If you haven't clicked the Cash TV lately, you may not have stumbled upon the trailer for "Ender's Game". The book series has been out for a while, but I can only claim to have read the first. There's a number of obvious differences, like that conversation that's going to occur on the lake scene, but I'm hoping it stays to the plot myself.

I'm hoping if there is a videogame, it doesn't take you through the motions of the plot. The book incorporated puzzle games, number games, dodgeball, military training, and alien invaders. As a linear game, I'd very much like to be able to replay some of those things. On the cast? Harrison Ford may be brilliant, but I'd have not picked him. He's locked himself in the role of Hero; and this anti-hero persona isn't all that different from his '30's Indiana Jones, where those in his profession routinely walked off with valuable artifacts for personal financial gain, or his role in Blade Runner, where his role as a detective involved nearly getting shot and being in a state of active denial.

Someone older would be preferred. Christopher Lambert (Highlander) has done gritty and would easily look the part. Likewise, Woody Harrelson (ZombieLand) would have fit the role rather well.
