Psychic Abilities:
Mental Manipulation - Doll is able to manipulate the thoughts and mental activity of those under her influence. Her abilities only affect people who have a lack of focus and can't protect themselves from her psychic assault. She typically targets children because of their innocence and willingness to accept a 'talking' doll as an 'imaginary friend'.
Psychic Shield - Doll is able to hold up a psychic barrier to prevent others from sensing her presence within the doll.
Telekinesis - Doll is able to move objects without ever coming into contact with them, but this is limited to the mental and physical strength of the one she is controlling.
Mind Control - Doll is able to control the mind of whoever holds her, but only if they are unfocused enough for her mental manipulation to take over. This is similar to possession and is often confused to be demonic though it is not.
Telepathy - Doll can 'speak' to anyone within her range through a psychic link. She often uses this to steer people away or draw them closer to her doll body. It is the power that allows her to manipulate children.
Personality: Doll is cold and heartless in reality, but she acts kind and caring when speaking to a potential victim to lure them into a false sense of security. When controlling a victim, she will try to act the part of their role in society. She still loves animals and approaching one will bring back her memories of the past.
Biography: Desideria was a simple farm girl many years ago. She was born in the countryside and raised around animals leading her to love them more than other humans. She lived a happy life until her family experienced hardships in the form of a long drought and a disease that killed much of the cattle. Her parents were forced to sell the farm and they moved to a town nearby. Her father accepted a job working with a company that he had dealings with before he lost his farm. Her mother attempted to adapt to life in the suburbs, but it just wasn't the same. Desideria had similar troubles, but hers came in the form of bullying, both in and out of school. She eventually stood up to the bullies and scared most of them away, but she hadn't expected them to be cowardly enough to draw a weapon on her. One of the bullies shot her through the heart with a weapon he apparently stole from his father. Desideria was in despair at this point in her life and accepted the cold embrace of death even as the paramedics tried to resuscitate her. In the end, it was a vain effort. Desideria died that day, but she was not completely gone. Her mother, unable to accept the loss of everything including her beloved daughter, explored the dark arts and necromancy in the hopes of finding a way to resurrect her daughter. She performed various rituals in secret, but it was a fruitless effort. In the end, she was forced to bind her daughters soul to a locket, with her picture in it, inscribed with various runes and markings. She placed the locket inside of her daughter's favorite doll and prayed that it would work. Desideria awoke within the doll several days later. She was horrified by what her mother had done and, in a blind rage, made her mother commit suicide with her newly gained powers. Desideria fell into even deeper despair when she came to her senses and realized what she had done. She was terrified of what she had become and wanted nothing more than to die again. She tried and tried, but she could not destroy the doll and was completely unaware of the locket in it's core. She left home that day as a doll and spread the hatred and despair of her loss by making children kill their parents or themselves. She eventually started to see it as her 'duty' to force others to see how wonderful their lives previously were by taking everything away. Desideria now kills people for fun and seeks a place where she can spread the most chaos as 'Doll, The Heartless'.
Other:
~ The rabbit doll is the character, not the girl holding it. Although technically the girl will be the initial victim of the doll's mind control. The doll can be switched by moving the locket to a new one.
~ The psychic power stemming from the doll actually originates from the girl's spirit, rather than her mind.
~ The reason Desideria could not destroy the doll was because the doll itself cannot use weapons. The doll itself is harmless if there is no possible victim in range. This may change if the locket is placed in a new object.
~ The locket is the object binding Desideria to this world, not the doll. The locket can be placed inside of other objects, but dolls are preferred.
~ Doll is classified as an Immortal Soul because her spirit is locked inside of an object. As long as the locket is not destroyed, she will not die.
~ She has not lost her love of animals. If approaching an animal of any kind she will revert back to her former self and lose all hostility. Werewolves don't affect her at all. Sometimes, if the victim is strong willed enough, they can regain control over themselves and drop Doll, gaining freedom once again.
