Jeanne had what some people might consider something of an odd hobby. Perhaps a bit of a sadistic one. She liked to wander around at night, often in shady parts of town, and wait for someone to mug her.
It was practice, she would insist - honing her Krav Maga skills by throwing around idiots in the dark.
Right then, she had her boot at the throat of a gentleman who had tried to pickpocket her.
"And this, sir, is why we don't harass strange ladies," she said, chuckling. "They might just know how to break you."
By all appearances, she could easily be a criminal - or one of those terrorists or gang members or whatever they were that were all over the news.

Recently, Avior had begun to LOVE hopping through trees. Perhaps that was partially because of an anime-related thing, when characters would shoot lines out of their waist devices, and go pretty much pelvic thrusting to their next spot. Granted, Avior could not do the pelvic thrusting thing, he DID manage to keep going from one spot to another, and hadn't fallen down yet!
It was tiring, however, and after a while, he stopped, sitting down on a branch near a more lighted part of a shady part of town. Sure, it wasn't the most.. It wasn't the safest place to be, but atleast he could check and see what the negaverse or the Dark Mirror court would be doing. If he was to join them.. Well, he would have to learn from him. He drank from a water bottle he kept in his apron, relaxing.
To his surprise, a rather lovely woman was walking around.. And then some man came up and tried to mug her. In a flash he jumped down to her side, and yet.. There was nothing to do. The woman had easily taken down the offending man.
"That.. That was AWESOME!" He could not help but exclaim to the civilian, giving a little clap. "See! This is why I don't think all civilians need to be protected! They can protect themselves far better than we can do at times!"
As amazing as she was.. SOOO wasn't going to get closer to her. No idea if she what she said was true. What if she WAS strange and just looking to hurt people.
"Oh, I'm one of those.. Sailor Senshi that you might have heard of. But I'm NOT a terrorist, not at all! ... That sounds suspicious, doesn't it? Honest, though, I'm not! I'm just a kid.. Going around trying to make sure no one gets hurt! But like I said, you don't need protecting now, do you?"

Jeanne spun around, not-so-accidentally digging her heel into the pickpocket's throat. He made a soft gurgling noise, and she lifted her foot off. "Oops," she said, with no real feeling behind it. Then, she approached this new person, eyes narrowed.
"You call yourself a Senshi, huh?" She asked, a heavy slather of New Orleans in her accent. She paused at just outside arm's reach, tilting her head and putting her hands on her hips. "News calls you terrorists, why shouldn't I believe 'em?" She started walking again, narrowing her eyes at him. "You are right about one thing, though, I don't need anyone's protection," she acknowledged. Never had, and she hoped she never would.

"I call myself Avior. Senshi or no, I'm still just as much of a human as anyone else is." His own accent was gently dusted in his Hindi accent. After living so long in the states, it hardly made much of an impact on his speech anymore. Every so often it would come out heavy and thick, especially when he would start to panic. But, nope, that wasn't the case, not just yet.
As much as he wanted to take a step back from the woman, there was no reason to be afraid of her, nope, not at all. Even if she tried to swing at him, or mace him or whatever she could plan to do, he was fairly certain, at his stage of Super, that he was more than strong and fast enough to evade her. That's how it was to be with normal humans. Evade, not hurt.
"Well, in the same fashion, why SHOULD you believe them? I'm not arguing about what's good or evil or anything. I do know that I am independent of the other senshi that go about. Maybe they are terrorists, I dunno." Avior simply shrugged, giving the man on the ground a little sad look. You never know what reasons people had to doing such things. Maybe they were just trying to steal to feed their families or something. Of course, it wasn't that easily dismissed; it was still wrong, but atleast such things should deserve less of a punishment. He wasn't about to get between the woman and the man though, nope.
"Well then, if all is right and safe in your world, I might as well be off and about on my way, hmm?"

"Well, mister Avior," Jeane said, her voice full of heavy skepticism as she began to casually prowl around him like a predatory animal examining the target of its hunt, "you seem to be having an awfully good night, if your cheery attitude is anything to go by."
She didn't seem at all concerned, either - and why sohuld she be? There was nothing on these streets that had yet been scary enough to deter her. The scars almost like clawmarks on her side, flashed occasionally by movements of her jacket, were almost testimony to how little there was that frightened her.
"Oh no, boyo, you don't get to just float back off into the night. You ain't Batman," she tapped her foot. "You're gonna stay right here, and you're gonna talk to me about what you know about your crazy senshi friends or whatever y'all call yourselves, because I am damn curious. I tend to consider these streets my territory, you understand? And I want to know who might be encroachin'. I keep findin' people passed out on the side of the road and in alleyways, and ain't no proper reason for it, and that is very upsetting to me."

Nope. Nope nope nope, Avior didn't enjoy this at all. This would be the SECOND time someone was walking around him, like he was some sort of display. Atleast she wasn't tugging at his clothes like that man was. And honestly, he wasn't sure if a civilian scared him all too much. Just irritating.
"No, not especially good. There's just too much anger and hate and sadness in this world already, so I rather be happy than not." It was easy enough to say that, but to actually convince himself of such a thing.. Well, that's a bit harder.
"Man, I wish I was Batman. How much more respect would I get? Alot, I'd say. Now to answer your questions, That I don't know. I don't have any other senshi friends. I don't talk to others, we're not organized like that. To me, it feels like no one even really cares what another senshi does, unless you're super powerful, or a little one. Me? I'm just looking for someone, and if I stumble upon a person who might need help, then I'm there. Like I said, I'm independent of the other senshi. It's not like an organization, more of.. a category. Like a doctor, or a burglar. Just a minor occupation." He didn't want to be around this woman anymore, so when he got the opportunity, he leapt back up into the tree from where he jumped down initially, getting out of her range, and sitting down on a branch right out of her reach.
"These people.. The ones you find passed out. They are probably energy drained, and I know that normal senshi can't do that. Only the negaverse can steal energy like that."

Jeanne tilted her head to the side. "Well, that's a philosophy," she said, without further comment. She stopped directly in front of him, every line in her body speaking of dangerous potential. Her eyes narrowing slightly as she considered his answer.
"That's damned interestin'," she said, tilting her head to the side. Then, she actually laughed out loud when he jumped into a tree. "Are you scared? Of me?" She asked, and then she threw her head back and laughed. "Ain't y'all superpowered heroes or something? And you're scared of me!"
That felt good, she couldn't deny it. She liked having people scared of her. "So how the hell d'ya become a Senshi?" She was genuinely curious. "I'm guessin' there aren't schools for it." This sounded interesting. Fascinating. Fun, even.
"And who the hell is the Negaverse?"

"Scared of you? Well, no, but you can still be a threat. Especially after you took down that guy. Powered or not, I can't save myself from being shot with a gun, stabbed with a knife, or even maced. I'll heal quicker, but.. Yeah, I'm not immortal. Think what you will, and if you think I'm scared, good for you. I'm a Senshi, Not stupid." She could taunt all she wanted, he simply shrugged it off from the safety of his perch. There was no WAY he was going to be taken down by a civilian. Nope.
"It's really stupid sounding, to be honest. A cat comes out of now where when you're in danger, goes 'Oh! You have magic! Fight the Negaverse!' and what not. Then they leave you high and dry with no idea what's going on. Then again, I might have been a wayward case. If I had a choice.. I wouldn't have become a senshi. It's like.. Joining a 'cause' not knowing who started it, why it was started, what the heck your own purpose is, or if you are even right or wrong. Someone just signed you up when you weren't even asking. I'm actually going to switch sides soon. But that's a story for another day." He didn't need to tell this civilian about all of his personal back story, after all, he doubted it meant anything to her in the first place.
"The Negaverse.. Hrm.. Well, they are people who think that senshi are plagues on the earth, and wants to kill us all. Which, in essence, we ARE reincarnated aliens, I guess, but that's no reason to kill us. We're just immigrants from somewhere quite a bit further than the nearest country. And they drain the people they are trying to 'protect', stealing sorta... Kinda like life force from them, and that leaves them all tired and passed out. Hence the people you find going about." A little grimace formed on his lips as he gazed down further at the woman below.
"What, are you thinking about becoming a senshi? It's a little silly thing, really. You'd basically be looking for a cat."

Jeanne tilted her head to the side. That was damned good information. So they weren't immune to bullets - or, she supposed, knives. She'd have to start carrying some with her when she went out. Usually she left them at home - no use dirtying good artistic blades - but hell, if there were crazy people out that might be after her, a shanking might just be what she needed to do.
She tilted her head to the side and considered this other information, too. So it came from cats? "Switch sides, huh? So just because nobody told you what your purpose was, and you're too much of a little b***h to find it on your own, you're gonna become a traitor? ********' fascintatin'." There was nothing in her voice but mild interest, really, but inside she was seething. Who the hell did that?
She'd have to be more alert of cats, as it were. Or of danger, though how often did she really find herself in actual mortal danger? She was a trained martial artist, quick-thinking, tough.
"Reincarnated aliens." Jeanne's eyebrows floated upwards. "Boy, are you high? That is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard in my entire life." There was no way that was true. "And you say they drain people of life force, huh? And you want to be one of 'em? That's a real great moral decision."Cooro Cooro JENNIE IS MEAN AND KINDA VULGAR DON'T MIND HER

Avior was slowly, but surely becoming more and more irritated with this woman. He really did hate people like this, overly aggressive, using such vulgar language, and acting like she was the queen of the world. and there was no real escaping this, not without her calling out more obscenities.
"Excuse me, but I don't really care about your opinion. You can think what you think, but I don't have to be subjected to it, now do I?" Oh how he wish he was a lesser person like she was. Or maybe even like that one senshi, Pomona, who could breathe fire. Oh how he would have LOVED to set that woman ablaze! But no, his walls could not do such a thing. So instead, he decided to leave.
"Goodbye, Miss. Have a good evening." From there, he simply turned on his heel up in the tree, leaping from his perch there, to the roof of the closest building. Even if she didn't believe him, the evidence of the physical feats that he could do should have been enough to show that he wasn't exactly human. Not anymore anyway. Geh, that would be the LAST time he approached a civilian on civilian fight.
Songstress Kitsune I think this might be a FIN for me. XD
