottle was pushed to the side, did not deter Avior from his charge, still attempting to bring the bottle in his hand down upon the man's head, as if it were a club. Even if the bottle didn't shatter, atleast that proved that this could hurt him more than if the bottle were to simply break.

As he finally got into close enough range to attempt something, the sheer difference in size between them both put a dent in his plans, and he realized.. He could not get away from the man fast enough to avoid any attack that the other had been planning. A foolish mistake, on his part.

One bottle thrown, the other one used as an would be club... Realgar didn't even try and dodge, not really, letting Avior bring it down anyway, so close in that it couldn't finish it's swing before it thudded against the thick padded leather of the uniform. If it hurt, it didn't make it to the mans face, though it made a hollow 'tunk' sound as it impacted awkwardly.

Realgar flashed another thin grin, then wrapped his arms around Aviors, one on either half of his arm, before and after the elbow joint, and yanked savagely against the bend of the arm holding the bottle.
