After being trailed and attacked from by the last Kiandri the young woman had decided that it was time that she try and face it rather than run. She wasn't proud of her running away last time, but she had certainly been overwhelmed, and Tilawen wasn't about to let that happen again.

Unfortunately for her, the dragon was more conniving than she was, and was once again laying in wait for her to pass by. Even as wary as she though she was being this just wasn't her day, as it was the previous time. Lightning crackled and flashed in her general direction and instead of just trying to roll out of the way she send a wave of fire to collide with it.

The combination of the lightning and fire caused a small explosion, sending sand flying in every direction. Like small daggers, numerous cuts opened up on the arm she used to shield her face. The explosion left a crater in the sand as well a dust cloud that sat heavily in the air as it slowly drifted back down towards the earth. It was perfect cover for both attacker and victim, as it shielded them both from prying eyes. I also made it hard to know if you were about to walk into the one you were trying to avoid.

As it was the young woman was trying with all her might not to cough. The dust irritated her lungs and it was took all her effort to not do it. A rumbling of annoyance and a faint image of a lumbering dragon trying to search for its quarry loomed in the dust cloud.

Tilawen quietly slipped away, this wasn't the time to try and fight it...she needed to better equipped. So the dragon would be quite disappointed to discover that its quarry had simply vanished into thin air.
