That was rather odd he thought to himself as he looked from side to side, squinting through the snow that had come on rather quickly and rather heavily. He'd been in the pursuit of the dragon from earlier, along with another one that it had joined forces with, determined to catch up with them when the storm hit. It was bright, it was cold, it was blinding... and he was pretty certain that he might be lost. He had been chasing them for some time now, not wanting to fall behind, but the moment the snow had started he'd completely lost track of where they were. Their coloration made it all put impossible to see where they had gone... and as he turned around he realized that he had no idea where he was. Everything around him looked the same, the falling snow was filling in his tracks, and he was instantly terrified. Where was he? Where were they? Where was Eyphah? The fact that he didn't know anything of these things had the Merkein's heart thudding painfully in his chest.
The Merkein dragged in a deep, shaky breath, "Calm down, Tallulah..." He told himself, knowing that if he panicked that it was only going to get worse. He had to be prepared in case the Aiskala were still out there after all! He couldn't allow himself to get so overwhelmed that he left himself open to a mauling by the prickly dragons. He had to be ready! He looked from side to side, in front of him, in back of him, even above him, but thus far there was really no luck. He had no clue where the two dragons were at the moment. The biggest question was were they still nearby? They might be but they could also have seen the storm as the perfect cover to help them escape from the Merkein that had been hounding them for some time now. They were likely used to the snow in a way that the water dwelling Peisio was not. This was the weather that they were built for whereas he felt like he might freeze his tail off at any moment. It seemed as though everything was against him when it came to this battle, meaning that he was going to have to break off pursuit entirely, not as though he hadn't done so already, so that he could try to make his way back. Surely the Diabi would come looking for him when the storm started to get bad, right? Giving a nod he turned in the direction that he was somewhat certain that he'd come from, and started back that way.
As he was walking toward where he hoped the Diabi would be located he heard a roar behind him. He wasn't sure if it was a dragon or if it was the wind but given the situation Tallulah didn't care. The noise was more then enough to send him racing forward at top speed toward where he hoped his teacher was going to be in. He didn't care anymore about the battle, about those two missing Aiskala, or anything else at the moment save for getting safely back to where the Diabi was! He wanted to find him and once he had he wanted nothing more then to go with him back to the ice cave so that they could wait out this horrible store! Oh, how he was starting to miss the oppressive heat of Eowyn he thought to himself as he ran. He'd much rather be there then here, at least there he could go swimming in the ocean or the oasis, here it was nothing but horrible white snow.
