These elegant twins, have arrived a little late for Obon, but still came ready to celebrate it. They...ahhh...had interesting adventures getting here and seem to have gotten lost. Are you interested in hearing or perhaps being a part of their adventure? These two have quite the tale to tell.....
Welcome, to the Choose your own Adventure event. These two ladies celebrate Japanese Obon, a Buddhist event for commemorating one's ancestors. These two late as they were had some trouble with the restless spirits on the way here seeing so few knew the traditions here. They Decided not to find a home until all the spirits had been led home. 1. Once a day, Ice or I will post the next set of options and instructions. Some posts might ask for dice rolls in order to see what happens. This is a CYOA with a bit of luck! Even if you choose a trickier path that would get you eliminated, sometimes, you can be saved by sheer luck. As for individual dice rolls, they will be explained if/when they come up as they are all situational. Good luck rolling!

Twilight sparkles gently above, just barely illuminating the path through dark foreboding clouds. A bone chilling wind whisks heedlessly around you and you realize you've gotten lost on the way to Obon!
In front of you, you see two twin mares. Perhaps they can give you directions?
As you approach, they welcome you with a sweet, smile and offer you a lantern to help guide you.
"This space is very dangerous," they warn, "the spirits here are not at rest. You are lucky you found us. Without the lantern, you surely would have been...lost," the finish in unison and as if to punctuate their claims, you notice out of the corner of your eye, a large shadow flicker and shift before vanishing.
A shiver runs down your spine. Perhaps you should go with them...They seem to know what they're doing.
As you travel, you come upon a split in the road. To the right, the path continues on in open road. The clouds seem to have parted and helped to better illuminate the path. To the left, the path winds off into a dark forest, thick with trees and dancing with shadows. No light penetrates that path save the haze your lantern casts.
The twins look to you, wanting to know which direction you wish to go. They inform you both paths will help you get to your destination.
So what do you do?
