Do you attend church regularly? If not, why? If so, does it make a difference in your life?

I don't attend church on a regular basis anymore, mostly because I've yet to find a church where I really fit in. In my experience, more liberal-leaning churches that align halfway decently with my beliefs worship too casually for my liking, or even worse, are trying too hard to put a "hip" spin on religion, and I really, really hate that. I can see how it might be appealing to some people, but it feels like a bad joke to me.
Most more traditional, "old school" churches tend to not like me too much.

I think being part of a church is important, but I kind of consider myself to be un-churched at the moment. My church is kind of becoming one of those hipster churches with light shows and set pieces and a fair trade coffee bar that you hear about on all those progressive Christian blogs. I'm a simple girl who prefers a simple church. Not that my church doesn't do awesome things. I just feel like my church is trying to advertise a product to me rather than just letting their actions speak for them.
I began attending my church as a curious agnostic when it was very recently planted (I was in attendance at their second service EVER). They don't claim a denomination, but I'd say it leans towards being Evangelical/Baptist. Which I don't necessarily have a problem with (aside from the fact that the way Protestants worship is VASTLY different from what I'm used to), but as I explore Christianity on my own, I find myself leaning towards being Anabaptist/Quaker with an interest in giving Catholicism another try.

Nope One can say, I lost faith. Or, I had my eyes opened, that there wasn't enough to prove to me; the existence of a god or any of the religious figures of past... save for Gandhi, who some could say was for all religions, yet clinging to none.
I would rather follow something I know is true, and have facts backing. Than follow an interpenetration of a book, that has been gathered from other texts, rewritten and translated thousands of millions of times
Side note, anyone besides me would like the Opening poster to answer these as well?

Ophelias Bathwater I think being part of a church is important, but I kind of consider myself to be un-churched at the moment. I'm a simple girl who prefers a simple church. Not that my church doesn't do awesome things. I just feel like my church is trying to advertise a product to me rather than just letting their actions speak for them. I can't find a vomiting emote right now, but I wish I could. That sort of stuff just feels so lame and gimmicky to me. And so often I feel like it undermines the genuinely good things many churches do. I'm sure my feelings about this have been strongly influenced by my upbringing, but seriously, trying to make religion "cool" and "hip" is a losing battle. Let's all just accept that and move on accordingly.

I used to go to church all the time then I kinda outgrew them. The local churches will focus on being "saved" and thats about it. They don't go in depth and they never talk about Hell. They are also growing increasingly liberal with the teachings and I do not appreciate that. When I'm able I do like to read up on stuff and study on my own but thats becoming rare since I cant even look at a Bible without my mom bashing me.
