(( Drakeinian Dream ))

Given the odds he had even with that roll he still passes.

Upon landing before the rather intimidating, powerful, and utterly awe inspiring Drakeinian Eyphah had almost been unable to find his voice. The guy was just... amazing. That, that was what he wanted, he wanted that power, that look, everything about this guy was what Eyphah wanted. To be such a powerful and amazing creature and all that stood between him and that power was this guy... and a ritual it would seem. He wasn't quite sure about that, how it would go, how he would go about it, and he couldn't help but to fret a bit. He wasn't one that really used magic, he had found that he much preferred to use his claws, his fangs, and his tail barb, he liked to be up close and personal, like to feel the battle in a way that a magic wielder never could. It really was a bit of a bother, to know that he had to know try to become a Drakeinian using a power that he had never used before... damn magic, he should have known that if anything was to come and bite him on the backside that it would be magic. Still, he had the help of a whole cauldron of Dragon Orbs on his side so surely they were going to aid in what was to come? Otherwise what was the point?

The intimidating Drakeinian, he said his name was Rhazes earlier, led him away from the bright light of day as well as the prying eyes that might be about. This was a ritual that was meant for their kind and their kind alone, it wasn't something that they would be sharing with the outside world, and Eyphah was only too happy to take it indoors. This way at least while he was trying to figure it all out he wouldn't have anyone starring at him, waiting for him to fail... save for maybe the other Diabi. It was a bit odd to him, to find that the one who was going to help him was a Diabi. Was it always like this? Was it always one of your own clan? Or was he just lucky in this aspect, getting to see what a Diabi Drakeinian looked like. He seemed a lot more feral then what Eyphah was expecting but he felt that if that was what a Drakeinian looked like then it was something that he could work with. He would still have the power of one of them, the humanoid body, and just look at those wings. He knew full well that he shouldn't be starring at the guy, especially given the look he was getting in return but he couldn't help it. This was what he was striving to become for so long, getting to see what he was going to become it was just made his heart race. It was as though he were in love... though he was certain it was more with the power of the guy and not the guy himself.

After a long walk down the small corridor that didn't allow the pair to walk side by side the cave opened up into a massive cavern that was lit up by torches and had what looked to be some sort of magic circle in the center. He starred at it, his glowing eyes going quite wide, as the Drakeinian explained what he had to do, the first step it would seem was him spreading the orbs out that he'd collected around the circle, then he was to sit in the center and the ritual would begin. Rhazes would be leaving him alone here, allowing him to do the rest on his own, and Eyphah supposed that he could only hope for the best. There were a lot of orbs to lay out, a lot of power gathered in those orbs, and he could only hope that when it all coallesed together that it would do what he wanted it to do, that being turn him into a powerful Drakeinian beast like the one that he had just met. A determined look showing on his face the Diabi set to work laying out the orbs that he had gathered, counting them as he went. There were a lot of them, thirty seven it would seem, most of them gathered from battles, though there were a few that had come from other sources. The Diabi orb he got after the battle against the abomination, the Gaili orb he'd found on a walk with Tallulah, and the Ayrala orb that he and D had stolen from caravan of a two-legs. These orbs were powerful in not only the souls they contained but the stories they held as well.

Once they were all laid out he moved carefully to the center of the circle sitting down there, facing the Diabi orb since it was the only one of its kind, "Alright then, here we go." He murmured, drawing in a deep breath, let it out slowly, and then let his eyes close. He would concentrate hard, focus himself at the task at hand, and hope against hope that he would be able to do this. There were thirty-seven dragon souls, one of his own clan amongst them, that were all meant for the same goal, and he felt that he had it under control. He hadn't come this far only to fail after all. Not when he'd worked so hard, fought so hard, gathered so many orbs, and did all that he could to become what he'd seen in Rhazes. No, that power was meant to be his he thought to himself, concentrating harder, hoping that his desires would reach... whoever it was that in control of what happened next.

Unknown to him, due to his eyes being closed, the orbs all the way around the Diabi were glowing now, their power seeming to charge the magic circle that the Diabi was sitting in. Were it not for the torchlight he might very well have noticed the glow but as it was he was oblivious, just hoping against hope that he was doing it right... and then there was a massive flash of power, one that went first in toward the Diabi before it seemed to burst around him, putting out all fo the torches, plunging the world into darkness.

Eyphah's eyes slid open and he sat there a moment, wondering what had happened what had gone wrong, and if there was anyway to fix it. Pushing to his feet he stumbled forward, out of the cavernous room, down the corridor, and out to where the other was waiting for him, "Hey! Something happened! There was this... this massive explosion and... umph..." He was silenced as a pair of pants were thrown at him, hitting him square in the face, and he stood there for a moment with them hanging off of him before he reached up to pull them off with his... hands? Any yelling and cursing that had come to mind to do and say seemed to be completely forgotten as he starred down at the strange, claws limbs, and he gave a bit of a grin, setting to work inspecting the rest of himself. Once he was done with that he seemed to realize why the pants were tossed his way, he wasn't wearing a stitch of clothing, something that the two-legs seemed so adamant about wearing, "Ah, right." He muttered, putting them on carefully, making sure not to cut them up too much with his claws, before he set to inspecting himself once more, purring over how beautiful he looked... though really wished he had a mirror. It was when he was preening and posing that the other Diabi basically told him to get lost before wandering back to whatever he might have been doing before Eyphah arrived.

Not the most friendly of guys but at the moment he didn't even care, all that mattered was that he'd gotten what he wanted, he was Drakeinian now, and he meant to celebrate! Though... maybe after a nap. It seemed the ritual had taken a lot out of him, more then he'd realized in his mad dash to find Rhazes for help, and now he couldn't help but to plop down on the ground, tail swishing behind him, yawning widely, "Eesh, I'm tired." Going back home to show off was going to have to wait until after a nap but for real after that, celebration time would begin!
