Name:Olivia Poecile

Nickname: Poe, 'Liv

Age: 18

Birthday: May 16

Sign: Tauros

Gemstone:  Emerald

Blood Type: AB

Fav. Food:
Pomegranate
It's a lot of work to figure out, but the seeds are well worth the effort extracting them! Olivia loves their tart- yet sweet taste.

Hated Food:
French Fries... Potatoes in general actually
They are just so... Potato tasting. Olivia really dislikes the taste of potato, and frying them just makes it worse for her.

School:  Crystal Academy

Hobbies:

Mediation
Her main hobby is what she considers to be her job and her future career. Olivia enjoys walking into the middle of a fight and ending it by helping others to find a middle ground. Compromises, contracts, deals... she finds the whole process to be a fun puzzle that, in the end, leaves everybody happy.

Hiking
Olivia finds that the outdoors clears one's head. The physical activity of hiking, the fresh air and the scent of pine, the sounds of birds or the night. To her, there is no better way to find a new perspective on the situation, or to at least calm down.

Virtues:

Diplomatic
Olivia seeks to create as little conflict as possible. If a conflict arises, she will always try to find the middle ground and resolve something peacefully. She keeps a good attitude and speaks politely and neutrally in order to try to discourage anybody from taking issue with her.

Caring
Olivia likes people, and she is very warm towards most she meets. In particular, she is fond of those 'below' her- children, freshmen, and the like. She is very protective towards them and likes to act as a mentor, helping them along and protecting them from crueler sorts.

Calm
Its not that Olivia is unemotional. She just chooses to show her emotions on a lower key than others. She likes it when she is as neutral as possible and is thoroughly embarrassed when she shows a strong emotion, such as wrath or joy. She is hard to rile, and keeps her head in even trying situations.

Smart
Olivia is no dummy. She has great grades and a lot of potential. This doesn't mean she doesn't have to work hard for those grades, but it does mean that if you need help with your homework, she is likely to be able to help you. It is occasionally a hinderance, however: She thinks very logically and practically, and sometimes the world doesn't work in purely boolean terms. Fortunately, she's intelligent and flexible enough to handle the occasional bizarre hurdle.

Flaws:

Manipulative
Olivia doesn't leave people alone. She isnt malicious, but she does meddle in other people's affairs. To her, everything is her business- after all, she has to look out for these people.
She is not above coercion or clever wordplay to get what she- or someone she likes- wants. If caught at it, she claims its all for their sake or for the greater good, but in the end its simply not pleasant to be manipulated like a chess piece.

Self Centered
Olivia may not be the sort of person to be an a*****e about it, but she is focused on herself. The world revolves around her, and its her job to keep it revolving happily. She feels that she has every right to be able to manipulate and mold the lives of other people. She is, after all, the best qualified and it's for their own good anyway, though she knows that sometimes she is the only one who sees that. She is in the center. She can see the big picture where others can't. She is, of course, not offended if they don't see where her plans will take them. So long as they stay on the course she provides.
Of all her flaws, this is the one that Olivia will continually be oblivious about. All other flaws, however, may be revealed by her concern with herself- the longer she looks at herself in the mirrors of life, the more she sees. But the mirror? Oh that is never the problem.

Naiive
Olivia believes that it is possible for everybody to get along. To her, the world is easy to understand, and its obvious how all of its problems can be solved: everybody just has to put aside their differences and understand each other. She refuses to accept that sometimes this is impossible, or that her view of the world is somehow wrong. It can be done, she just has to work hard and show them how!

Elitist
Olivia was raised to be very aware of class and social standing. She believes that there are people 'above' her, and people 'below' her (She also believes that she is pretty damn high up on the ladder, but that isn't the point). Again, she is not an a*****e about it- people 'below' her are in need of her care and protection, and she is at least genial to everybody- but she may become frustrated when people don't apply themselves like she thinks they should, she may hold not so nice stereotypes, occasionally say things that- while not intentionally offensive- may not be so nice, and be quite patronizing at times.

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION

Eyes: Green eyes, Calm. See concept art.

Hair: Hair is long, loose and lightly curled. Dark grey black, white at the sides. Inspiration was a black-capped chickadee. Hair is held back with a headband.

Face: Heart or acorn shaped. Skin is off-pale.

Clothes: Typical uniform. If she can have some color, then the kerchief in her concept art is fine. If she can wear it, the businesslike green pantsuit in her concept art would be great.

Concept Art

Senshi: Sailor Luce, Dark Mirror Senshi of Luminescence

Challenge:  Allow me to shine some light on the situation.

Fuku Colour: Well, she's a parallel senshi... So black?
I'm thinking that her theme will be heavily deep-sea influenced because bioluminescence
Main Color: Dark Blue, #030E59
Secondary Color: This or some other bright, luminescent color, #FFE880 Not white, of course. Her sphere is luminescence, like bioluminescence, not light specifically.

Fuku:

CC, though I would like to see some interesting designs on the overlay...
So CC and talk to me.

Attacks:  Light based, primarily nonoffensive, as Olivia/Luce really isn't a fighter. She usually will try to get AWAY from a fight or assist in a purely support manner. She's very into using her powers for communication and would prefer the fight to not even happen at all.

Sailor Scout Attack:  Life Protecting Glow
(Duration: 35sec) (3/battle)

Sailor Luce can summon a glowing light shield in front of herself, in front of an ally, or in a specific space. It takes the shape of a hexagon, about a meter in diameter. This shield can deflect light-power attacks (the average punch, minor air or missile based attacks), can can provide a source of light (the same power as a good street lamp)
The light it produces is customizable in color and intensity, though it usually is in chemical (glowstick) ranges. The color can be manipulated as needed and is can be clear or obscured. This makes it useful as a signal device.
The shield must be summoned in Sailor Luce's line of sight, and only one shield may be active at any given time.

Super Sailor Scout Attack:  Glow Divide
(Duration:15 seconds, 3/battle)

With training, Luce will be able to, instead of summoning a single shield, summon three individual shields instead, each 1/3 of a meter in diameter. They are each individually customizable in their color and intensity and, like the normal shield, can be summoned anywhere within line of sight. Each small shield can be summoned in different places that are in line of sight and the sheilds may be summoned at different times. However controlling and maintaining all three shields individually takes considerably more effort than the one shield, and even if only one small shield is summoned, it- and the other two partner shields- will only last for the 15 seconds from the first shield's summoning, mo matter when the other two shields were summoned (making it more convenient and practical to summon all three within a few seconds of each other.)
They are primarily useful for desperate/specialized situations or situations where three separate light sources would be useful (like signalling or coding)

*Both shield abilities can be used strategically, but cannot themselves damage an opponent. Another thing must happen to cause damage, like running into them at full tilt, or tripping over them.
*When they dissipate, they turn into a briefly glowing warm mist before vanishing completely

Eternal Sailor Attack:  Glow Flash
(1/battle, Stun/blindness duration 10 seconds, dazzled/impaired vision 20 seconds )

Sailor Luce can now create a flash of intense white light (like a flashbulb or a deku nut) that can potentially blind or stun enemies. If the eyes are covered or the subject is already blind or unable to see, this effect cannot happen. This is fortunate as friendly fire is possible with this ability. Luce herself can be affected by the flash, though she will normally instinctively close her eyes and look away while summoning the flash. The flash typically will originate from her hand or from the center of her chest

DraconicFeline

Hi there Draconic, and welcome to Moonshop~ I'm Song and I will be your critter for this quest! /chirpy flight attendant voice

In all seriousness, though, let's move on getting her stamped!

ON THE CIVILIAN SIDE:

Hobbies:

Mediation is good and kind of off-the-wall; it's not what I'd normally think of as a hobby, but here it works!

Hiking - does she hike alone, in groups, both? (Also I love that her profile seems to really revolve around her being level-headed~)

Virtues:

Unfortunately we do have a cap of four traits for each section; however, I think in this case, "Smart" and "Logical" could easily fold together into one trait!

Flaws:

Again, limit of four here!

Her "Naiive" flaw strikes me as a little out of place with the rest - if she's logical and manipulative, it seems odd to me that she'd be somehow stuck on a belief that everyone can just get along. It can be tweaked to fit, of course, but it sticks out to me as odd!

Also, her "Aloof" flaw is kind of occasional, and we prefer flaws that affect someone on a daily basis! If this can be extended to her being more generally aloof instead of only sometimes, it'd be great c:

ON THE POWERED SIDE:

Can you please provide a link to the celestial body Luce is named for? A wiki page or the like will do fine!

As they are, her attacks are kind of close to Chaldene of Will-o-the-Wisps; however, I do believe Luminescence could be a different sphere! Perhaps she causes an opponent to light up, making them a draw for allies' attacks? Maybe she projects a glowing shield? Lights up dark areas? Something like that!

Her Eternal is different enough; however, we prefer senshi don't jump from "support" to "attack" without good reason, so keep that in mind while making edits.

Also, when you're revising, please attach durations and numbers of uses to each attack<3

Quote me once you've made changes and I'll give her another look!

DraconicFeline

Hey, Draconic! I don't see any problem with this profile, so I'm more than willing to drop a stamp! Before I do that, though; the time limit for her eternal attack is really short so I wanted to double check that you were comfortable with only being able to use that attack once per battle? If you wanted to keep that duration, you could allow her to cast it three or so times per battle and it would still be fair--or, keep it with only one use per battle but change the duration ( I think you could easily leave them blind/with affected vision for twenty seconds, and maybe ten extra seconds of distorted vision as their vision returns to normal if you wanted). If you'd rather not make any changes, that's fine! Just quote me, let me know, and I'll drop a stamp!

*fiddles with it*

Okay, Stun/blindness 10 seconds, impaired vision 20 seconds... still good?
