The long hair club. Wasn’t that what she had called it back at Knightside? They were closer friends because of the length of their hair, and that made it both kind of sad and very funny. She hadn’t seen Perenna since she started at Crystal, and now that she was taking a weekend home she was very excited to see her friend. Her younger friend. Oh how this would make her be somewhat of a laughingstock if her new school friends heard about it, but she really wasn’t going to spread it around that she was having a sleep over with a twelve year old so they really could keep their thoughts to themselves. Just as she would keep hers to herself.
Her own hair was down and she was brushing it through, ears open for any sounds that would indicate her friend had arrived. She wasn’t too excited. Just enough. Or maybe a little bit too excited. She had helped her mom make some cupcakes and had the house somewhat mostly decorated for Halloween, for what was a sleepover without a plethora of decorations?
Of course, they would be going to the movies first, then back home for cupcakes and Halloween movies. It was going to be the best night ever. Samantha jumped up, grinning as she heard a knock on the door. Finally!
The girl all but ran over, composing herself at the last second to open the door and grin at her friend. “You made it!”ATh e a r t They can get attacked by a youma or something on the way to the movies I thought! I liked your sleepover idea! And thank you for rping with me! heart

Perenna smiled as she held onto a plate of rice crispy marshmallow balls that her mom had helped her make. They were each partially dipped in melted dark chocolate and rolled with sprinkles. She thought they were awesome sleepover treats! Plus.. They were not all that hard to make!
Her mom followed her to the door and helped her hold the tray as she rang the doorbell. Once the door opened, Perenna quickly gave her old friend a hug. It was too bad that she went to a different school now, but eventually, she would be joining Samantha there too!
"Of course I'd come! I haven't seen you in forever." Perenna gave her a quick frown and then smiled again. "I also brought some snacks! We made them a little earlier today and also..." She held out a small purse in which her mom had gave her money for the movie as well as a few zip-lock bags.
Perenna whispered. "We can also sneak some snacks in to the movies if you want." She wasn't sure how Samantha felt about sneaking in food, but since Perenna never liked the food at the movies, that's what her mom would have to do in case they got hungry.

“That sounds good to me! I hate paying the prices that they have at the movie theater. It’s completely crazy.” She took the tray of really yummy looking sweets from Perenna’s mother and walked them to her kitchen. “I’m all ready to leave for the movies when you are, I want to be able to get good seats, and I think I want to take a quick peek into the bookstore while we’re at the mall.” Sam gave a guilty little grin. “You know how I am with shopping. I can’t help myself! But I do really want to make sure we can get our tickets. I’ve heard that this movie is a really popular one.”
She wondered what snacks they should take to the movies, but then decided on some gummies and juice pouches, as well as a few bags of chips. That was the three best things, wasn’t it? Chewy, salty and juice. You couldn’t see a movie without something to drink.
“I’m ready when you are, I think. Unless there’s some other kind of food that you want to bring? Is there? We have some crackers and some cookies if you want to take some of them!”
