Why is your crystal ball clear? You cant use that to divine. If its even really quarts it wouldnt work. It kinda looks like lead crystal to me. Crystal balls are suppost to have flaws so when you read them what your actually doing is interpreting symbols that you see in the flaws of the ball like a little upside down heart my mean love. Kinda like when you scry with black mirrors or do dream interpretation. Im not trying to be mean dont take it as that please.

Most crystal balls are clear and made of glass, lead crystal, reconstituted quartz, or natural quartz. Although clear quartz is the most common crystal used for scrying, smoky quartz, amethyst, beryl, selenite, and obsidian have also been used. To reduce reflections, place the ball on a dark surface such as a small black pillow or cushion, piece of velvet, or silk handkerchief reserved especially for this purpose.

I know how to scry with a crystal ball and just because it was expensive doesnt mean its real. As yours is explicively clear Im assuming it isnt really quartz. As I said before its SUPPOST to have flaws thats what you are interpreting. The designs and fissures inside the sphear. Clear quartz is most commonly usex because opaque ones are harder to read.

They are not suppose to have flaws, that's just what you don't want... Your feeling and seeing the energy form the crystal, that is coming from the universe. There are also different forms that visions come in. You can get actual visions of places and people, or you can get symbolic pictures. Another form that visions come in are color clouds. Although no one has been successful in identifying what each color cloud means, the following has been pretty accurate for a lot of seers. Blue clouds symbolize success of career or business Gold clouds symbolize prosperity, steady cash flow, and renewed romance to come Gray/Dark gray symbolize ill fortune Black clouds symbolize some seriously bad stuff coming one's way Green clouds symbolize health, happiness of the heart Orange clouds symbolize hidden aggression and anger, troubled emotions Red clouds symbolize danger to come. This person must watch themselves Silver clouds symbolize troublesome times ahead followed by goodness White clouds symbolize very good fortune to come Yellow clouds symbolize upcoming obstacles

You can usually tell laser cut glass because it’s flawless and perfect. Even the best crystal balls will have at least a few minor flaws if you look close enough. In fact, some practitioners actually prefer the flaws because they use them as a divinatory aid. Also on a real tumbled crystal ball you can sometimes see the grooves from the tumbling on the outside From http://robjo.wordpress.com/2009/03/29/buying-a-crystal-ball-and-not-getting-ripped-off/ I couldnt copy and paste this from books.google.com but heres the link to a book called crystal ball gazing for beginners on the page that discribes what a real crystal ball should look like including the flaws it should have. http://books.google.com/books?id=syhSjHzNKpAC&pg=PA18&lpg=PA18&dq=crystal+balls+flaws&source=bl&ots=lFx4w1y8I1&sig=5diKDO7N6F6hQKmJ3E6i2Bg1HNk&hl=en&sa=X&ei=7j2PUsziKIf3oASr14Ag&ved=0CDcQ6AEwBQ Clear natural quartz crystal balls with marks that look like cracks, inclusions and sparkling rainbows are best for clairvoyance. Some people mistakenly think these are broken but ones that are totally clear inside are much harder to use. http://www.cassandraeason.com/divination/crystal_balls.htm Natural quartz crystal will generally have slight internal imperfections (called "inclusions"), and these flaws are considered desirable, such as tiny internal cracks (that produce "rainbows" inside the quartz), or other various inclusions, sometimes called "Fairy Dust" or "Fadden Lines." http://www.ebay.com/gds/NATURAL-v-s-MAN-MADE-CRYSTALS-EXPLAINED-/10000000008370451/g.html I did find one website that said you dont want flaws but then again she said you could use glass and if you know anything about crystal balls its you CANT use glass. Real crystals have vibratory rates that tap into that part of you thats linked to the divine. Glass wont give you that.

GS Neo Queen Galaxia At closer look my does have some bubble flaws and in the middle the is this wiggly line I think bubbles come from glass not crystal could be wrong though. And for a ball that size $40 is wqy to cheap. Something the size of a tennis ball runs about $40-80 depending on where you get it from. I would expect that to be about $100 or so.

Zabora Lionheart I did find one website that said you dont want flaws but then again she said you could use glass and if you know anything about crystal balls its you CANT use glass. Real crystals have vibratory rates that tap into that part of you thats linked to the divine. Glass wont give you that. That REALLY depends on your view. You can scry in just about anything, and traditionally witches would have used glass more than crystal, if they bothered with balls at all. In fact, it's worth noting that most glass is made from sand, which is primarily comprised of quartz. So it's essentially much of a muchness, and if your work is focused on alchemy or transformation, or you have ethical concerns as to the source of crystal, you may prefer glass.
