The first impression that he got of Aisko was that the place seemed to be rather... lonely. It was so wide open, covered in but one color, and it was so cold here. The Merkein looked from side to side slowly, his eyes going wide as he tried to spot anything that wasn't completely snow coated but thus far no luck. It was a lonely place, one that made him feel like he was the only one alive for miles, and he couldn't help but to give a weak sigh, "Ahh... Eyphah... where are you." He murmured to himself, wishing that he could have spotted him straight away instead of finding himself standing knee deep in the snow on the edge of Aisko. Now... what...? How was he supposed to find him? This Aisko place seemed rather big, didn't it? Should he stick around this area and hunt while waiting for him to appear? Or should he search for him? What were the odds of finding him? What if he wandered off from this area and then the Diabi arrived looking for him?
"Ahh... what to do...?" He murmured, tail swishing slowly from side to side before he sighed a bit, "Alright... how about I see about investigating the area." Maybe if he was to search a smaller area he would be able to see something or smell something that would allow him to find Eyphah? That would be nice, he didn't like Aisko even in the least bit upon first glance. It was cold, it was empty, it was lifeless, and it was... he suddenly frozen in place when he heard the crunching of snow under what sounded like heavy foot fall. That... wasn't good, was it? Turning his head slowly to one side he saw not one but two large, prickly looking blue and white dragons. These must be the dragons native to this area he thought to himself, a bit in awe for a moment... before he realized that he was rather noticeable, wasn't he? He was brightly colored against the white snow in a way that he didn't care for even in the little bit. A part of him hoped that maybe if he didn't move that they wouldn't notice him, maybe they would just pass on by? The moment the thought came to mind though the two of them were turning their gazes his way making him freeze in place, "Ohh... no..." He murmured to himself.
The dragons saw him, Tallulah saw that the dragons had seen him, and in an instant the Merkein was whirling around on his heel, racing away from the pair of dragons, and dove back into the ocean with a great 'SPLASH' sound. The moment he went under he saw the two dragons over head, one of them batting at the surface of the water with its clawed foot, but neither came in after him. Was it because they couldn't swim? Tallulah had no clue but he was gonna move his tail before they decided to prove him wrong by diving in after him. He would stick to the water, circle around a bit, wait for a chance, and he would leave again the water again so that he could return to searching for his Diabi teacher who was in Aisko somewhere. He would just have to do his best to keep from being caught by those icy colored, prickly, cactus like dragons, and do his best to keep from being eaten by them. Of course now that he'd seen them he felt the desire to go after them building up. He should get some of their orbs, shouldn't he? Eyphah would be disappointed if he didn't... so maybe while he was looking for him he would take time to do some hunting to show the Diabi that he wasn't slacking off.
