Hobbies: Photography: Working as a freelance photographer, he's never without a camera. He takes pictures of what he deems pretty, which is what everyone else finds ugly. It could be a slick on a drive way, oil in water in a street gutter, a homeless person's dirty fingernails. He finds the oddest things beautiful. His walls in his bedroom are littered with self portraits and negatives of things he's sold that's been published. He
does get distracted if he sees something he likes and does tend to make a personal project out of it. After all, he's hoping to be in a gallery some day and be considered an actual photographer with a steady gig at a major paper or magazine.
Video games: Oh, he's a gamer. Not the new games, God no. He plays NES and SNES games, old school all the way. He's got the original game boys with original Pokemon games. A retro gamer, if you will. When he's lazing away in his house, he's usually in his boxers, on his futon couch playing a game with a plume of cigarette smoke around him lingering with the smell of scotch. He only plays the older games because nostalgia reasons. That doesn't mean he doesn't have the newer consoles, he does play one or two of the newer games, but with the older games he feels they're
way more of a challenge.
Drinking: Delicious liquor is his downfall. He loves a good drink. Beer, scotch, tequila, he doesn't care. Being sober isn't a strong suit with him. Being sober means dealing with people that can be jerks and he just doesn't want to do that. When he's inebriated he's very chilled out and just wants to have a good time. Of course, this is acquired with a fake ID, as he's definitely not of age. He looks older than he is! Charlie first got started drinking because of a party he went to one night during a summer a few years ago. It was during a particularly hard time in his life, having just lost his mother to cancer and his father kicked him out when he came home with his ears pierced (he's gauged them since then). So liquor helped him through the depression. He doesn't have a refined pallet, nor is he lacking in one, he just takes what he can afford at the time.
Virtues: Friendly and Affectionate: Oh yes, Charlie's a friendly sort. The kind who'll hug you if you're a stranger, kiss your cheek if you're adorable, or pick you up and cart you around. He has no trouble showing how affectionate he is. It does get him in trouble, especially if you're not used to him, but he thinks a little bit of trouble is worth it. Seeing people smile is always worth it.
Honest: He's bluntly honest. He
tries his hardest to make his opinion not so harsh, but most of the time the filter isn't there. He'll let you know what he thinks of your clothing, right down to the socks you wear. Charlie's a very good person to come to if you needs someone's honest opinion on a situation. He doesn't keep secrets well, but he also doesn't lie. Nothing comes from lying, nothing good, anyway.
Humor: Joking, laughter, having fun, that's all he's about. He loves having a good time. He'll make himself look like a complete moron in situations if it means everyone being happy. He likes to tell crude jokes, mainly because he's inebriated, and he's a guy, so d**k jokes, fart noises, dead baby jokes.. These are the things that make him crack up the absolute most.
Flaws: Lazy: Yep, Charlie's lazy. The kind of guy who likes to lounge around on the sofa if he's not being drug out the door. He doesn't move unless he absolutely has to. For classes, he sleeps through most of it and grabs notes from the other students. If he's not on the couch, you can find him in his room with a game controller molded into his hands. Sometimes he's too lazy to get up and go eat, or even shower for like three days in a row.
Addict: It's really easy for him to become addicted to something. Substance abuse is something he's grown up with and is now happening to him. He's addicted to drinking, currently. In the past it was cigarettes, then specific people. It's easy for him to be taken advantage of if someone shows a great interest in him. He'll become addicted to that attention and seek it out any way he can. He'll get addicted to TV shows, anime, and just binge on it for weeks at a time without a care to his day to day life.
Messy: With the lazy and addictive traits comes the absolute mess he lives in. He lives like a college bachelor. He's messy, there's always trash everywhere, clothes piled up, but there's a reason he doesn't have dishes. He knows better. Charlie doesn't look at it as a mess though. He thinks of it as organized chaos. Every now and then a bug'll bite him in the butt and he'll clean up the whole apartment he lives in, but most of the time he lives in filth.

Eyes: His eyes are almond shape and naturally brown
Hair: Style: Shaved on both sides with a faux hawk that flops to one side. It's blue and with yellow tips. His epic side burns are black, like his eyebrows and soul patch.
