Enjoys Baking – Sara loves to bake. She enjoys making deserts and she tends to channel a lot of her creativity into crafting really impressive dishes. Want a soufflé? Sara can make one. Need a Baked Alaska stat? Sara’s your girl. If it comes in the form of pastry or sugar, odds are the girl can make it, or she knows where you can get it.
Writing Poetry – Sara’s no Shakespeare, but she can whip up a sonnet in no time flat. She loves to write poetry, another source of her creative spirit. However, she tends to be very nervous about sharing some of her prose with others. She is not the kind to give up though, even if she’s having a bad day for writing.
Yoga – Sara likes how calm Yoga makes her feel, it helps her to battle some of her shyness, as she’s slowly working her way toward the front of her yoga class with her mat in the attempt to open up to the others that go there. She’s not averse to making new friends through the power of Yoga.
Tennis – Sara loves tennis. One of the few sports where she refuses to daydream, Sara wants to maybe go pro with Tennis. She knows doing so will be hard, but it is something she is really passionate about. Do not get between her and the remote during the tournament at Wimbledon. It will not end well
Virtues:
Polite – Sara was raised with manners. She minds her p’s and q’s and does her best to say please and thank you to everyone. She grew up being taught that if she didn’t have anything nice to say, then to not say anything. She was told to always act like a proper lady, no matter who she is with.
Creative Thinker – Sara’s mind is always creating new things. New places, new worlds and feelings for her. She tends to express this in her baking and poetry, but it can be seen even in some of the little things she does. She might stop and watch a flower for a few minutes because it inspired her to write a poem about it. When creation happens, it happens, and she’s not inclined to stymie it. She also tends to give her friends nicknames based on what she thinks of them. She’s not afraid to lend her brain to her friends if they need some nifty ideas – and she’s always willing to help out with any problems they have, even if her answers are unorthodox.
Calm – Most of the time, Sara exudes a calm, almost serene demeanor. Things seem to rarely bother her, and when they do it is very sort lived. When she does get upset, it can be rather loud as she rarely expresses these feelings and they tend to all come out at once. In times of trouble or heavy stress, she manages to keep a level head. She is the proverbial leaf on the wind. Not one to panic unless there is really no other option. She can easily be seen as calm harbor in the storm.
Modest – Sara does not take compliments well, more often than not being quite modest about things. She’s not one to brag, and goes out of her way to ensure others get the credit they deserve before she does. She’s not in it for the glory, but more for the enjoyment of a job well done.
Flaws:
Shy – Sara doesn’t do well approaching or being approached by others. Even though she tends to keep her calm, she has a habit of fidgeting and looking for an excuse to leave a social situation if it is not someone she knows or trusts. She tries her best to be polite, but if it gets to be too much, all pretense of politeness goes out the window, and she will run away from a situation.
Daydreamer – Her creativity comes at the price of her concentration. When her muse strikes, it tends to send her off to her own little world that only she can see. She has a habit of stopping in mid task and daydreaming for quite some time when something really inspires her to create. These daydreams can be very long, and tend to get interrupted often, much to her dismay.
Overly Polite – Being so polite also means that she’s sometimes overly polite. She might give people the wrong impression and either come off as cold or too nice. She also always uses proper table manners, and can get quite snippy with people if they do not follow suit.
Distant – Of course, being as shy as she is. When she feel like someone is trying to get close to her, she closes herself off and puts as much distance between her and them. It can take a bit to work past her defenses, but once someone does, they will get to see a side of Sara that only a few have. Otherwise, she will keep them always at arm’s length, to keep herself safe.
