Sailor Cruithne, Chibi Senshi of Lavender was up to her eyeballs in flowers. And perhaps for the first time since she'd been awoken as a terrorist, she was content. The Botanical Gardens located in the midst of the park was probably the reason. It was almost impossible to feel afraid when surrounded by so much color and life.
And, at least for now, she was the only one in here. The flowers wouldn't mind her company. And as she nestled back and relaxed, she whispered softly to the various plants, treating them as she would a dear friend.
She could think here and pray. And oh, did she have a lot to think about!

Some children spoke with classmates. Some spoke to imaginary friends. Yet, never did Medea witness a child speaking to plants. The whispers stirred her from her nap. She watched for agents from the branches of a maple, but exhausted and weepy, passed out. She felt empty of tears. Broken. Desolate. She wouldn't show the child though. She would pretend to feel happy. She would laugh and smile. She leapt down--the Chibi's back toward her. "Hello little one." She smiled. "Flowers making pleasant conversation?"
She approached.
Medea loved the flowers too. She collected white, pink and yellow roses for her apartment. Huge bouquets. Scattered everywhere. The apartment smelled like a flower shop and it was wonderful.
What did this little Senshi do out in the open by herself? Didn't she worry about officers? Youma?

In later days, Cruithne would think back on this moment and wince. Maybe she'd even laugh. Who knew. But for the moment, upon hearing someone suddenly speaking to her, when she'd been so sure that she was completely alone...
Cruithne let out a strangled shriek and jumped, whirling around to face the person who'd addressed her, blue eyes wide and frozen in terror. She barely registered the taller girl's smile or the rest of her words. She was too busy standing frozen, clearly not sure how to react.
So much for being alone with the flowers.

Medea snorted when the girl shrieked. She waved. ”Come on, I’m not scary.” She patted the sides of her giant pink skirt. ”I basically wear a cloud.” She smiled and plopped onto the ground beside the little one. ”My name’s Medea, Senshi of Enchantment.” She squinted at the flowers. ”So you talk to inanimate objects all the time or…?” She pulled a daffodil from its stem. She studied the way its yellow petals unfolded and took in the scent. ”They smell pretty ripe, dude. I think that means they’ll die soon. Kind of sad, right?”
She met the chibi’s gaze. At least their power signatures combined might dissuade youma or agents from crossing their path.

Heart still thumping with shock, Cruithne barely heard the girl's words, but the smile seemed reassuring and well, she had a point. She did look like she was wearing a cloud. But still she was a stranger and an unexpected one at that and Cruithne wasn't quite ready to let go of her resentment at being interuppted.
"I-I'm sorry," she stammered as she tried her best to keep her eyes down. "I-I thought I w-was alone. Y-you s-scared me."
Well, that was diplomatic enough. It was probably best that she not add that she was terrified of pretty much everyone and it didn't matter if you wore clouds or not.
"I-I'm Cruithe, C-chibi Senshi of L-lavender. And o-only the ones t-that I-I know w-will h-hear me."
Wincing at her stammer, she sighed a little and reached out to give one of the daffodils a tiny caress. Poor, pretty things. It wasn't their fault that they lived only to die in a burst of fragrance and glorious color.
"I-it would b-be sadder if t-they didn't," she murmured, half to herself. "They're o-only doing what t-they should."
